Sebilis was built by Venril Sathir during the height of the Iksar Empire, and was once a stronghold for the Iksars of Kunark. Following the death of Emperor Ganak and a steady onslaught of slave uprisings, goblin invasions, and forest giant attacks, the Iksar Empire declined in power. Trakanon dealt one of the final blows to the Empire, destroying the city of Sebilis, and was himself mortally wounded as a result. Presently, the ruins of Old Sebilis are occupied by a clan of Frogloks. Iksar skeletons and ghouls roam the city's old burial grounds while a poisonous, undead Trakanon can be found in a lair far below the main city.

Many years following their stronghold's destruction, the Iksars established themselves in Cabilis, far west from the site of a dark moment in their history.

Anyone at least 46th level can zone into Sebilis without a key. The old Key to Sebilis quest is still active, but is now optional (though required if you are under 46).

Im a 48 Enchanter on Flippy. I went to Trakanon's Teeth to do the quest and ran around invis'd looking for the guys. I found a Forager and started attacking looking to pull toward the west wall. But, I aggro'd about 4 other mobs instantly. This was along the river close to the Swamp of No Hope zone. I went back with a Druid to track and upon zoning in, he saw about 5 of each mobs up. So, it doesnt seem like the Hunters and Foragers are rare on Flippy like some of the posts say. The druid pulled to EJ zone and we killed them pretty quickly. Both hit for a max of about 120-140. They both dropped the medallions on the first kill. Invis vs undead through the cemetary area to the Emporer.

Ok, I have not spent alot of time in Seb, really just go there to kill froggies for the alchamey components. But recently I came to a locked door at the Pyramid down the center pathway, usually just go down to the lower section via the water. Now I could not get the door to open via beating a mob to low health and letting it path to the door to open it so I am guessing it is a keyed door? If so where do I get said key? Anyone have any ideas please. Would love to know what is in there and be able to cleared the whole zone, hehe.

Swimming your way around this is an option - it is a non-exploitable way to get around the need of a rogue to pick the lock, or the ability to side-step.

Could you explain that in detail, as I believe you are talking about getting to the Jails, Myconids, Jugs, etc, and not the undead in the pyramid.

Shrink twice. Wedge yourself into the corner of the door. Camp out. Camp back in. You'll be on the other side of the door. (at least, this is how I do it.)

If you can't gate, you might be screwed. It's locked from both sides.

That door is Rog-only door. There is no key. It requires Pick Lock skill of 200 or higher.

There are ways to bypass it, as there are with any such door. Shadowstepping, Illusions, etc. There is no geometry bug on this door to wedge through, and the mobs on the other side of the door don't summon, so that doesn't work either.

Ever since this has been made a 'hot zone', the mobs have pretty much been tuned up to epic zone like mobs. They have had their HP's morbidly increased, and they hit harder. My Warrior on FV server has 6800 HPs, and nearly 1700ac, and I still have to end up running for the zone when I get adds, and have more then 3, and sometimes only 3 mobs on me. F*cking Ridiculous.

And I forgot to mention my warrior is level 52, with 6800 HPs, 1680ac. Use level 50 healing and haste potions, along with DS potion. My primary wep does 19 damage, 19 delay, and secondary 18 damage, 24 delay...not one of my peices of equipment have under 90 Hit points. This toon is totally stacked, and still 3 blue conning mobs give me trouble...that's right...FUC*ING BLUE MOBS almost kill a toon with HPs And AC that high. Anyway, i'm just giving a heads up as to how morbidly rigged this zone is now.

I just did the Forager/Hunter key quest for my 39 Warrior last week (39 at the time) and am now going to do it for my new 36 Necro.

You still have to turn in the two medallions to the ghost and get the idol if you want to zone in and you are level 45 or less. If you are 46 or higher, you do not need to do the key quest unless you want it to make a full /key ring.

27 posts
Doesn't seem that this has been covered entirely YET, which amazes me. haha. Considering it's a ooooold zone. (I know there's map's now, but anywayw...)

Anyway, to get past the pyramid you need a rogue aparently (well this has been told before). BUT, if you don't have one around you, go back to the bridge and jump down into the water, doesn't matter what way you swim cause you will get to the same pointeventually. But the closest is to the right when you come from the pyramid. Then find a hole in the ground under the water, takes you down into a room, and if I remember correct, jump down into another water and swim on. In the middle there somewhere you can go up to get air, but this is where you go to get further down actually, and there you go. Should now be by some frogloks and prison cells, just wander right past them straight forward.
What I'm not sure of is how you get to the undead part of Sebilis doing it this way, there might be some hidden doors etc. Look at your map! :)

This is a known issue and a fix is coming.

On the Developer Chat held February 21, 2007 at Stratics House of Commons, someone asked, "Is there a timer when we can expect the Sebilis Key quest to be fixed? As a hotzone, many of us are eager to play there, but cannot."

Rashere (Travis McGeathy, Lead Designer for EverQuest) said, "I've been working on this exact problem today and think I have a solution now. Once this chat is done, I'll be verifying it and getting the fix into QA. For reference, this only seems to affect people who are trying to get into the zone using only the idol and don't have it on their key ring yet. So, it should be fixed on live servers very soon, although it will require a full patch to get it out there."

Ok folks I deceided I wanted this augment for my Beast lord, hey ac helps when you wear leather. I asked in general chat if anyone had this, several people did and sent me a link, so I sent them a tell and asked where they happened to get it in Seb and what did it drop off of. Armed with this information and my Seb key, I had a friendly druid gate me to the emerald jungle, then did the long run thru Trakanon's teeth to old Seb. I was the only one in zone when I got there and I started killing right from the entrance around to the exit. One person told me that his augment dropped right near the first bridge so I went back and forth killing frogs since everyone said when they started the fight the unmasked changeling started out looking like a frog. I was there for 3 hours killing with out stop watching my buffs fall off, filling my pockets with gems and various loot. Finally when I was about to quit it occured to me what if there was only one or maybe two unmasked changelings in the whole zone and while their pop was random and location was varied maybe you had to kill them where they are hiding. With this hope in my heart I headed out on a one way killing spree down past the jail (where I had not killed) and into the lower level rooms third pull from the room at the bottom the sneaky little froggy turned into the unmasked changeling at about 70% health and I was never so happy to kill a most dashing Iksar Beastlord (they change into who ever has the agro at the moment they dip below 70% health)I looted my augment, drank my field of bone potion and headed home.

Correction to post. Augment can drop off any mob that pops in zone, got one off a beetle. If you are in an area and do not see an unmasked changeling then you have to hunt in areas that others have been killing in. I strongly feel that there are only so many of these mobs in a zone and they will not move around, you have to kill them where they happen to spawn which is random through out the zone.

Back in June there was a patch that increased the strength of all pre-PoP (perhaps pre-Luclin, it's been a while - not sure) mobs. HP, AC, ATK, Max Dmg, and even attack speed were all increased. Hit point increase was quite dramatic, usually double or close to it.

As always, of course, it didn't work as they intended. Mobs in zones that were never intended to be strengthened were (some LoY zones were a nightmare) and even greeny trash in Sebilis was hitting for 400+ for a while. Fortunately, they corrected the issue, but hunting in old zones is not, and never will be, quite the same/easy as it once was.

You, sir/madam, are the soul of hypocrisy.

You constantly complain about being 'flamed', yet every sentence you type here is rude to the point of offensive. In fact, one could be forgiven for concluding, based on your unwillingness to simply clarify whom the first post was directed towards, that your sole purpose in posting these is to antagonize and insult other posters. A troll, as it were.

Regardless, I addressed the issue with my first post, and continuing this would be a needless waste of Alla's space, and the time of anyone unfortunate enough to browse through this.

As to the edit you allude to; one - and only one - letter was changed. Seperate -> separate. It's an old mistake that slips through occasionally when typing quickly, and Alla's wouldn't let me edit the post when I noticed it.

To re-iterate (for anyone still reading this looking for information on that key), to enter Sebilis, the Trakanon Idol is needed; a link exists (The Key to Sebilis) at the bottom of the zone description at the top of this page. For entering the pyramid, though, I'm unaware of any key capable of opening the door; you may want to befriend a rogue.

You have yet to clarify which posts and which key you were referring to. The logical assumption, based on your reply, would be the posts from four years ago asking about the key to Sebilis. More on that later.

jagweir wrote:
Another thing, to state that I wasn't going to flame and turn around and do it anyway isn't called a 'grammatical error'. It would be closer to a 'false statement'.

My original statement: "Sadly, I managed my way through the grammatical atrocity that comprised your post." The next sentence was a separate statement and, perhaps, should have been placed into a new paragraph to disassociate it with that sentence. I simply prefer to avoid one sentence paragraphs. Nevertheless, one had nothing to do with the other, and I apologize if it seemed that way.

You freely admit that the posts you claim to be replying to are over four years old and you still try to pass your post off as an attempt to help? Please re-read my post. As I said then, and will say again, your entire post is nothing more than an insult directed at those posters assuming that the link you refer to - the quest for the key to Sebilis - existed over four, going on five years ago. It was pointless and rude, and not at all helpful.

Sadly, I managed my way through the grammatical atrocity that comprised your post. It seems asinine to say "I'm not going to flame" and the proceed to do so, but in the face of your staggering misconceptions, it's really rather humorous.

The link you refer to gives information on the key required to enter the zone.

First, if you are referring to the earliest posts seeking information about the key to enter Sebilis, do remember that they were made over four years ago! Regrettably, I cannot tell you whether the link to the key quest existed then, but if these are the posts you refer to, your blatant assumption that it did is ridiculous.

Secondly, if you are referring to the more recent posts about the key to the pyramid, a short exploration of the zone would show you that - no, the Trakanon Idol does not grant access to this area of Sebilis. I'm unaware whether a rogue is actually required or if there is an actual key for the door.

If you were talking about something else entirely, then in my defense, attempting to translate your post nearly gave me a migraine.

And yes, my post was not much kinder than yours, but meh. It's late, and I'm cranky!

Sorry for the sketchy detail ( found this late last night, and I am not at home now), but there appears to be a new mop since the patch. Its a changeling, or shape shifter, it spawns as a froglok, looks like one, and is named as being one, but when you get it down to about 70% it changes into your form. It says something about a shape shifter haves been revealed. It drops a Stone of Might, which is an augment. It appears that it spawning is completely random. In 3 hours it popped 5 times. Also he the same level as the froglok and isn't any harder to kill.

New "changling" mobs are now in all the hot zones. They drop the new augs put in via the 12/5/06 patch. This is from the dev as posted in EQ forums. There were also hints of a number of other new items added as drops in the new hot zones.

My lvl 19 Ranger got an aug (sorry, at work, don't have stats to post) in Unrest last night. It was quite a surprise to be fighting myself... glad I won :)

yes a shaman or necro around 58+ can solo here all day, make your way down to the guard area and have at it, at higher lvls you can invis and simply run past all the front mobs. Sometimes you will get one to aggro on you but it is not to hard to kill it, i do it all the time at 65. Even lower lvls can solo the front area, they can drop spells and gems.

Ok, there is this door before the reet frogs area, you can open it by clicking a stone beside it. Once you crossed on the other side off this door you can't re-open it, even if you clic on a similar stone biside it, because you get a "this door is locked" message AND even unlocking the "stone" only makes the thing turn on it self !!! WHAT THE ****?

This is just a heads up to anyone that cant gate and is going to hunt reet frogs, bring a gate potion or a necro and a cleric, because your gona need them.

And if any Everquest programer is reading this, put the right triggers at the right place, not on the stone beside the freakin' door.

You can reopen the door from the inside 3 different ways. The first option obviously is with a lock pick if your a Rogue. The 2nd option is to open the door with the spell "Eye of Zomm" with either a Stalking Probe that you can buy in the Bazaar, or with the following Items with this effect: Batling Eye, Clay Bracelet, Crystalline Orb, Holgresh Elder Beads, Singing Steel Helm. The 3rd option is to change yourself into a gnome with an illusion potion or double shrink yourself and then sit down as close as possible to the locked door, and then use the F9 key if I remember correctly to change the perspective / view on your screen, then pan the view as needed until the screen shows the stone / pot on the other side of the door. Clicking on it with your mouse pointer will reopen the door. Enjoy and Good Luck.

After being stuck behind this for about 30 minutes trying to get through it (as a Rogue, lock pick only makes the pot spin around), a friendly juggernaut was kind enough to path through the door and open it for me. So if you're patient and super invisible, a mob will eventually open it.

Actually i was unable to get the door open with my rogue picking the lock. I could pick the rock next to it, but the door would not open? This was on the way back from trak, gotta be some kind of bug. So i used the rogue version of gate ie. summon in Guild lobby.

May take less time to get a gang together to take down whatever mob drops the spell, than to farm for plat and let someone else be the hero. I got fed up looking to buy for some level 52+ druid spells, but I ended up getting most of what I needed by helping a bard friend hunt for epic drops in Skyfire. Not only did I get my spells, I got great xp and saw some people take down Ragefire. A lot more fun than plat farming alone.

The reason they aren't listed, is that the zone just got a small revamp.. it takes time to find out all the new stuff about it...

My second time into the zone last night, with an an incredible group camping the disco. Whenever some called for a camp check, someone always yelled "froglok underwear salesman!" I thought it was a joke at first, then after an hour there was a lot of cheering, and that group saying they got the robe for their monk, and much rejoicing ensued. They tried to link it for the zone, but couldn't for some reason. Flaming something, i think. Didn't see a flaming anything on the zone drop list, however.

Smiley: confusedSo my Question is this: who and where is the "Froglok underwear salesman" and what the heck is the monk robe it drops?

Thanks all!

Guide to OS

With PoP, the only reason for us to want to go to OS now is cash loot and 60 spell drops. However, for the lower 50s who may find it hard to get PoP groups, its still a good place to exp and excellent loot.

Before you venture into OS, you will need to do 2 things. First, print off maps of Trakanon, Emerald Jungle and OS from Eqatlas. Then, get your key if you don't already have it. To get your key you need to kill 2 froggys in Trakanon, (I cant remember their names) and hand the medallions that they drop to the Emperor Granak or something like that.

Ok, so you got your maps and your key. Head to the ruins and find the ramp leading down to OS. You will see a orange globe in a big room. If you are planning to camp here for a long time, I would recommend that casters bind here. Pick up the key and click it on the globe.

Zone In

OS, unlike KC or velks, has a separate zone out which you will see from the map i.e. no trains! You will sometimes see people fighting mobs at zone in, but these are ones which they have pulled from further in. Normally, people will not pull to zone in unless they are confident of killing the frogs without assistance, so don't be alarmed. No frogys spawn at the immediate entrance, so you are safe to buff up and find yourself a group. Ahead of you is a ramp leading down to a long straight corridor. Along this corridor are 3 pairs of frogs. To get to these camps they will need to be killed. Brief note on the types of frogs in OS. Knights are melee types, can hit hard so slow is nice. Wizards and shamans like to cast lots, so MR is definitely a good thing. Always make sure you and your group are buffed up with MR at all times. Shamans also like to gate when low on hp, so warriors please save bash button when they are getting low and only bash when they cast gate spell. Clerics and enchanters should also have a stun spell loaded if possible. One other type of froggy which is found in the deeper camps are enchanters. They will tash, mez slow and gravity flux you but tend to be weaker than any of the others so die quite quickly.

Inevitably, unless you can start up a balanced group at zone in, you will be asked to join an existing group inside the dungeon. What I often do is to just start up a temporary group with whoever is at zone in just to kill the spawns in the first corridor and then disband once you are past them.

Once they are killed, proceed along the corridor and you will come to a door. Behind the door are 2 more frogys so watch out.

B1 camp

Past the door the tunnel takes a sharp right and then opens up to a large hall, which is surrounded by a moat. There are 3 separate bridges over this moat leading to other tunnels. The first bridge you see is known as B1 (bridge one). Over the bridge is where the B1 camp. This is probably the least popular camp as there are limited spawns nearby. More often, it serves as a waypoint for people to gather to head down the tunnel to the bar/chef and necro jail camps. It is also a safe place to camp/med as you won't get aggroed here.

Zone out
If you don't cross the B1 bridge but bear further on to your left, you will see a second bridge on your right leading to an open area with a tunnel further on. This open area is the necro camp (more of which later). On your left, you will see what looks like a main entrance. This is the exit to zone out. Be warned, to actually get to the zone out portal, you have to run inside, along a corridor and open 2 sets of doors before you hit the zone portal, which ports you out automatically. Along the way you will pass 2 frog spawns, 3 golems and 2 more frogs at the portal itself. Sometimes, you will be lucky and people will be camping Zone out but not always. I have run it before with my warrior and never died but casters please watch out. Whatever you do, don't stop, just run and try and be at full hp/buffed with ac/hp before you do it. Tip - if you are running out with your group, hang back and let the melee types go in first, as they will get aggroed and beat on, saving you a beating in the process.

Necro Camp

Ok about the necro camp. This is one of the more popular camps in the zone, because its easy to hold, has plentiful spawns and has good loot. Its called the necro camp because you are camping the necrosis scarab which spawns just further along the tunnel. The scarabs always drop gems and this is where I have got all my Blue diamons and diamonds from. The necrosis scarab drops some armour stuff. Also, at the bottom of the tunnel is the entrance to another camp, called the crypt. In front of the crypt are some more froggys and a sebilite golem, who drops the lamentation. You will know when he is going to drop it because you will see him holding it. Necro is a safe camp, and can be held by a reasonably balanced group.

B3 camp

Ok if you are back at the main hall area and standing in front of zone out entrance facing bridge to necro camp, to your left will be the final bridge over the moat, called B3. Past the bridge is where the B3 camp normally is. The tunnel past the bridge leads to another deeper camp called discos, more of which later. At the B3 camp, people will pull mobs from zone out and from further down the tunnel. B3 is another popular camp due to plentiful spawns in the area, but loot is not as good as necro. A good enchanter is also more important here, as multiple spawns/pulls are more common. There are also spawns right near the camp too, so you can expect on occassions to deal with up to 4/5 mobs.
Disco Camp

To get to disco camp you go to the end of the tunnel past B3 and through the doors at the main entrance. Its called disco because the main hall inside has a glowing ceiling. Normally, you will camp inside a room just to the right of the main hall. This is a more dedicated camp. Adds here are common and a balanced group is a necessity. If you do find yourself here then its a nice place, with good potential for loot. Things like the froglok bonecasters robe drop here. You can also camp in the first main hall that you see. To pull, you need to go through the doors at the end of the hall. This leads you further in. There are rooms on the left and right that you can pull from. The room on the left, you will see a library. At the back is a false wall which leads through to a tunnel and you can go through there to pull stuff as well.

Necro Jail camp

Ok to get to necro jail camp you need to cross bridge at B1 and proceed down the tunnel. The tunnel will then open out and you will see a main entrance on your left. Just inside this is the necro jail camp. It called necro jail because inside, you will pull from the jail necromancer lizards. Also inside the jail are a scarab and 2 frog spawns. Its safe to stay inside the entrance as you wont get aggroed. There are regular spawns outside the main entrance too. When you get inside, you will see a corridor past a jail gate. Along the corridor are 4 cells, inside each is a necro. Past the corridor down some steps is a small room where the scarab and 2 froggy spawn. When you pull the necro, you will normally get one other to add, not all 4. It is possible to do this camp without an ench, as long as you have decent tanks. This is another good camp and it’s a bit more regular and quieter than the other camps.

Bar chef

If you proceed further along the tunnel past the necro jail, you will come to the entrance to bar/chef, named for the froggy bartender inside. This is a large camp. There is an entrance to your left and one straight ahead. If you take the one straight ahead, go through the doors you will find yourself in a tunnel. If you go left, you will be in the froggy bartender camp room. Go to the right and immediately on your left you will see a large open room with a dining table. THis is your camp spot. You can pull through the doors at the end of the room. Be careful there are 5 spawns there. Also at the top of the stairs to the right and left are further rooms you can pull from. There are also static spawnsin the dining room too. Need a good ench here as adds are common.

Crypt

The crypt is the camp at the bottom of the tunnel past necro camp. You will need a rogue to lockpick to get inside. The experience here is pretty good. When you get inside, there are 2/3 static spawns you have to clear. Some of the mobs have pets. Go down the ramp and head to the left. You will come to a open up area. Turn right, go down the ramp and you will come to another room. On your right is a small room with mobs. Dont have to pull these. On your left is a set of stairs going down to a main hall. Inside the main hall are 2 static golems and 4 rooms, 2 on each side of the hall. Inside each room is a PH for a named skelly which drops nice stuff like hiero cloak etc.
The golem can be mezzed so mez on fight the other. IF you dont have a mezzer, make sure you pull one golem outside the hall and not in Line of sigh of the other as they can CH. MAke sure you stun them at low health or else they will CH.
To camp crypt properly, you have to do it in a cycle. Kill the 2 golems, then the 4 spawns in rooms. Then head outside the door on the otherside of the hall. TUrn left outside the door and bear right. YOu will then see 2 skelly guards outside a door. This is the door to emperor. Pull the guards and go inside. Inside is a single PH spawn on top of a coffin ina room. He is PH for Blood of Chottal. Once you kill him, make sure you have enough mana. Also you need a lvl 60 to single pull. Open up the next door you will see either the emperor or his PH in the middle of the room with 4 guards on the walls. Emperor can be single pulled.
When you pull him keep him to the side of the wall and kill him quick. He drops nice rare 60 spells like malo etc.
Once you kill emperor, you will have enough time to go back to the main hall and then the crypt guardians should spawn again.l Kill them, the 4 spawns, hten back to blood of chottal and emperor. rinse repeat as long as you can.

Other tips

A few words of warning, be careful when crossing bridges, they are slippery. Also, stay well clear of the moats and don't fall in. If you do, stay put, invis /hide if you can and get a summon or port out as soon as possible. More than likely you may be killed by wondering mobs. Dont get your group to follow you down either. The only other way out is to go deep inside the second level where there is a zone out. Not recommended, as certain death unless you actually mean to venture into the 2nd level with a good group.

For your information, 2nd level is where the king spawns (he who drops the fungi tunic). It is also the home of the resident dragon trakanon. I have done the king camp once, with a 60 cleric, 60 enchanter, 57 rogue, 58 shaman and me (55 warrior). Unless you can get a similar group, I would not try it. The mobs here hit v hard and long. If you can do it, you can camp the king reasonably safely. In the room where the king spawns there are a couple of other pops (look like human mushrooms). If possible, you have to keep one mob in the room at all times so the king doesnt run outside. The respawn time on the king is about 25 mins. He was yellow to me at 55.

Nowadays OS is quite empty so if you want to besure of a group bring your own.

Warriors: Always needed. But would not come here until about 52/53 otherwise hard to get a group.
Rangers: one of the zones where you are always popular because of snare.
Druids: also popular in this zone, because of snare and evac.
Clerics, enchs and shamans: needless to say, you will always be welcome.
Monks: Not really necessary for b1.b3, necro jail camp but popular for disco, crypt and bar chef.
Rogues: indispensible for crypt because of lockpick.

Finally, if at the end of the day you are planning to camp, dont head out to zone in/trakanon if you can. Instead, I would advise you to camp out in the main hall area, either at necro or B1, so that when you log back on, you dont have to fight your way through the mobs at the main entrance.

Well, thats about it. Just to let you know how good this place has been to me, I have camped it for about 8 times in the past few weeks (normally between 2-4 hours each time) and in that time I have won :-

In the time i used to camp at OS i could make easily 1kpp a night. Often more. Always lots of cash loot weapon and armour drops and once in a while you will get a nice item. I won malo in crypt. All in all i must have made about 60-70kpp hunting in OS for a few levels.

Pretty good guide. A few notes...if you do a camp check, NOBODY will ever say "necro camp", its real name is "Guard". The Necrosis scarab is the named pop there and does SUMMON, so be careful. The Guard camp is very soloable with a 55+ druid. Very good loot at this camp, I average about 1500pp an hr here. Also, the B1 place is NOT a safe place to med. 3 wanderers walk by this place and will aggro. I would suggest climbing up on the hill across the bridge of B1. For most of the first level, enchanters are nice for adds, but all too often, you cant find one when you need one. Rangers/druids are more than adequate to park those adds.

For those with good resist gear, the casters are fine game. With a 180MR, 200+ CR/FR, I just root, snare em, throw on 5k of dots then duck out of their line of sight to avoid any more nukes. Only the Ilis casters have a chance at making me uncomfortable. The krupp chanters are a bit touchy too for my 58 Druid.

At level 58, I can solo the jail, and about half of the time can single pull the necros. Very mana intensive, as they slip out of root frequently and hit very hard. Good lot here as well, the necros drop nice gems about 50% of the time and the bug about 90%.

Before PoP, you'd have a good chance of getting a group here, it was almost overcamped. But now, thanks to PoP, most people that're 55+ have gone to the plains. I had to get away from OS because the most people there at any time was about 10, and when it's that underpulled, OS is a DANGEROUS EVIL PLACE.

If no one is pulling the IZ-OZ route, you can get stuck quite easily.

I've recently moved to Velks Lab. I think the EXP is comparable to the normal camps in OS, and the loot is decent, but pales to that of OS.

VL is about 30x safer than OS, you can flee to zone if things get out of hand, unlike OS. In my last few days of OS, I was in a 5 person party (out of 9 people in the zone, on a WEEKEND AFTERNOON). We were in Disco when something catastrophic happened, cleric LD or something of that nature, and we had a wipeout. When we came back, the zone was EMPTY. CR took 2.5 hours of fighting mostly naked, because a good majority of mobs in OS can see invis, (Rogue Hide/Sneak CR abilities are severly limited) from IZ to the GOz area before another 5-6 people showed up and helped us clear the area. I don't know how things are on your server, but I've heard a lot of people on the boards here complaining about the lack of people in the 50+ non-PoP zones.

I generally sit at ZI and wait for someone(s) to start clearing their through and politely ask them if I can tag along. At 60, I'm a bit wary of trying to solo my way down there since I lack Torpor and my level 61 pet.

Dropping down from the bridges that lead to either Disco, Guard or Jail is a great spot to fish. Just drop down, get on the ledge and start fishing.

I go AFK in this spot all the time without ever getting agro. This is an excellent place to fish, very quiet and peaceful. I don't even keep gate up.

Good luck with those Kunzar Koi. :)

Maybe. You'll need to just jump down into the river. There's some shores and stuff down there that you could sit and fish from, and you should be well out of agro range of the mobs up top. There might be some other spots, but you're pretty safe here. I wouldn't recommend trying to run/swim out once you're down there, so bring your Succor spell with you.

51 is the min for seb. The mobs can be killed at lowers lvls but people tend to have a really hard time finding a grp till 51.

It's not real easy to describe how to get down to the 2nd level. But if you zone into Sebilis and head south down the hallway that you are facing, you eventually come to a door. If you go through that door, the passage takes a right turn (west). It then goes a short distance and turns left (south) again. At this point, there is a big rock and you can see B1 (bridge 1) just a short distance away. The bridge is, of course, over water. If you jump into the water (location -220, +175), swim all the way to the bottom and head to the northwest, you will see a hole in the bottom of the floor. If you go down this hole, you well end up in a room (the pipe room, it's sometimes called) and you are at the beginning of the lower levels of Sebilis.

By the way, the way I have just described needs to be cleared of frogs, of course. The entry hall, the big rock, and the room that you swim down into all have frogs that spawn in those locations. There are no frogs in the water though, so swimming to the "pipe room" should be safe. Hope this helps.

That was a temporary bug and has been fixed. You do need the key in your possession or on your king ring in order to enter Sebilis.

Actually, you DO need a key. It is possible that it was a bug that was fixed with last patch, but I just tried last night to enter Seb w/ no key and got the message, "It is locked, and you are not holding the key." Also, it will appear to those who have keys, but not on their person that you no longer need a key, as the whole key ring thing eliminates the need to actually have it with you. At any rate, I had no key and could not get in. So, the Froglok Hunter becomes the Hunted!

Sorry but you have to get a key. Get the medallions off the froglock forager and the froglock hunter in Traknon Teeth, and turn in to the emperor. Not to difficult, just takes a bit to find them. Just take a decent tracker with you.
