I've been camping inside the glacier yeti caves peacefully for a couple of days now. All of the sudden out of the blue, i get:

What's the story behind this mob?
Guessing Gore's spawn time is still 7 days unless someone knows different.
Don't quote me as gospel but tonite is now the third spawn in a row I have seen and they were all 3 days apart. Tuesday evening, Friday evening and again Monday evening (tonite).

On my level 35 Ranger I had 3 druids with me bored stiff on Lanys server killing blues and yellow Yeti and giants, one of the lower level druids was in wolf form, we all checked Gor before going in and she was non kos to us, then when I went afk for a bio I come back and had a AOE and one of the druids dead...her spawn time is about 3 days to 4 days from what I've seen of her.
I have soloed Gore, Talendor, Severilous, and Woushi many times....it all depends on your gear and aa abilities...All you have to know is how to play your character, the dragons weaknesses ie (fire based for Gore) and have the appropriate aa and gear. A little over a year ago these dragons were raid material, now they are commonly soloed by various classes on all servers..Yes, you need super high hps (elemental and pot gear) and you need many aa..but those are the hard parts, not actually soloing the mob. When im done with Gore i have over 70% health.

What strategy do you use for soloing Gore? I'm guessing that you maxed MR, CR, and HP and then agro kite?

For druids, Pot9, Resists, then Damage Shield yourself to the highest possible extent lol, then you pull her to wherever you feel best, zone in for BW(i think its BW, been a while)works. Then from there just let Gore attack you getting hit from the DS. Heal yourself when needed, nuke, dot, whatever works for you.

Did gore, serv, talendor today with 3 people, 65 Bard, 65 Monk, 65 cleric, was an easy fight, none of her spells landed once, 500 sv all is nice ). Between the 3 around 15ish spells droped, avg of 5 per dragon, the horn droped all 3 times, scales off all 3 dragons, book off gore, wt. reducing pack off gore, a few other items that I cannont remember, didn't drop any decent spells (.

Gore can be single grouped pretty easily.
She's basically the same as fighting Vox, 32K hitpoints, and a similar regen.

Took Gore out with i think 5 groups average raid lvl was 58...3 deaths i think, 3 fears landed, 7 spells and 2 bracers dropped along with white dragon scales. 32k hp i heard, not sure cuz he went down in less than 10 minutes. All in all it was pretty easy. One of my stuns landed i casted about 5.

He is also uber twinked, and had a 52 shammy behind him who I'm sure did backup heals and helped slowed naggy or else he wouldn't have been able to "solo" him. I don't know either of thier magelo profile links however.

The only thing the shaman did was make the potions. I haven't tried personally, but I've heard that slowing naggy or vox is an exercise in futility. I mentioned it on the shaman boards and got several replies saying that while it's possible to slow them, it's way too hard to even bother trying. They resist it like 95% or something. Only 1 of the shammies there had managed to land a slow.
I also kind of doubt that shaman was only 52. That is definitely an "uber guild" and they usually don't let anyone below 60 or 65 in. That one 52 monk was probably a pet project just for the nag/vox thing. But mostly I'm lead to believe he's higher than 52 because there's no one else in that video, and I don't see 2 lvl 52s getting through that dungeon easily. At least not without sucking down a bunch of those precious potions, which would be a big no-no.

The shaman did heal himself only a few times, and that was because of the AoE's. Its very clearly shown that Tecknoe was not assisted in anyway. He may have been buffed though.

I don't see why Gore cannot be soloed, Vox has been soloed by a 52 Monk, so why shouldn't a say, level 65 something be able to do the same here...

65 paladin here, soloed gore today. Self buffs. her slow is what probably stops most melees from killing her, keep the first slot or two open and dispell yourself if you dont resist it. My cr is only in the 300s i think and i got hit once by it.

ths isnt entirely correct; bards had 3 targetable dots at their disposal pre-PoP. and if so then Gore wouldnt need dmg-aggro to jump the bard, it couldve simply been the bard's natural -RoS aggro.
so its enitrely possible that this story was true.

Solo'ing Gore is not that far fetched anymore. I haven't personally done it, but I know Woushi was soloed by a 65 chanter, (ofcourse he charmed Rolandal-lvl 60 dragon) to do so. Shammies have been solo'ing Lodizal for quite a while now, before PoP. Some logs would be nice, but a person solo'ing Gore is not out of the question.

a full time geared paladin, self buffed only, can solo gorenaire. While beta testing ldon I got bored and took my paladin (outfitted with full time gear-- not my normal gear, got it to help with a time++ level raid test.) and went to DL. found gorenaire, and killed her. She ched once. ended with 65health and 60m. lay hands (aaed to complete heal me) and the other aa heal were both used. all aas except some resist/stat ones. if a time geared pally can solo gore with that much health remaining, its not TOO far fetched that a wizzy or bard can solo her without time gear. here is a link to a log of it. http://pub148.ezboard.com/fpaladinsofnorrathgeneral.showMessage?topicID=18733.topic . the log was started when she was about 65% (which of course I will be flamed on because there are so many nubis that post here ;-/.) if I find her up before beta ends again I will re-solo her, and log the whole fight.

Talked to a couple of the high shammys on Sol Ro and they claim to have soloed this dragon ( Talendor also ). Can it be done you figure if the sham has all POP spells and better than average equipment?
I have soloed some easier stuff like the wussy dragons in WW and some (3) guardian wurms (lvl 60 ones)in Skyfire. How much harder is this big bastage?
With Virtue I am looking at around 4600 hp 4200 mana pool with KEI and 1100 ish ac. Resists in ice and magic both over 200 with use of shammy potions.
P.S. Please dont reply unless you actually have some first hand knowledge. The last thing I want is some idiot flaming me over what is in fact a reasonable inquiry.

dont know about sks, but a full time paladin has 11291 hp fully buffed, 10400hp selfbuffed, and 10200 hp buffed with a potime clicky hp swapped for a clicky resist buff. gorenaire is soloable.

This Blue devil really really does not like wolfform. I had the honor of meeting this creature out side of the DL valley and thought it was just going to go bye...I was a wolf. It hit me once and took me 6 months to grow back my hair... Well after I got my body back

I can attest to this as well. I was on my way to Burning Wood from the Druid Port and got zombie stomped by her. I didn't even get a look at her---chat window went red and then:
