Rhag 1 tips

You get to his room by taking the door directly opposite the entrance from Ssra, turning left (this is the route we take, ymmv) entering the Revenant room then taking the hidden corridor down to his room.
Based upon my experience of the first 2 Rhags, their resistance to elemental and magical nukes is minimal...at 54 and 55 I was landing 100% on Rhag 1 and 2. The Rhags are permarooted and summon, naturally, so you have to clear your way into him.
Our tactic, which so far has proved to be effective, is a MA with Rune and CHeal rotations one one side and all other melee on the other side, at max melee distance to try to minimise the ae effects.
As far as nuker strats go: I found that with the right gear, its possible to chain nuke him and avoid aggro. I opted for a nuke rotation of draught-draught-right click conflag from VRoT-Ice Comet. At the time of posting I was running with no AA enhancements to my nuke dmg...one of our alliance's nukers has Casting Fury and I'm not sure I've seen her survive a Rhag encounter to date :)

i have 2 lvl 60 characters, i only play on weekends because i have a family to support, one character has his epic(nature walker scimitar), and i have never raided. So when i asked a question about something give a good answer, so ok i couldnt take him out, ohh well no big deal, he summons and flurries, and yes i know what that means. And think, if i have 2 lvl 60's and only play them on weekends for a few hours a day, think how long ive been playing!!! So think you for the info on him and please be more considerate!!

I guess you've never played a shaman to 55+. A 20/22 hammer with a stun+DD proc, not to mention decent stats like this would be welcomed and used well by ANY 55+ Shaman I know.

Granted druids aren't prone to melee but I know a number of clerics who get in there and melee when soloing and do it well.

As a Shaman in the high end game 1000+ AC is not that difficult to acquire and with our self buffs and some decent equipment its rather easy to max out melee stats. Combine that with a 75% slow, a buffed pet, and self heals and you have a very effective solo melee machine. Add in a hammer like this and its even better ;)

We used a healing scheme consisting mostly of Divine Lights (2 clerics not really nuff for CH cycle eh) for him, second try he went down with 3 deaths.
Dropped Katar (yes Ima a happy monkey now), 2 Group Aego, and 2 nice necro spells...he was a NICE RhagZhezum
Easy peasy

Flurries every round, but, 3 clerics on 6 second cycle was overdoing the healing, he's pretty damn easy :)
