Surprisingly this neanderthal happened to not drop anything but the last Words I needed for my last level 20 spell.

As noted, he is a caster..., he seems to have less hp than that of a regular troglodyte and contrary to the post below mine, he definately hit less times (dont think he doubled all through the fight) and for a lot less damage, the most melee damage I took from him was 48 points and that was when pulling him. He certainly likes to cast Tainted Breath and Walking Sleep, he also occasionally pulls off a Malise which lowers resists a considerable amount. He did not cast any DD's or Roots on me but toward the end of the fight he got in a Healing. In conclusion, he is an easier fight than the regs or bulls, only longer.

This isn't a ph for the trog king. He is just an uncommon spawn that tends to wander the trog tunnel area.

He hits harder than the bull or trogladyte, though my 26 mage can solo him one vs me and pet. He casts some sort of drowsy spell, malise, and root, so look out. Should note that my pet got rocked by these spells, but 75% of the time i would resist them, until he malised me then i was open target.

This guy is basically a trog bull with slightly higher hp and casts.
Not really worth the extra effort it takes to kill, just go for the bull and the trogladyte i say.
