Killed him and everything in his room. 80 cleric and 80 warrior(20.5, 3400ac 2k aa). Cleared some baby dragons out before engaging. Ran into the room, got him plus all of the other lesser named drakes. Fight lasted a little longer then I expected;he had a decent number of hp(no parse). Periodically baby critters aggroed me but it was a minor annoyance at most. Switched between hot and promised renewel to keep things from getting boring. He dropped 2 bracers,nothing else.<bleh>.

Pulled this guy to zone in with a bard and tanked em np with my lvl 70 13k hp 2300+ac pally with one undergeared 65 cleric, an undergeared 65 shaman, the bard, and a warrior and monk all in baz trash gear and we Downed em np. And then I got to loot the arms gloves and 1hs for my 47 war because everybody else wanted other stuff that didnt drop woot!
The sk wont have a problem with this, I am assuming that with your hp and ac that you are active and have all the appropriate defensive aa's. We pulled ikatar and doz to zone that day too and I dont remember if it was Eeshan who proced thunderblast or not. I am pretty sure it was this guy tho, and if your dps is light then thunderblast might hit. It hit me with max resists (wtf) and over time its manadrain is noticable so this will hurt your taps ect, but only if the fight stretches on for awhile.

He's really not hard for about 3 groups with 60+ average. You have three options of fight spots. You can pull his guards and the chickens clear (pet pull, FD pull, what have you just pull em) and then fight him out on the steps at the door before his room. (put casters on either side of the staircase to avoid the AE if you wish) Be wary that you should clear the Ikitar the Venom room before doing this as they tend to add. Second option is pulling the hall clear and then fighting him in his spot. If you have a bit of overkill you can have the MT and cleric chain on him while the rest of the raid offtanks and kills his guards (don't have to bother pulling that way). Third option is pulling him up the ramp opposite his spawn and fighting him up there to avoid the chickens as they respawn. Any of these are pretty quick and easy, he doesn't hit very hard. We use a 3 healer chain with a 7K (unbuffed) tank.
would this guy be 1 groupable with a 8.2k hp, 2kac unbuffed 70 SK, a 6.5k hit 66 war, a cleric, druid, ench and misc dps? i want to farm his mask/ring and hardly anyone from my server farms tov anymore

This mob is easy to kill like Ikatiar the Venom.
With 3 groupes of 60+, it was overkill :)
Tactics was to clean its guards then kill it.
It quads for 700ish and aoe for 400 or so.
But you will resist most of its aoe like wurms in HoT so dont worry :)
Get a good tank and it will works ;)

(I'm not going to argue about how loot is handled by different guilds but...) Bracelet and Ring of the Sky are reasonable INT caster items. Twisted Steel Gauntlets might be fun if you want to be one of those INT casters with 1400 AC ;)

Have a cleric/shadowknight/necro/pally use DA/HS pull him to the hub, get a coh. Have a monk waiting to tag. Since he his faster then his guards you should get a single.

Instead, get about 4 lvl 60 groups (which is wut it takes to get this guy down, and get deep in ToV, and hunt down Vulak'Aerr - he is lvl 75 but hits like a sissy. He drops the best loot known in the game, including th emost coveted 2hs in the game - the Pallidius Axe of Slaughter. He also drops tons of no drop all classes uber gear, with more stats than you'll ever see. This Eashen dude is too hard and the loot honetsly sux compared the Vulak. Yes Vulak has more hp's than 30 200 sta lvl 60 warriors put together, and it took us 20 minutes to take him down, but with 4 healers, some warriors, and a few wizzards, its all worth it. Well sorry for the long post =p have fun

Vulak only summons named dragons from the north wing, not all mobs and as of a few months ago you have to do a ring type event just to get him to spawn.

Would kinda suck if you just skipped Eashen and went right to Vulak right? Didnt Vulak summon all named dragons to his side much like Cazic does in PoF once you ingage him? And is Vulak even up anymore? Dunno for sure but I have heard you have to do something to make him spawn now. Sorry if I got anything wrong with what I said...dont know all the details of it, we are making our way into NToV now :)

Ganlaan, Vulak summons all enemies (not just dragons) after the new path, and like before the patch, he also summons 4 dragons in the 4 surrounding areas. For one to take out Vulak, you have to kill the 3 rooms of mobs BEFORE Vulak, the four surrounding dragon rooms, and then ingage combat. It is better to secure the room you hit first (because of the spawn rate time, rather than your recent kill - i.e., 4 dragon guards) to make sure Vulak doesnt have help. Eashen has never been in this battle when I fought Vulak'Aerr, and only once out of the four times I did, did we have problems with the guards or mobs, after which we secured ALL ROOMS, though the guards we killed last never popped until after about a half an hour of our Vulak camp. Sorry for ALL the confusion, happy hunting all.

Is this mob in North ToV or East ToV, i know he cant be in Halls of testing because he has a CoV faction hit. If anyone knows can you email or post it here. My email is Ice_man69_2000@hotmail.com Thx
He is in North ToV, the second named mob in that part of ToV. Can be hard to pull if stuff is in the way, and you might have to kill some Rampaging mobs to get him out alone. Takes 2 monks. Adds = Death on this mob.
Quads for 750, aoe for 400 or so. Can be a real hard fight...
We pull him to the lower level under the Hub in the halls (outside HoT, WToV area) and fight in one of the rooms there.

Could you please detail how to pull him safely, we tried monk/cleric/chanter pulls and none worked very well.

I was involved on an Eashen raid, we downed him, it was a close battle, and our fourth attempt, but we got him, only about 10/60 people lived. Here's the notes I took right after he died.

THIS WEAPON IS AWESOME I only know of 3 peeps on my server with it they said it drops from this guy but not sure its stats are as follows.

10 STR 10 DEX and it has a 25 dmg bonus its incredibily hard ot obtain and one person told me they hit for 308 in a single swipe. 2hs btw

This is also Warrior only... I haven't seen one but a warrior on my server (Mith Marr) landed a crippling blow for over 1800 with this little beauty =)
(Im guessing he was frenzied with str buffs and using Fellstrike disc at the time)
This is 1 of the 2 most damaging weapons in EQ... the other is Great Spear of Dawn (53/46 15str 15sta 15svm eff: dawncall (undead dot) Pal / SK only)
People who have primal 2hders can really kick some *** with this by switching weapons over to get the proc =)
