The chief/lego is doable solo as a shammy at 19 even if red.Malise,insidious fever,affliction,tainted breath,root sit med(head towards Mistmoore will you're setting this up if all goes to hell you can always zone in there).when root does break hit him with spirit strike kite back towards tents nuke once twice more and he should be 30 pct health ot below.At that point you can walking sleep him and melee him to 20 pct at which point he "phase 3's"(wants to get away from you).Or if you can just nuke him to below 20pct if you dont want to work or your melee ability.Leggo PH does tend to be slightly higher level then chief.But 22 is max level for them both.Spawn time is 5 min 50 secs.(which btw will be the actual time when u see someone post 6 min spawn,I use a digital alarm timer.)Hope that helps.Happy Hunting.

Has the orc chief tongue been nerfed? I've been camping orc chiefs for four hours...killed a couple dozen of them, and no tongue...i can't believe im having such extroardinary bad luck...did they perhaps make it so that the tongue is now a rare drop?

I have tried on numerous occasions to get the tongue from the orc chief, and on almost every occasion, Equestrielle the Corrupted killed me, horribly. As I am not very familiar with Lfay, i had a difficult time trying to retrieve my corpse, from having to avoid not only that f***ing horse, but those very hard to spot brownie scouts as well. Now I know it's suposed to be challenging doing these quests, but not darn near impossible. I couldn't even meditate in the wood elf camp with saftey, those pointy eared twerps just watched the horse stomp me to a pulp. If anyone has any suggestions as to what I can do, I would really appreciate it. I know the totemic armor isnt the best, but I just want the satisfactionof saying that i have done the quest.

Well I finally got up the nerve at 24 to go into Lesser Fay and find this Chief so I can get his tongue - Nasty habit I know, but someone has to get it. So there I was kicking his butt with a DOT and a bit of some sledgehammer action and he started walking away. I rooted him and walked up to him to finish him off and he doubled attacked for a total of 88 hps and then imediately another dual attack for about 65 hps. SO I had to finish him off with a Spirit Strike. Bad news - no Tongue, but it was only the first try. Guess I better try again when I am not on my lunch break. Good Luck to all of you who try em, but beware of the Brownie Scout at 22 he dropped me with two hits of his DD spells .. nasty bastards. I thought Brownie Scouts sold cookies and were nice little girls? hmmm ...

I was just wondering if this guy is a caster and if so coul a 31 shammy down him without having other aggroes?

The lego will drop much better loot than the chief.

Myself (20th lvl shaman) and by bride-to-be (18th lvl ranger but she leveled to 19 here) had the best time camping this spawn.

None of the other orcs aggro'd us, unless as someone else said, we sat down to med in or too near the camp. I got the tongue from the fourth chief that spawned, but we continued camping the spot because it was such good exp. Most of the lego's and chiefs conned yellow to me, but they were no problem...root, blast with DD's, finish them off with a few taps on the behind. I even solo'd a couple in the beginning, but be careful not to kite them too close to the nearby wood elf ranger camp. I lost the first chief that spawned by inadvertently doing this.

I'm not sure how fast they spawned, but by the time we had medded in between kills, the next spawn was waiting for us in the tent. We camped it for about 3 hours and only the one tongue dropped from probably around a dozen chiefs. We did loot 3 or 4 of the "Volume 3 of the Chronicles of Wu." We were the only ones in the zone for much of the time, so we were without the continual scroll annoying auctions and children shouting insults at each other frequently found in other zones, and the time between spawns was perfect for medding and chatting.

I also encountered Whimsy Larktwitter and she dropped a single (but very nice) arrow. One thing to be careful of: a brownie scout (as funny as it sounds, yes...a brownie scout). As a lvl 20 shaman, before we camped the orcs, I was running through Lfay on a CR and although I never saw it, I must have run into a brownie scout's aggro range. With no armor or buffs, it cast a single spell that knocked me down to about 10 percent hp. I was SoW'd, and kept running, but it cast another spell to finish me off. I later saw one chasing another player through the zone. It was deceptively small and VERY fast.

On to Rajena for the terror spines...

I could kite him as a 22 season druid, snared him from his tent (stand by one of the trees infront of the camp to target), careless lightning till he drops. Usually took all my mana, so save a little for another snare, run for 15 sec, med, get up and blast again.
I did this for 5 hours, didnt die once. The ranger outpost is close by too, so if you are in trouble just run there (and hope nobody trained the Tier Dals in there)

His loc is according to the shaman crucible -561, 1643

He is often yellow to me at level 22, but I've seen him even fight at level 18. I've killed him SEVERAL times, so I think the levels are more like 18 to 23 or 24.
