Is NOT used in Tradeskills anymore. It does not have the tradeskill tag on the item anymore
I'm not sure if this drop is still used in any recipes or not... I found nothing listed for "Fairy Dust" on "EQ Traders Corner"...
Fairly Dust is also required for Darkforge Boots quest.(need 2)

yes, they have a faction.
If you are a Dwarf Cleric, or know someone who is, then grab 4 of the Fairy Dusts. The High Priestess in North Kaladims' Cleric Guild will give you "The Soil of Underfoot" if you give her 4 of the Fairy Dusts.

this is for the scout tunic quest for rogues. Low level quest. lots of high level fairies will gang bang you if you kill enough lower level ones. lvl 9 rogue "LillyThorn"

Used by Pallies to get the soil of the Underfoot, which is used in out Armor of Ro Quests. Need 4 of them and very high faction to get the Soil of the Underfoot.

What drops them?
Faeries (or "fairies") in Greater and Lesser Faydark. It's a fairly common drop off all fairy types I believe (maybe 1 pile of dust in every 4 or 5 kills). By the way, this stuff is also needed for the Shadow Knight Darkforge Boots quest in temple of Solusek Ro.
