A twisting canyon lies beyond the Plane of Nightmares, full of undead horsemen and skeletal knights, and leads to a giant stone henge. This is the home of the Mistress of Nightmares.

Also known as the Dream Scorcher for her effect on the sleep of dreamers, Terris Thule is the master of the subconscious and terrorizes those drawn into her realm as they slumber. She is the daughter of Cazic Thule and sister of Morell-Thule, the Lord of Dreams.

Guarded by a horde of undead, and with gargoyles and swarms of dream defiling wraiths at her disposal, Terris Thule has more than a few tricks up her sleeve to help her deal with those who trespass into her plane.

as a bard, kiting while a cleric HoTd me...
resisted once with fire base dot, half the time with magic, poison/disease *never* landed. very hard to kite with selo's as was too fast. soe was near perfect... too bad druid not flagged *sighs*

immune to:
stun, snare, slow, mez

summon

bards can't charm cuz of level

HUGE aggro radius... i would target from as far away as possible, then hide behind walls to pacify for single pulls.

sustainer = warrior type
sentry = sk/necro and really ***** things up

3 percent aa at 65 with 2, just under 1 percent reg exp
One group in TT

Did this zone today with one group.. 65pally, 65 warrior, 65 chanter, 65shammy, and 64 wizzy...chanter wasnt really a needed class as mez wont work...another dps would be better. Get 2 on most pulls..have each tank get on one...drop main assist mob quick then go to other. Insane xp..mobs hit hard, but dont have as many hp as one would expect...got 4 blues of regular xp in little over an hour.

Zone in is past the hedge. Click on the gate that is between the 2 skeletal guardians. This'll take you to the Lair of Terris Thule

Liar of Terris Thule is also known and PONB. You gain access to this zone by doing the 3 group hedge maze trial triggered by Thelin Poxbourne (something like that).
In a recent patch, they upgraded the amount of exp in this zone and I have heard that it is now similar to elemental exp.

Some things to know about this zone.
The aggro range is ridiculous and often you aggro 2 mobs at once. All mobs are unslowable, unmezzable, uncharmable. The mobs on the horses are snare and rootable. They hit for around 600 and they hit fast. With a monk pulling or with a ranger with extended range 4 item for harmony, you can single pull this zone. You must also travel while killing here as the pulls would become ridiculously long if you don't.
It is true that there is really no reason to come here except with a raid to kill Terris Thule herself, However - with a balanced group of level 65's you can mow thru the zone to TT's dome and get some serious experience doing it.

Hope that was helpful. Oh and on a last note - the little butterfly mobs that are only found close to the TT dome are mezzable and slowable, but you don't see many of them.

This guide is wrong on one EXTREMELY important detail. The location of the butterfly spawn, which is the bane of many raids, is NOT where the little blue dots are; they spawn near the entrance, SE corner of the dome, NOOOOOOT in the back. If you are looking for them there then you won't see the little buggers on the GROUND running around killing all of your casters.

She, like her dear old dad, lacks a mouth... Not really useful discussion, but hey, at least I advertised that I was "just noticing." :P

While chating and scoping out the new areas a fellow mage on the server wide mage channel said after killing a mob he was flagged to enter this zone. He was in PoD at the time and he gave no refrence to the mob. hope this enlightens some.

you kill a mob in disease to get to go in to a tier one zone in nightmare?

Sorry, but I would think you have to kill something in Nightmare to zone in to Terris Thules Lair

Need to complete Thelin's hedge-maze event in Nightmare to become flagged for this zone.

RE: raid zone?
# Oct 24 2002 at 3:41 PM Rating: Decent
It means: When you zone in, you better be ready to take out a lot of mobs with high HP. You better have multiple clerics and enchanters, and a good smattering of damage dealers. Many of the mobs will probably do too much damage too quickly for a single group to take out, or come in numbers that a single group just won't be able to handle.

So you better have a raid force when you zone in.

Then again... Hate is a "raid" zone, yet I've single grouped it a few times /shrug.

When Plane of Hate first came out it was a high end raid zone... you needed atleast 3 or 4 groups to take on this zone. However, times have changed, gear has changed, spells have changed. Soo a zone that was considered 'High end' is now considered low end and with the right combination of classes & levels' it can be done with one group.
RE: raid zone?

Umm..No I was there last night the mobs we gound could easily be taken out with a single group. 2 warriors using /defensive and you're good to go non stop.
RE: raid zone?
# Jan 28 2003 at 2:27 PM Rating: Decent
Hate was NOT doable by anything short of a raidforce when it came out. There were ~no such things~ as disciplines when hate came out. The level cap was 50. The melee gear you would shrug and hand to your twink without a second thought was the best stuff in the game. Hate was scary, scary, scary back then.

Because of that, several weeks ago I (54 Enchanter) managed to get into a single group which tore through hate killing Maestro and such.. It was SO easy compared to even a Tier 1 PoP plane, but it was incredible fun and loot!

possibly true, but i know i did PoFear with my 54 shaman, a 54 druid, and a 61 necro. we trio'ed for about 3 hours until couple of members joined us to fill out the "raid" to a whopping 5 peeps. eventually the necro got a bad pull (couple of TTs) and we had to evac.

was a hoot doing /who and only seeing 3 peeps in zone with nobody on CR :P

I will bet you didn't run into any of the big mobs, like dracco, fright, dread or terror. That you didn't try to pull the tower like you would for a chanter epic and deal with a dozen Ammys. After another guild has wiped fear only yard trash would be up for a couple of days. Don't compare that to the real deal.
