I am sick and tired of looking at items and to have the entire forum nothing but a waste of space with all the arguing over "what class" gets a particular item. ***** the arguing people, argue with your guildleaders over who gets what loot. These forums could be so much more productive if you posted........useful info about the mobs that drop these uber items. Damned monks anyway starting "looks like a monk iteem"
Aren't most guilds that are in NToV doing DKP anyway? Arguing over who gets an item seems outdated. The person who gets the item is the one with the most DKP who is willing to spend some on the item. Period. DKP was invented with the intention of eliminating these noisy and pointless loot discussions.
This item is generally not warrior first despite the arguments made that it should be. There are alot of classes that value hp above all at this stage in the game, not just warriors. Warriors, monks, shaman, paladins, shadowknights, necromancers, rogues, and rangers would all aspire for this item. There are quite a few rings out there now with alot of HP and Sta. I personally would not spend 16 raid credits on it for my shaman required in my guild.

Don't forget enchanters. Keeping your enchanters alive long enough to cast more runes or to get off the cripple could mean the success of a close encounter.

Not as simple as that, I'm afraid. We've never killed this guy and I'm maxed on STA. There are plenty of Warriors who wouldn't bother with this. I'm not gonna give up the resists on my ring for another 20 or so HPs. It's not worth it. The STA isn't worthwhile for me because with shammie buffs I'm over max already so it's wasted 95% of the time.

As a 60 rogue this gives me 6 ac and 65 hp over the 6/65 ring I used to wear. Hp which helps me stay alive longer dealing the damage I do. but that's not a real reason why warriors may not get this ring. The real reason is that if your guild is killing Ntov dragons (or in this case psuedo-Ntov) there are ring better suited to warrior. Rings with 30ac rings with 10 ac and Stats and Resists. and for a warrior one of the hardest things to do is get decent resists without nuking his ac. an extra 90 hp simply won't make much a difference when he's being CH'd before his health ever drops below 3 bubbles. Granted warriors should have high hit points, but more than that they should have high ac, and as high resists as they can manage, something this ring does not provide.
Zyke you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. At the high lvl game for warriors HP's are EVERYTHING. AC is maxed very easily, Resists are high enough...it all comes down to HP. The best tanks in the best guilds have 100hp items in every slot...why....becauce HP are king. In the end game mobs are hitting for upwards of 1500 a shot..quadding hitting for that. Maximizing hp's is the only thing that makes these mobs possible.
haha you guys ever go back and read some posts from like 02 like this one where it says "In the end game mobs are hitting for upwards of 1500 a shot" its just so funny to see that to me :P now adays you WISH just yard trash was hitting for that haha. Its great I never got to tank anything in tov as a ranger when it was "uber" now i ***** slap the whole got damn place....change, is our...friend haha
I agree with the thing of getting resists up without nuking AC, I am a 60 warrior and the secondary tank of my Guild. getting
I disagree with AC > HP- I rate both things equal, 1500ac doesnt help you much when you just have 5300 HP fully buffed. ATM I am pretty much done with my gear, I got Full Kael quest armor but BP (Berserker) and no real newbie crap but Rings (6ac65hp) and earrings ( cougarclaw), weapons are epics (upgrading will be hard as warders are all dead, I dont want to upgrade anyways I love my epics)
Jarnin, agility increases AC, stamina increases maximum hit points, and makes the yellow bar drop slower when swinging weapons which keeps the melee fighters from hitting like oom enchanters.
As long as you have 100 Stamina you'll be fine. The only effect that is noticable with oos ( out of Stamina ) is you will run slower. I have been in 10 minute long battles with mob bosses up in the PoG and was oos for 7+ minutes and I could tell no difference. I have also seen it writen too many times.
ermm.....stamina doesn't make AC....sta makes hps...agi makes AC. So its more of a 10ac 105-110hp ring. And even if it were agi on it it woldn't work that way...it would use the base 10ac add that then add ac from agi...which would be maybe 2visible ac. but it is sta not agi on it.
seriously the stats are wonderful for tanks that need hps for those long battles, but come on guys, work on the graphics for the new items....dont get lazy now.

Kinda like Lambent armor looks the same color as any other armor in inventory (silver), this ring looks just like any other light-blue ring. I don't have much patience for people who speak this rudely when they don't even understand the question. However, I will let this one slip. :)
