I wish it worked on PCs on the Zek server. I would level a Wizard up just to get rid of a whole guild of annoying punks at thier next guild meeting.

this spell supposed to work on lvl 52 mobs, tried it on a tiger raptor in CT that was blue to a 53 lvl toon in group, said this mob cannot be banished.... any ideas why it didnt work that was my 1st try

One good use for this spell : destroy portals (con green, but with mass and mass HP :)) in ur way to Elementals planes.
4 wizzy with desintegrate will help a lot. Once portals are killed, no more mobs can come in.

Tried in trials like Druids/Mages do for Banishment. On lizards and rocks I received the message the mob couldn't be banished. Was the only use i was lookin forward to that spell but it just sucked up my mana and an opal for nothing. *sigh*
Should work like banish. Banish costs 400pp, Disintegrate costs 8k... the cheaper one works? What's that about?

The point of wizards as I see it is druids and mages and necros and clerics and a few more have specialized nuke things that can only hit one type of monster for a lot of damage at low mana. Banishment and Banishment of shadows can kill anything up to level 55 but it has to be a summoned creature for the first and undead for the other. The reason disintigrate is worth more is obviously because it hits anything, just like a wizard's nukes they hit anything and can even hit anything that is resistant to a certain element because we can switch elements or just bypass their resistance with lures. I'm not saying we're good as we are but that's the nice idea behind us.

Seriously folks this is a fantasy game. This spell represents the Uberness of a lv 60 Wizard when confronted with a 'green con ' that is level 50. Think about that a lv 50 green con just disintegrates. Level 50 !
That use to be the max level folks. I remember looking up to level 44 toons like you kids look up to level 65 Badasses in full Time Gear (note: update gear to match current expansion when Time gear is looked down upon as trash).
Yes that day will come for you just as mine did for me long ago. I understand, you cannot understand the value of a spell that only works on green con mobs that dont give xp. The game is not about online roleplay anymore it has turned into the Sony cash machine. EQ must turn out bigger and better every 3 quarters to the stock holders. We are in full tilt product production and todays kick *** spells and gear will be crap two expansions later. Cannot wait till the day when my Cleric is spending 1.8 million pp to purchace a Pegasus Mount from who?? The NPC merchant of course. Silly it wasnt the hackers that caused inflation in the game it was C.E.O. George Herbert-Walker Sony and his evil son C.E.O George Washington Sony that ruined the EQ economy because I seen the movie that Moore dude put out.(90% wont get it :)

not gay spell .. great for Agnarr where u need to kill 4 portals conned Green but PIA due alotta hp
it only works on MOB's under lvl 46... or 49... one of those here i think 46 tho... leaves no corpse no loot no exp or anything... and i hear its non resistant. Use this spell when ur camping a spot to spawn sumtin new... like rung of fire take out like first ring 2nd rung till they go over the lvl limit.
