Got this off of Centaurs in S Karana
Please please do NOT buy ringmail! mages need it for concordance research and it can never be found once spotted at a merchant! Why? to attempt to increase research skills, say 5 points? you need 10 NON-STACKABLE items as well as gems, and 5 non-stackable parchement, and even then only for the beza runes (combined with azia to make one rune and increase research skill) Dont wear it, dont buy it, but sell it to merchants whenever you can! Smithed armor is better, and cheaper! chainmail is better! it is so hard to find and almost impossible to track down if you already have 5 of the first ingredients for beza runes!

Got this by turning in molars from the Warrens in Erudin. Got several pieces of chain this way. A nice way to get some decent armor, if you don't have the money.
