Arch Lich

Thanks to the recent patch that split the illusion component from the lich line of spells you can now cast this, click off the illusion and mount up. If you cast it on a mount the illusion won't stick but the lich effects will.

You can't use Arch Lich while on a mount? That's insane! Being able to stay mounted almost doubles mana regen even when wearing Lich, because you can cast while medding.
bought this spell for 50p, but it was rare to be that low. ussualy 100-200p.
I am waiting on lvl60 to get this spell, skipped Demi Lich because it isnt worth the trouble, just to be outdated in 4lvls.
This spell ussualy goes for 5-10k+, as opposed to the 100pish for its upgrade thats only 4lvls away...

This spell doesn't outdate Demi-lich in an outdoor zone. I can remain mounted while in Demi-lich form. Of course, 9K is a pretty steep price to pay for playing while mounted, but a lot of group exping and soloing is done in the (outdoor) PoP planes nowadays.
Why in the world do they have two similar spells in the same level? (Arch Lich and Ancient Master of Death).
Because Arch Lich isnt an ancient spell. Ancient spells are greats spells for a casters, just that they are rare and drop off Raid mobs in high lvl zones.

this spell drops like panties in a Las Vegas hotel. 500pp is common on my server, sometimes less, and given Demi Lich goes for astronomically more than this spell, its a good deal. only real advantage Demi has over Arch is, cant cast Arch and sit on a horse. bah, horses are for druids and wizzies anyways =P
My NEC has a horse. I call it Trigger.
Mine had a horse too.But he was low on food and ate it!
