AS OF 09/25 THIS ITEM BEEN DROPED IN THE NEW ZONE THE STEPPES AND SAYS ON IT QUEST ITEM.. I DONT KNOW YET WHAT QUEST WHEN I FIND OUT ILL LIST MORE AABOUT IT..

Wizzys also need them to cast a leather skin spell to. I can never find any for sale though. Im tierd of peps telling me go here or go there to a jem shop they never have them. at leats when I go.

In addition to dropping off of mobs, bloodstones are purchasable from spell component vendors in most necro guilds. This would make sense as bloodstones are a necro spell component. I believe you can get them from the necros under freeport. I know that you can buy them from the necro guild in Cabilis.
For those not in the know, these are used as a component for the Necro spell Harmshield. They can be stacked and are lo weight - a higher level Bone Chip.
