Gyrospire Zeka is the newest of Meldrath's towers and is reachable only by a catapult machine in Fortress Mechanotus. A contrast to its counterpart, Zeka is void of living creatures and is run entirely by clockworks and steamworks. The captain of the tower, a steamwork, has such a hatred for anything living that it has systematically killed everything from Meldrath's gnomes to the rats in the walls. Navigation of Zeka generally proves a more difficult challenge than Beza.

Ran up to Mechanotus, but couldn't use find to take me to zone in. Ran around for a spell, but figured I was losing all my buffage wasting time, so returned back to GL.

How do you zone into Zeka?

Anyone trying to figure out how to get here, when you first zone into Fortress Mechanotus turn to your left and you should see 2 catapults sitting side by side. The first one is for Gyrospire Zeka, second one is Gyrospire Beza. Click on either one and they will launch you to that zone.

You used to be able to zone into it by clicking on its feet but the last time I tried that it wouldn't work. Let us know if you figure out how.

A new item that our item collector will have to pick up whenever it's fixed.

Bosses

If you're looking for xp, This is the zone to do it.
The zone-in is perfectly set up to single pull and aggro kite. Most of the time you'll barely start clearing the platform before respawns around the edge of the zone start repopping.

If you're looking Zor sellable rares, Go to Beza ; All these drops seem to be NO TRADE
In Gyrospire Beza, the mobs are definitely not set up the same as Zeka and seem to be much more difficult to pull. However, The layout is nearly equaled but in Gyrospire Beza you'll run into a lot more bosses and which all drop rares that you can sell as your Trader

First of all, if you look at the list of mobs in this zone it is not very long. The mobs here are mostly hack and slash and vary only a couple of levels making it a pretty straight forward area to grind. The trash outside is easy, safe and comes in singles or doubles. You can work your way around the island and kill everything outside and never run out of spawns. If you get in trouble, just jump off the island, its as good as camping at the zone line. The downside is that it gets really boring.

As an 85 SK I was hit occasionally for 2700 damage but most of the hits are in the 1600 dmg range. The mobs are not immune to snare, they do not summon when pulled, but I did notice that once at low health with a ton of agro I would occasionally get summoned between 2 mobs I was fighting at the same time if they were too far apart. There is room for kiting once you have cleared a mob or two, but I was not kiting so not sure how well that would work. The xp seemed to move a little slow, but that was coming from a hotzone to this zone just to check it out.

Clearing the first floor of the tower was a whole different story. Everytime I tried to start clearing it I would get 4 mobs all dark blue con (83 or so) on me and without using harm touch, and all of my defensive abilities it was almost impossible to take them out. FD splitting works fine but takes a while and its just quicker to move on to other mobs outside. For classes that dont have feign death, harm touch, or some type of crowd control the tower will be a tough place to solo.

I had a level 100 monk run my rogue through this zone bottom to top and it was a blast. That is what raised my curiosity and made me want to come back with my SK. It only took about 30 minutes to clear the place.

As for loot - you will get a ton of tinkering supplies. Some of which are listed for a lot of money in the bazaar. I have no idea if they sell well, but people definitely want a lot for them. I ended up with bags of tinkering supplies, mechanotablets, and rank II spells, along with other misc items like diamonds. All in all, I gained 20% of a level clearing trash, vendored everything for 15k or so, and probably could have made triple that in the bazaar if things were selling. The mechanotablets dont stack so they fill up your bags fast, but they vendor for 152p or so.

For the old players coming back to the game who have a free level 85 character - this is a good place to solo safely and re-learn your class. And if your skills or your class will allow, you can work your way up through the tower with little to no traffic or other campers. XP will not move like a hotzone, but your not competing for mobs either. I had a lot of fun in this zone, its very safe outside of the tower.
