Either bring a pet or a merc tank. when you get mezed for 40 sc the pet or merc will keep her agroed
See subject. I was level 100 when running around, doing old quests, when I happened upon this target and got charmed 3 time5 times. You gotta kill it before it charms you. Or have a pet, I guess.

Molo'd 85 mage an tier 2 healer merc. Only took about 70% mana, used air pet and rumbling servant. Malo was resisted enough that I just quit casting it. Resisted Fire / Magic nukes 90% of the time. Problem came at the end of the fight, she charmed me when she had 1% life left, pet killed her while I was still charmed and her body poofed. Ended up getting BiC page for my little 65 Necro off a trash Mastrug anyway so all is well that ends well. A lot of people have mentioned her summoning adds, all I had to deal with was one set of the normal ukun pets most Ikaav tend to summon, they died to ds and were a non-factor.

Solo'd as a 95 Necro. Used my pet to tank and chain casted pet rune/skeleton swarm to dps her down while remaining FD when I wasn't casting to avoid the charm.

Is it best to go in with a 'dummy tank'? Maybe a Knight, as Mob will charm 1st agro?

would love some more info on it,seems once tanks charmed she wipes out healers/casters there must be a easier way to win this??
How many tanks did your raid have? We usually did this if we were short having enough for Uqua, so 4-5 groups; that meant that there was always a few tanks uncharmed and able to keep aggro. You can't go into this fight with an MA and an SA and no other tank classes and expect to win (not saying you *did* this, mind you). Because of the utter chaos of this fight and the unbuffed tanks, you need to be reasonably geared. As is usual in these sorts of things, MGB healing helps some.
Hmm no strat again, I cant see how you can win against something that casts unresistable charm and unresistable debuffs. Oh yes and summoning friends with massive regen.
Our strat, basically, was "Get Her!" :). Clerics stayed near the middle of the room to /assist heal with reduced range. Chanters tried to lock down adds. DoTs and debuffs on her get dispelled within a few ticks, so folks were mostly nuking. She doesn't seem to charm more than a few folks at any given time; the real bear is that after the charm wears off, you are down a significant amount of mana and buffs from the procced Balance of the Nameless.
As for the debuffs, well, you just fight with them on you. Most Time guilds are used to doing that off and on. Just wait until you get to play in Uqua :).

She will cast the debuff Balance of the Nameless on herself AND on her charmed PCs.
She procs 4 wards as well: Ward of Degeneration, Ward of the Weak, Ward of Confrontation, Ward of the Feebleminded.
She also seems to summon nearby MOBs to assist.

We did her yesterday and she conned even to me at 70
She also procs this. And yes, this means she has two forms of charm; I had both hit me while fighting her...
She is a 3 day spawn really close to entrence of yxtta west. She procs her charm a lot. Worst part of fight though is her regen. Have seen seen raid wipe on her because by time she was at 10% only 13 left alive and she regened faster then those 13 could take her down.
also drops Bone cast rod 19/18 2 magic damage serpent bite 100hp lifetap

Been clicking on the link an still cannot figue out where this zone is. I meen what zones are nere this zone.
To get to Yxtta, you need to travel all the way through the Kod`Taz zone. Kod'Taz is in the NW of Natimbi. You need to have the proper flags to enter Kod`Taz.
