Bards can't pick the doors in OS. Pretty sure 200+ is required. Currently ours is capped at like 125 or something. Essentially worthless except for LDoN and Befallen. =)

Bards can't pick these doors but pick lock isnt needed when you can charm a mob that summons.

Was there with guild and some friends, 56 druid, 55 warrior, 54 bard, 55 monk, 65 rogue, 52 cleric. Had him to 2% then someone stepped in his room, aggro went to me beacause they ran through an aoe, killed me, then the rest of the group.
Actually, the 2 doors in the os crypt can be picked by a lv 39 rog. :|

Not to mention that Sebilis was taken within a generation of Ganak (exact time is unknown, as far as i have researched).

I go down to Crypt / Emp to farm for Pp and some spells i need.
its getting to the point that names are more rare then they used to be.
And emp gesh seems like he is on welfare lately dropping just sword some times no spells :(

cleaned out PLA 3 times last night. Emperor was up when we got there. He dropped 59 Ench spell Asphyxiate adn 60 wizzy nuke Sunstrike.

I soloed him a few months back as a 60 shaman, hes not incredibly hard but I almost died at one spot (he innerupted torpor 3 times in a row), just have to get that pet down fast and make sure ya keep him slowed, and consta root at 20% hps...I'm sure I could do it again now even easier considering I have had many upgrades since then and they took away his spec pet(they gave some some weaker skelly one).

Just did this guy tonight, group consisted of 60 pal, 60 war, 55 Rog, 53 Clr, 54 wiz, and me 54 shaman. seemed pretty easy. malosi stuck and my slow and Dot as well, I figured it might not since he was red, maybe I got lucky? Dropped deepwater vambraces, Visions of grandeur, and I think Tears of prexus? not sure oin that last one? diddnt gate cuz we fought him near his own room.

Donno if he was made easier since you posted, but killed him tonight with 58 ranger, 50 cleric, 53 cleric, 55 chanty, 53 mage, 54 rogue, and 51 shammy, (yes 7, we did raid style) and malosi stuck on first cast (after tash) and slow stuck on first cast also from a 51 shammy. Dropped lvl 54 mage water pet and Disintegrate (wiz insta kill).

Dire charm only works on mobs level 45 and below, so not Chottal pets :(

Could anyone Confirm he drops Primal Avatar, Being that the spell is a velious one i find it hard to belive, but who knows with all the patches Verant keeps doing.

Yeah we easily stormed in and killed emperor while doing crypt he dropped rod of lamentation and some area effect nuke for clerics. we took him with ease with-
-(me) 57 warrior, 60 shaman, 60 rogue, 53 enchanter and a 55 cleric.....i pretty sure the shaman pulled him solo and we killed ihm at his door where he won't gate. i'm positive emp is level 60

hiyas, has anyone tried parsing how many hp's he has? to be honest in the 5 or 6 times I have been in groups and killed him I have never taken the time to check...
asking because in anticipation of makig 60 shortly I am planning on camping him to get the last of my kunark 60 spells (Torpor).
I am pretty sure I can solo his **** (soloed blood at 58) just looking for any info on how many hp's he has :)

Ive camped 4r/emp a few times.. Ive never seen emp spawn, seen everything else- but never him. (won a heiro cloak, knuckle duster, some weight reduce container) but ive never.. NEVER seen that ******* spawn. Why? Its simple. Hes what i was needing. I was just wanting to get some spells, have 4 50+ chars, 3 are 58+. None are uber, they all suck. Necro needs Emmisary pet and wiz needs sunstrike. Just my luck, I win a crap heiro cloak (won by default, actually. everyone else had it!) sold for 20k, then waisted the money instead of buying the spells. Hmph. go figure. but even though it was waisted, it went to a good cause. :) my alcohol tolerance. (oh yeah, and some twinks) im bored.

EoT does drop from the Emporer, but it is beyond rare. My group got 5 high end mage pets in a weekend, and no EoT. If it does drop, expect to have to roll on it even if you are a 59 necro as it sells for plus or minus 20k depending on the server.

We fight him twice today and he never gated, our 59 warrior is used to this fight apparently and on his advice we kept the emperor in the 1st room near the door to his spawn room, He never tried to gate, I guess our warrior was right
