soloed with 75 necro. 15.2k hps (cleric buffs), 13.3k mana, epic 1.5. Used epic pet, swarm of decay (3/9) and wake the dead (mushroom corpse helped).
He resisted everything but lifetaps, so I burned him down on those. I never got below 60% or so....and had about 30% mana at the end.
He did hit hard and was tougher than I though (yes, he hits fast), but wasn't bad at all.
He actually turned into an unmasked changeling when he was around 30% or so.
So, imagine fighting skelly with necro epic 1.5 in hand. haha, it looked pretty funny.
He dropped an "Stone of might"(aug) and the essence of old seb (new VP key quest).

The Echo of Sebilis is not KOS and does not assist other mobs. It seems to have many, many PHs in the lower area of Sebilis -- perhaps any myconid, froglok, or juggernaut. Just clear the area of mobs and you will eventually spawn it.

He appeared to have spawned in place of one of the mushrooms.
While camping the king, I attacked him (he is not kos and does not assist other mobs). As a 77 Pally with 301 AAs, including max Slay Undead AAs (he is undead), and only in bazaar gear, I was able to beat him.
It was a tough fight, but my slays eventually beat him down. While I was fighting him, I aggroed 4 mushrooms - 2 healers and 2 fighters. The mushrooms were healing him, but their heals could not keep up with my slays.
Not long after, I saw him up again. Presumably, he spawned from one of the roamer mushrooms that I killed that path through the king's camp area.

Soloed 5 mins ago on Quellious server, 74 mage 135AA's 10.5K mana all aa's for DPS. he was in reet room to the east, killed everything in the area and med to full , no clarity of any kind illusion water elemental regen for mana, self buffed with mana regen also.

75 monk, 2.0, 10khp/2kac, couldn't solo this punk unbuffed. Tried a few times while camping king (he was just hanging out on top the platform). Could only get him to 45-50% both times I tried. Dropped him 20-30% per ashenhand+clawstriker so I would say he has about 50-60k hp. Would only take 1 minute to take him down, but just couldn't last that long w/o healer, with the dmg he puts out(a couple flurrys totalling to 800-1kx4 each). 1 CH would have probably done the trick.

is this the only mob that wll drop essence of old seb?
I would assume so, it's not listed under any other mobs, and the quest has been in place long enough that if there was an alternative, it would have been found.

Took this guy down today solo- 75 wiz - 12.8k mana and 10k hp , only buffs i had up was familiar, self hp buff and hp rune with pyro. Mana blazed it, used cold snap rank 2 , took about 30 sec for it to be said and done. Gl guys, this guy did suprise me when he took me to 30%, popped a health pot, ran away while he summoned but he doesnt summon to often, allowed cold snap to come back a few times. fun stuff.

Just soloed it as a 70 paladin, wouldn't have won without slays tho...

Rog as tank, Druid heals, Sham slow. We all used Infusion of the Faithful veteran aa. Killed him np.

The trick to healign is to time his AOE which also STUNS and may result in your tank death if hi stuns you abotu to fisnish castign your 10 sec heal
the winnign fun was spoiled by Trak who agroed on us from a mile away for soem weird reason - thgout we took him down to 56% before he basnihed our tank and bst and killed us one by one

I was working my way to the shroom king solo when I came across this guy DB to me lvl 70 shaman well equiped 8400hp and 1680ac. I did'nt know anything about him but love a challenge well.....
Pulled him with slow, I knew I was in trouble when he nuked me for 1450! I backed away trying to get in a better position, dogdog was getting mashed pretty quick so I backed it off thinking I should take a share of the dmg, we started trading blows and he was hitting me for 600 - 700 a pop! O oh! at this point I'm thinking exit portal near shroom king is'nt too far away, I'd got a couple of crit heals for 4000+ off which bought me a little time, from what I recall he is unrootable to. Anyway I run like a dog for the portal and get summoned /sigh and he beat me all the way back to Halas!
lesson learn't, don't pull mobs you know nothing about.....

The mushrooms will heal him if they close, and that is just irritating. Killed this fella twice now, single group, but had to off tank a cleric mushroom last time, and things were a lot closer. Much OOMness. Druid, shaman, 2 pallies, rogue and ranger.
If you see the echo up, may be worth killing a lot of the mushrooms first.

Seems to me that most, if not all mobs in Seb are PHs. I've not only seen him spawn in Jail but on King tower as well. Kill a mob enough times in the same spot and eventually he'll probably spawn there.
For fun my cousin and I tried to kill him...65 Wiz and 65 Necro. BIG mistake ! Went to pet pull and 1.5 secs later pet was gone and he was running at me. 2 secs later I was down to 16% HPS and the Wiz insta evaced us to zone. *message to self...next time have a tank, healer and slower =P

DPS: around 210 (not including the 1.5K AE)
Hit Range: 232-872
Hits for max fairly often
Cold Based spells are highly effective (not sure about any others, didn't get a chance to try them out)

Slowable, Magic resist is higher than norm but not impossible. I tashed, and then slowed. He mitigates most of it ending up only slightly slowed. Make sure to get everyones hp up as far as possible, we lost because the Clr had to group heal and out agroed the tank (albeit that probably shouldn't have happened in the first place) Keep the tank up with GOOD agro and hes not to bad. AoE seemed to be on a timer, maybe 30 sec/ish. not sure.

Waiting for Trakanon to spawn we were killing everything from Traks lair to the juggs room. This essence spawned by Tolapumj's spawn point at one of the three jugg spawn points by him. This spawn was a static spawn and was not KoS to us. I have seen the one that wandered the myconid cave area that was KoS so I wanted to confirm he has a different spawn point.

From experience I can tell you this, just in case you assumed like I did. The Myconid's WILL Complete Heal this guy! Its horrid, so be prepared to pull him to a place like Jugg's or one where the roamers wont get you. Our group was All in VT-Gear, 2 bards, 1 shaman, 1 Beastlord, 1 cleric, 1 wizard, and 1 Magician. We would have won easy without it, but it wouldve been better to have a better aggro MT, as only me (shaman), the clerics and 2 bards were left at the end. The cleric and I were more enough to handle his Damage, slow only landed Slightly, which is the lowest it goes. Oh yea he also flurries, but not all too often. Hope this info helps!

I'm confirming his location at the zone out. He wanders and didn't agro when we were killing Mushroom heads. He covers a wide area as we moved by and turned some corners and he came floating by. He conned Red at 65 so level seems right and indifferent.

Spawned as a roamer between Ilis jail and shroom zone out.
Quads 800ish, fast though.
ae is indeed Mighty Bellow of Fire. 1500dd and 2.5 second stun. It isn't avoidable using walls or water. Don't expect to resist it.
Killed with 65 war, 65 druid, 65 necro. Necro pulled with slow, reported it as "slightly slowed".
Warrior in full time/god gear, druidbot in bazaar gear, necro in VT/Ele gear.
Was a close thing, but druid didn't have kei, and I got sloppy healing a couple of times and had to use fast heals over KR a couple of times.
Fight lasted 3 minutes 10 seconds, (defensive, then it died with a couple of seconds left on riposte disc) with just defensive warrior and necro for dps.

Just killed this guy on Innoruuk.
The AE information is correct. He is completely slowable. Aside from the AE his damage did not seem too great, but I wasn't the one tanking. It was probably a 3 or 4 minute fight with 6 65's. We had more than enough healing with a druid, cleric and shaman.

Been doing this mob with a group of people, so far one has spawned and it's been an hour. Does anyone know the respawn time of this mob by chance?

we just went into the mushroom men part of the zone, after about 20 min clearing he poped, back where we had already cleared. mob was romeing though but pathed right by the first pool. max hit on me 65 war was just over 800 w/o disc. ae hit for a max of 1500 and has a stun with it.

Killed this guy tonight with two druids, a bard, a cleric, a beast and a rogue...all 65 and well geared. Went down without much trouble. He was down in the upper part of the ilis jail, just outside the water tube room. From what I understand he can also pop in place of a Jugg...probably reet as well. 2k fire AE every 60 sec (we only got hit twice I think) and he's resistant to fire...cold lands well. I believe the bard said he hit for like 739 max....someone can correct me if they find out different.
Drops only one essence for the quest. (on a side note...if you do the quest with the essences rather than the real key, your augment is only 15/15/15 rather than 30/30/30)
