you can only use one +stats item at a time because it works like this.. ...no matter where in your inventory it is, it'll work as long as it's "next" to be eaten. as long as there is no food in front of it anywhere it'll work. I like to keep my catnip in front of my food, then my food, then a bunch of other catnip behind that (in case i ***** up and eat it) ... i munch the other food every once in a while to make sure i'm stuffed and can't eat anymore...
Hi, As an experienced baker I run into the question of, "To eat or not to eat" daily. If you want the stats that skill modifying baked goods affords you, the item, meat usually, is to be kept in your top left pack, in your first top left slot.
This will enhance that skill that the baked goods offers to you. Now. the trick is to NOT eat the meat. So what you do, is as you forage, or if you are a non foraging class, as you travel, you periodically eat something else until it says, "You could not possibly eat anymore..." This will prevent the normal consumption of the item in your first/top/left/pack/slot. See?
I'm not quite sure I understand this item. Does it give you +2 Wis just for having it in your inventory? Or, is it perm +2 Wis when you eat it? Or, is it temp +2 Wis when you eat it?
You don't have to eat Wisdom Food to get the +wis bonus, just have them in the first slot in your first bag, or anywhere they would be the first naturally eaten food.
Then make sure you force yourself to eat enough that you never naturally eat the +Wis food and you'll have + wis for as long as you remember to force feed yourself.
Another +2 wis food option (also +2agi) is Smoked Woodelf...Woodelf parts(best to get from Wood Elf bandits) and spices with a smoker in an oven.
For higher levels, Pickled Drake. (+2 wis/int) Drake meat (from cobalt drakes in Cobalt Scar, don't know about other drakes), Seaweed Vinegar, and Oyster Sauces (Othimir merchant in CS) in an oven.
Not as much wis as the Catnip, but hella easier. also easier than foraging quest.
If you want wisdom food, do the kejek catnip quest in stonebrunt.
go to ocean of tears and forage 3 mar cherries, go to gfay and kill one brownie and get a brownie parts. Find your local master baker and have him/her make Chocolate Marr Cherries(3 foraged Marr cherries, winter chocolate in mixing bowl snack; CHA 3; wt 0.6; yield 6;triv >120 <=135) Give them to Miranda, located at about 1170, -480 in Stonebrunt Mountains, just south of the campfire in the Kejekan village. the reward is pouch of kejek catnip, a +5 wisdom food.
Not stunning but bonus wisdom and long duration.. perfect for wisdom hybrids and non forage types cos they can never eat anything anyway unless they silly and dont forage
