He seems to be very concerned that you not actually kill them yourself, as he could never play a part of their suffering. In addition, he has requested you collect an undamaged animal organ so he may further his research on this plague.

Tabron seems pained by the obvious weapon damage on some of the infected organs, but makes no mention of it.

Edit: to get an undamaged organ, you have to target "a diseased xxx corpse" and /open to be able to loot
