Netherbian Lair

Good post below about the fungus guys. I however spent this aftenoon in the Netherbian Caverns, grouped with a 21 ranger and a 30 cleric (I am a 29 monk)...

Let me just say that EXP here for our group beats LoIO hands down. the monsters are easy and drop as much as 4pp each. from what I've seen so far...

Netherbian Drones: The weak monsters, some were green at 29. I would say level 18 or 19 to level 23 for these.

Netherbian warriors: all of these were blue at level 29, and a fair deal more dificult (in terms of HP and thier ability to hit). Guessing level 24-27 or so

Netherbian Swarmcaller: I thought these would be casters but they are only pure melee. they often will drop a claw weapon that is 8/25 piercing with a few stats, which is war rng rog and bst I think.

The Swarm Leader: Killed this guy many times, he is level 29 (always conned even to me) hits for 54 max, and sometimes double attacks/bashes. He always drops a chest piece that is 20ac 10sv fire 2str and useable by plate classes (war pal sk clr bard) and all races.

Before the cleric joined us, the 21 ranger just waited outside of the cavern and I chain pulled warriors and drones. I tanked, and dont have very good equipment but my defense skill is maxed, so I was at about 640ac. With mend and the occasional bind wound we did't ever have to stop to heal. Got a whole level and dinged to 30 (yay flying kick, resistant discipline, and 16.9 wt cap!)

All in all a great place, good money, decent loot, a lot of fun, and easy to get to. simply go north from the Nexus and you are there :)
