Last night the Stromm server crashed after I solved the riddles to open the door to the Primals area.
I had already opened the door and was killing one of the 2 usual static mobs right at that entrance when it crashed and when I logged back in I had to re-do half of the riddles.
However, once I opened the door there was an Ukun right at the edge of the pit, see invis of course, which I just managed to drag to the Kod'Taz zoneline and kill.
I've camped there often, far too often if you ask me - damn BiC drops /grumble, and have never seen anything other than spiders, beetles or lizards in that area.
When it respawned, it respawned as a Noc where those type of mobs usually hang out.
Wondering if it was a stray that got plunked into an unusual spot due to the server reset or if it is normal to have a rare Ukun, Noc, Mastrug or Kyv in that area?
Good thing I got booted back to doing the riddles when the server crashed instead of where I'd been fighting, the Ukun would have slaughtered me before I could gain control of my character, gotta love that free 30 seconds the mobs have to beat on you as you're logging in >.< /hate

Yxtta is a temple area where a group of natives known as "The Trusik" worship Trushar, who is thought to be a false god centered around a belief in natural destruction. In the southeastern part of Yxtta is a large network of caverns, home to the Primal beasts (for information about unlocking the "door" to these caverns, click here). Beneath Yxtta is an underground temple called Uqua, where a secret ritual of some sort is taking place. Level 60 is required to enter the zone. |

this reminds me to start up guild events for GoD access, this looks really hard to do i dont know how complicated this flagging gets

I went here to trigger the alt qvic access part and couldn't figure out the idols. i clicked them and got it wrong everytime. the red text for question was 6 befor noon. I would say thats 6 so i tried the 6th idol and the 6th temple with no luck.

do you need another quest (in addition to tipt trial for kod'taz access) to go in to yxtta?

in order to get to the Primal areas u need to answer the riddles. u start the riddles by entering one of the 6 mini temples surrounding the golem ring and clicking the left stuette. u then get a riddle in red and the answer to the riddle is one of the other 5 temples. my question is how do u know which temple is the answer when the temples are in no way marked?

I used to solo in Vxed. But never again, ‘cause now I found the Reptile pit in Yxtta and it is Hot Chocolate!
If you zone in on the left side (Primal Side), you are facing a plaza with golems everywhere and three temples on your left, three on your right. Each temple has two “idols” which you click on to touch. The leftmost temple has idols 1 and 2, and then they count around, clockwise, left to right. There is a delay of about 90 seconds or so between when you can touch idols, three mistakes brings out the death squad so after two, leave.
The riddles themselves are strange; I believe there are three different themes and if you solve the theme you are done.
All mobs but named are rootable, snareable and don’t summon.
Warming: These mobs will one-time just about any kiting class. They stun more than Max AA warrior and can run rather fast, but the reward is exp on par with Fire.

Alot of people on my server who have progressed thru GoD at all like to group in KT. I have yet to hear anyone ask for a Yxtta group. Is this a zone thats jus to ruff to single group in ? Or is it just not well known yet ?
Anyone know how to get to this zone? I been looking and lookin and nothing

You need to be Flagged for Kod'Taz.. then there are 2 entrances( East and West) to Yxtta at the very southern end of Kod Taz
