Anyone know what the reasoning is SK Eruds cannot wear these? As Iksar can equip it shouldn't be deity and as humans can equip it shouldn't be size.

This is now humans and large races instead of just human and iksar.
this is also Bst usable as of today when it dropped for us
Updated item pic to show all the "new" (since 2006?) races
According to my logs it's dropped twice in over a dozen Trak kills so probably about same loot chance as the breastplates.

anyhow you generally have a cleric already casting abolish poison on your entire group when your raiding anyways so its really not that big of a prob, on trekky raid i generally have 2 clerics 1 shammy 2 monks including me and 1 warrior by the time he casts his mega DoT spell our clerics are already casting some sort of spell to heal it and the shaman is already healing us all and buffing.... -15 poison isnt that big of a deal as long as you know what your doing....or maybe instead of the shammy we have a necro to play the mana battery role it gets interesting

still this is one of the BEST mantles a monk can get at any time no matter what anyone says it weighs nothing and adds +7 to all important stats, not to menton 15 ac, just get a buff from some druid to buff your poison resistance or shammy or somthing.

Well most people at the level where they can atain such an item (56+ is usualy the going level for a Trak Raid). You usualy have another item to take the place of an item (I.E Resistance Jewlery, AC Armor, STR Gear..ect). So if the Neg 15 sv poision comes into effect just switched to a tattered mantle or obolous.
Unless your actually up against Trak, does the -15 Sv. Poison really matter? I mean...how often do you keep a poison shield up durring a normal raid? So if you're wearing this request one if it's needed.
But I'm only level 39, so I could be way out to lunch.

that's hella good stats. who cares bout the poison save unless your in a situation against posion. most times your not

The Save vs Poison will come in handy later when MOBs begin to cast 600-1000 point DOTs on you. Those can ruin a raid if they are AOE and there are no casters that can cure nearby.
and then you can just take it off Scaelus. I think the point is when you arent "raiding" something that has a lot of poison casting mobs you can wear this, but if you happen to be hunting some uber mob that has a AE poison dot thing then just replace it with another shoulder peice.
