This task unlocks after completing the previous task in the series and gaining level 10.
All dragons give the same quests. Every five levels you may obtain the task to receive the next level of innate breath, up to level 80. Does anyone know if this quest line is still broken? I want to create a Drakkin but if I can't get my Drakkin ability, what use it?

It seems to be working now, but the text in the window is wrong. It says that the skill in in the General tab of the AA window, but it is in the Special tab. For me it was the first one, and I now have 2/15. I guess there are 15 levels for this, i was under the impression that there were only 12 breath quests. It does appear to work now though.

All steps of this quest seem to be broken at the moment. Thanks sony. maybe my monk can get a complimentary race change to iksar since my racial questline is broken.

Yep, got ahold of CS and they said they are looking into the problem. Seems somethings never change when u return to playing after a 2yr break.

Well, did all that i needed too, killed charbones, but draton'ra would not take the charbones skull from me, so i quit the quest, redid the dialog, and went and killed another charbones, and still it would not let me do the turn in. Im lvl 18th with lvl 1 breath skill. Any clues to whats going on?

Charbones spawns on the platform in room noted above. There are other place holders that do spawn there. Spent an hour and a half due to I had to get for 3 toons.

I was actually able to make almost a lvl of exp while waiting for Charbones to spawn. Keep killing the ph skellie on the platform. There are also several blue (to a lvl 12) skellies, zombies, and bats to kill while you wait. Make sure not to take a wrong turn and enter the room with the high lvl undead (all red to 12), which is a much bigger room with a throne at the end. I noticed that the Warden near the elevator will NOT always help you if you run to him with something on your butt, so be aware....

Can someone tell me exactly how to use this ability? I can see it in my AA's but how do I gain access to it? Someone mentioned making a hotbutton but not sure how to do that...

you have to make a hotkey for it. press the V button and it will open your AA (alternative advancement) window. I'm not sure which tab it is listed in, probably special, or maybe general. just highlight the skill by clicking on it in the AA window, then press the button on the right where it says "hotkey" . place the new hotkey in your hotkey bar and viola.

ok heres how its done... go to top floor.. then its the 2d room to the left.. Charbones will spawn in the middle of room.. might take some time before he spawns though

There is a series of quests offered to Drakkin by their Parent Dragon to obtain then improve their Breath Weapon.
The task is called Strengthening the Blood: Breath of (Name of Parent Dragon) #1 thru 15.
Upon completion of each stage of the task, you receive an AA ability. It can be found under General Abilities using the Alternate Advancement button. You may obtain the task from your parent dragon every five levels from Level 5 through Level 75.

Okay, what are they called exactly in-game? "Strengthening the Blood" or "Strengthening the Blood: Breath of (Name of Parent Dragon) #1-15?"

Strengthening the Blood is the task name. The AA received is based on the name of the parent dragon.
