I am a PBAE kiter, i at level 51 use a combination of DDD and the Selos ae song, from level 25 to 50 i have pbae kited, gained 25 levels in roughly a week and a half so as for what does anyone use brass for well this is it. for a guide on pbae kites and how / where i do them check out http://eqbards.battleguild.com/enigma/index.php

Posted: Jun 10 2002 at 12:14 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) u guys are all stupid most the naggy/vox raids are pickup raid guilds dont usually do them because its kinda hard to get enough people outta one guild below lvl 52 to take them down and on a pickup raid most the time its everyone randoms on the loot besides for epic loot and even if a guild was to get enough people it would probly be a newbie guild trying and they wouldnt have the higher lvl people to buff them and therefore they would get whiped out so my thoughts could care less if you flame me

Stupid is thinking you need higher level players to buff you to kill naggy or vox if you stock the raid with all level 48-52 characters you have all the spells to kill either dragon and if you stick to all 52's then you can do naggy with as little as 3 groups ,however 4-5 groups seems to be the standard amount people take on a pickup raid.
You only need 12 people to Kill Naggy... 3 clerics, 1 enchanter, 2 bards, 2 rogues, 2 warriors, 1 sk, 1pally is a good combo or replace one of the Bards with a Nuker if you wish... Anyway this is the group I had and none of us was super equiped... Oh, we did happen to have a lvl 65 cleric and Shaman buff us, but thats it... MGBV and MGBF plus Haste and so forth so on... Lost one cleric and all rest lived... Took about 2min to kill him... the 2 Rogues make a big difference with there insance DPS the Pally starts out tanking because of LoH One cleric plays group heal and other 2 clerics chain heal the MT.

Cursed Brotherhood on Tarew Marr rapes Nag and Vox all the time, and they also have level 60's sooo.......
my beasts guild has decided to split itself into two parts peeps below 52 and then those above, with a officer at each level. think this is a great idea coz then we got loads of 60+ people on but also the lower people can still do raids like this.
that way you got buffs from high end chars but still a decent guild for fun, frolics and exp

I was using a reg brass horn in cs to fear and berzerker for a small group we cut down cobalt drakes, bullthorks and wyverns often without getting scratched. bolth songs are brass instrements and twisting in psam of warmth,manna or whatever to get the job done. Whent on a vox raid right after, but it snafued when the Lady decided to take a walk to bind rock.(wonder how that happened) anyway i want one and that's what i would use it for :) Good luck

OK i got this horn tonight from Lady Vox. Before today i cant think of even one time where i have used a brass instrument. The songs up to my lv (51) which uses Brass are:
Denons Disruptive Discord. AE lv18 DoT+lower AC
Angstlichs Appaling Screech. AE Fear
Denons Dissension. AE Manadrain
Offcourse the horn will add the 15% of effect to the songs, but when u use these songs?
Fear I really use a lot, but when u fear something, I allways melee too, and horn can not be equipped.
I never use the other songs. Mana-drain is waste of time for NPCs, and on Sullon Sek ur lucky if u can drain anything before ur dead in PVP. Drain is for 20 to 25 points without horn and when will that small amount ever come in handy?
The AE dot is 20 to 30 hp a tick. I never use cause of AE. when do a bard want aggro from a mob? In lv 51 when u are able to get this horn, a bard is not the one to pick up aggro. And again i would say that on a single mob, Melee would do more damage than this song.
Please if any have advice for using Brass instruments either in PVP or not, plz reply. I have a hard time to decide if i ever gonna use this Very rare and pricy Horn. Stats are nice tho.

Level 60 dot is brass...level 57 haste/attack/DS is brass as well not to mention the line or ervaj's...I could see using this if it's able to be used while wielding a weapon. A rondo/warsong type twist would be good while using this, and if mana wasn't an issue, twist in a ervaj's line...provided you have an anchanter or shammie's haste on everyone beforehand. You'd be adding 35% more haste on top of enchanter/shammy haste plus a nice DS and str/attack. I'd like to have one for that or just when im playing around with HG's....assonance/fear/(swap to drum)cofrost/coflame/fufills/fear/cofrost/coflame/fufills...they drop VERY fast this way. It's a fun lil instrument.

naggys easier than vox very easily done with 4groups 45plus and half another group, was my first dragon raid, i was the lowest level 44 didnt even die )

Naggy's easier to kill, but Vox is easier to get to. The fire giants are icky.

This sucks i think. Well it doesn't SUCK, but it isn't worth too much. I mean, you don't use brass often at all. I'm a 44 Bard and i never use my brass. Soo yeah, its not that great of an item.
If your on a Vox raid and you win this baby, don't sell it, twink yourself out with a new bard or give it to some guildies bard. Great way to make friends in a guild, or to spoil yourself rotten. My 2cp worth, good luck in your travels all!

I just got one Friday the 20th on the Zeb server. I wouldnt part with this thing for all the plat in the game...

Priceless...I would say they drop pretty rare I just got one on Karana this evening I wouldnt sell it

I got one given to me by a guy that was sick of trying to sell it. It sits in my weapon/instrument pack never gettting used. Does anyone ever use brass?
