Exactly how uber is uber enough? And besides, is there a better time to work on all the tradeskills you never had the cash to mess with? While it's true that you're probably not saving up cash for sky or hate stones, neither are you most likely scrounging for dots. Once you're "uber enough," it's a safe assumption that your guild is also "uber enough" to keep a large stash of all those wacky supplies in the guild bank.
Sometimes i just wish VI would solve the arguments that we all know are going to happen by making several identicle items which the only idfference between is which class can use and have one or 2 of those drop in place of these.
It would save so many arguments.
But then again wouldn't that mean VI would actually have to think for themselves what a good items fo a given class is?
This isn't a warrior item. By the time you fight in north wing ToV the warriors already have access to Warlord armor (25 ac on bracer if I remember correctly), so chances are this would go to a ranger/paladin/sk/rogue... and not monks (8 weight :P).
If I every get this high I hope that a guild would be smart enough to give it to a shammie. All of our good attack spells are affliction based debuffs, roots, and dots. Don't you think being able to cast them faster might save somebody's life in the guild? I would agree that sk should be allowed in on the roll as they have affliction spells as well. but to give it to a ranger paladin or a rogue just seems silly. I would think a necro would want this but what would they need the ac for? Most necros aren't attacking the mob and casting at the same time as i often find myself doing. This tends to **** mobs off and the ac would help as well as the affliction haste, because i would have a less chance of being interrupted. Any shammies out there agree with me on this? Maybe I'm too young to know what I'm talking about but it just makes sense to me.
Its odd how many uber items are coming out that are All/All or close to it.
Can you imagine some of the squabbling over these never before seen items? Even in the organized guilds, I bet there's some sore egos when item loot time comes out. Hehehe
According to all the new ToV items VI wants to see ToV farmed by guilds so to speak as cruel revenge for dragons and there left claws having a higher IQ than them

He's saying that the GUILD can farm the items and when the monster is killed over and over, a person in the guild who is present at the death of the creature can loot the item. They then repeat the process till everyone who wants one, has one.
Sure you can. You just keep giving stuff to guildies that don't have it yet. Sure you can't sell it, but once you are uber you don't need cash for anything except the following...
1) Food & Water (not always even) 2) Hate Stones 3) Sky Stones 4) Tradeskills

And if ANYONE brought a fewakin' lowbie anywhere within 10 miles of ToV before they were level 55 DESERVES to get run over by the mobs in the area.
