My level 65 chanter just slowed him.
I slowed him as well (L69 shaman, but using good old L51 Turgur's Insects).
It sounds as if whomever wrote up the mob summary confused unslowable with unsnareable.

No, actually he isn't slowable. We just killed him.
He is stunnable like giants are, just for interrupting casting though. Can't stun his melee attacks.

Seems that if u face the mines, the buildings to right and left have a few unslowable. Other than that i have slowed all the other taskmasters.

Anyone figure out what this is for yet?
Try using Identify the spell on it, or the right click effect on a Silvery Mask. They aren't all the same, and tell a story of the tormenting and slavery of the iksar to the hands of the shissar.
You collect all the seals from the taskmasters and the Cursed Cycle begins, I believe.
