Thought it was interesting to note that Karana's gate spell can fail. Second request to 'Send me on my path.' resulted in the gate working.
Missed always something even after killing Agnarr. Now I found out that:

Just soloed him on my 85sk. 960aa, 40k hp buffed, 5.2k ac buffed.
Pulled him up stairs, into room with water. Got self into corner, jumped on mount. Mount allows u to not be spun, get stunned but only for a sec. Plus adds got farther to go to get to you. Anyways, jumped on mount. Used epic 2.0 click, swarm pet aa. HT, clicked Circle of Power 1 from Old Man raid 2h axe, and did all 5 instant dots i had. He was 50% in no time. Kept doin melee. As adds came i would switch my attention to them, throw 3 dots per, and whack on em a few seconds, once low enough would switch back to Agnarr cause they would die from riposte hits. Throw in heal pots as needed, lifetaps, and leechcurse disc as well. Sittin in the corner keeps all the adds from pushing u around. If needed do a quick swap to sword and board for deflection while tappin to full health.
My group beat Emmerik the 2nd tower boss to head to Agnarr. When Askrr appeared he said something about going to the most dangerous level of the tower to face someone who controlled the (Storm). We all used the key word in almost every sentence imaginable but he wouldnt port us up to Agnarr level. Anyone know exactly what to say to him to get ported to this level after defeating Emmerik?
killed him last night on Seventh Hammer i tanked kited him around the room till first giant spawns killed him then raid came to agnarr beat him till next giant spawned want killed him and left 4 grps on agnarr while others were killing giants killed him in about 10 mins total hit me for max of 1463 ramps and enrages alot and hits very fast i think best clip was like 8 hits in a swing averaging out at about 5k hp total but didnt worrie about it had 10 clerics on raid chain healing quick heal on me tanked him with 11.7k hp easy fight once u kill all the adds
Our guild took him down rather flawlessly last nite. About 45 in raid and only ONE wizard. No EP/Time gear or anything like that. Basically had one warrior TM each giant in the first two levels while chanters mezzed or rooted adds. Main raid force took the portals, then the adds, and finally the giant.
For Agnarr we had a tank, cleric and ranger go up first. Ranger kited the Storm Lord around the outside of the lower room and tank got the attention of the giant that spawned. Raid force came up and repeated the steps from below: Portals, adds, giant. Agnarr was then moved into upper room and reversed pin in a corner with 3 groups banging on him while rest of raid handled giants. After last giant down, whole rade force went up and took down Agnarr. Few deaths during the whole fight and only one or two on Agnarrs level. Several new EP flags after this.
for my first tier 3 boss aggy is a bish his spawn time is around 6 days hits for 600-1400(a lil into 1400 so 1500 really) hits fast very fas i'd say 6-10 hits per swing if you want to think of it that way we wasted him every 25% he spawns a giant they attack the trick is to have aggy engaged by thhe MA and have him keep arggo on aggy with like 5+ clerics on cheal chain him using DI and def as much as possable then have rest go kill the giants waste them down have druids heal if yo ugot alot of clerics mabe oen to heal MA on giants once giant is dead have the whole raid force on aggy till next 75 50 or 25 % kill him down then all leave for the giant cept MA and keep repeateing once last igant spawns have a druid orranger kite it around a but and burn aggy away loot em the giants drop unadorned ring of aggy and aggy drops well look up =) after that everyone runs up the stairs in the tower and see karana where you say the words and presto you've completed aggy.
i'd reccomend a tank of 9khp raid buffed or better for aggy and lotsa clerics then i'd say 8k or so or better for giants.

Two nights ago My guild attempted Agnar for the first time on The Nameless Server. The Wizards were assigned specific portals to Disintegrate ahead of time so when we went up, they were taken out immediately. First floor was a piece of cake with 5 wizards looking to use our Seldom used Disintegrate spell. On the Second floor we had to wait for the Tash to hit, and then we were able to take out all but one Portal at the top. After that it was a challenging fight. We almost wiped when a named popped or came through Portal, but we had the secondary Tanks on him and were victorious.
Me and my guild have attempted this guy 3 times since the portals became disintagratable again, and wiped horribly to Agnarr himself. He used to be as easy for us as a 65 wiz solo'ing every mob in crushbone at once. He resists most spells more often (especially snare) and for some odd reason he seems much more powerful... at least on vazaelle anyway.

yep just did first and second floor portals very nice to disintigrate just need tash on em works like a charm =)
edit: first floor all portals disintigratable... second also third floor only two are... also note you must tash them or you will get resist...if you get resist on portal THREE more mobs will pop out and come get you...lol
Did Agnarr tonight. The portals on the 2nd level could NOT be disengrated. I don't know if this is a bug, or the new way this even goes, but beware if you're doing it. I'm on the tribunal, but I asked wizzy's on other servers and they are see the same problem.
Had the same problem , tried last week with guild on first ever agnarr attempt. Got to second stage no problems but with portals un killable. Needless to say we wiped and gave up
Last night we went back , decided to place a group at each portal , offtanking the mobs while the rest of the raid concentrated on named from range attack only.
It worked , but we had about 15 mobs which we had to get through before medding/rezzing and getting to agnarr stage but its till doable. I hope its a bug cos it was damn tough
Altho that night agnarr fell to 54 Pikeys , portals in 3rd stage were destroyable ( Apart from the one that spawns the named) Was a lot of fun
We tried this guy a few days ago for the first time as a guild, and met with a few unexpected surprises that I thought I would mention here, even though we did manage to kill him.
First of all, he has two AEs, not one. One is Rage of the Rainkeeper, as mentioned above. The other is simply called "Manastorm". Note that it is slightly different from the spell Mages get, being that it is more powerful. http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.html?id=1043&source=Live
Recommend that you have a bard playing MR resist song for all healers in the vicinity to avoid the Manastorm AE, because it WILL drain their mana, and the DD effect isn't too pleasant either. MR of around 350+ should resist the AE almost every time.
The second surprise was that the portals that we destroyed at the beginning (courtesy of our Wizards) magically reappeared when Agnarr was down to about 18% health, as well as the elementals that accompany them shortly after.
No one timed it, but I would estimate that the portals respawned 20-30 minutes after they were taken down, so you will need to be brisk with killing Agnarr or be prepared to handle them when the time comes.
Anyone have a good place to go to get game lore? I'd like to know the story between Agnarr and Karana, among other things. Any help would be much appreciated
