This quest begins with Nalla in the Commonlands. She is found at location 190, -3495, 13 (where the desert turns to grass).

You say, 'Hail, Nalla'

Nalla stops sobbing and looks up at you with a tear-streaked face. 'Oh, hello there, stranger,' she says sofly. 'Please forgive me for being in such a state. I have done something terrible, and my [brother] will surely never forgive m-' She breaks off in another sob.

You say, 'Your brother?'

Nalla sighs and wrings her hands. 'My brother Darrin. He's always been so kind to me. He knew I wanted to go out on an adventure, so he loaned me some of his armor and items.' Her lip quivers as though she is going to cry again. 'But I was ambushed by some [orcs] out here and they took it all! I barely got away!' She bursts into tears. 'What will I tell him?'

You say, 'What orcs?'

Nalla sniffles. 'They called themselves the Clan of Grahzkel, though they didn't seem to be too numerous. They laughed and jeered when I got away, saying they'd be back.' Her eyes dart around for a moment, then she sighs. 'I feel so horrible about those items,' she whispers. 'They were special to my brother because they reminded him of his adventures, but they weren't very strong. So the orcs probably just destroyed them. I wish I could replace them, but I don't know where he found them all.' She sobs again.

You say, 'I will help you'

Nalla stares at you. 'You mean it? You would really help me? I'm afraid I would have very little to pay you. Are you certain about this?'

You say, 'I am certain'

Nalla stops sobbing and smiles. 'This is truly kind of you. _____, is it? I never met a _____ so nice as you on my journeys.' She glances around, picks up a large ornate box, and hands it to you. 'This is the box where he kept it all. I think I can remember everything, if you are ready?'

You receive a container called "Darrin's Box".

You say, 'I am ready'

Nalla taps her fingers as she thinks. 'Let me see. Some Dusty Rusted Shackles and Rotbone Sleeves, a Dulled Silver Paineel Earring, a Sebilite Scale Mantle, some Jarsath Scale Boots, a Burnished Wooden Stave, Phase Spider Blood, and... there was one more.' She purses her lips. 'Oh yes! A Centi Longsword.' She shakes her head a bit. 'I wish I could help you with more directions, but I'm afraid he got them all long before I was old enough to go out with him. I hope you can find them all.' She smiles again. 'Good luck! I really can't thank you enough for doing this.'

Your shopping list:

Dusty Rusted Shackles (from golems in Charasis)
Rotbone Sleeves (from skeletons in Charasis)
Dulled Silver Paineel Earring (from undead erudites in the Hole)
Sebilite Scale Mantle (from the froglok ostiary in Sebilis)
Jarsath Scale Boots (from Spectral Turnkey, many PHs in Karnor's Castle basement)
Burnished Wooden Stave (most common from reanimated/undead mobs in Chardok)
Phase Spider Blood (from phase spiders in Dragon Necropolis)
Centi Longsword (from centi in Maiden's Eye and Akheva Ruins)

Combine these items in Darrin's Box to produce "Darrin's Box of Treasures". Hand this to Nalla.

Nalla gasps as she peers inside the box. 'Oh, thank you so much!' she exclaims. 'I don't know how you could have found it all!' Suddenly she drops the chest and screams. 'The orcs! They are back!'

You gain experience!!

Nalla despawns and, for a few minutes, nothing happens. Then "a snarling orc" spawns in her place. He cannot be targetted and despawns after 30 seconds. At this point, "a mean orc" and "a vicious orc" spawn.

The mean orc drops a "Bent Sword" (a 3/27 statless 1HS) along with some platinum.

The vicious orc drops a standard newbie weapon, a Cracked Staff and some coin.

After a bit, "an angry orc" spawns and attacks. He drops "Twisted Armor" (unequipable) and change.

Nothing else happens after a 15 minute period, so it is unknown where it goes from here.
