how to do this guy with less than 6 people!

did this on cazic-thule server the other day

group consited of
57 druid
59 shammie
54 warrior
54 rogue
54 cleric
58 chanter(linkdead for the whole fight)

ok, so first thing to note - if you barely step into the room you can aggro his first 4 guards - without aggroing 2 more guards and the emp himself. play ghettomez games since none of the guards are casters (root park them and kill individually). step in and aggro the remainig two guards (again, emperor doesn't aggro). again, ghettomez.

med to full.

rush emperor in his room. he's at his spawn spot, so who gives a S**T if he gates?

Pulling him is easy... just use a NON-DMG spell guard's will not come!!! He pretty much garantee's a spell drop we got Avatar<UBAH lvl 60 shammy spell> and the so hard to find lvl 60 cleric Cheal!! btw 25min spawn) hope this help's

He can be solo pulled by a lvl 54 cleric using dispel. I've seen it.

LoL FYI i can solo pull this guy w/ out being a high lvl, i am 54 necro and have solo pulled him to my group.

He's actually very easy.
U can fight him in the blood room but you need first of all a 56 , if not you cannot single pull him off from the bodyguards.
The key is not chain stun from cleric but rather chain stun from enc.
If the stuns kept getting resisted from enc then I guess u have to get a new and higher lvl enc , after all he's lvl 60 anyway.
But if he gates back , he will drag someone in (summon) and kill him at his spawn spot.

Also another advice for pet users. If the emperor gates back , don't move near the room and control the pet and back it off. I have once the stupid mage didn't control the pet and moved too near so the pet went in and engage him. (Mages especially should know about gating policy for mobs , and u know your work here.)

The sword dropped by him is more off a word , crap.
Get something better , i think the best that drops off him is those 59 60 spells.

I cannot for the LIFE of me figure out how to keep him from gating....he seems to gate every single time and thus getting 4 adds in the room. Do we need to be fighting him IN the room where blood spawns? Always pulled him outside into tunnel. We took him down easily but could NOT stun him for the life of us.

no mob will gate if you fight in close to it's bind point, so yes, fight him in blood's room

The guy's a pansy compared to any other 60 in the game. Always drops a 57+ spell as well as his usual drops. Fight him close to the door to his room, or else he'll try to gate. If he gates, you either have to run in and fight him there (adding about 6-7 mobs) or let him slowly summon you all to your graves.

Despite what his level suggests if you have a decent level shaman, enchanter, and cleric in your group this guy isn't that tough at all.

Common is Deepwater Vambraces, second is Nathsar gaysword, rare is Rod of Lamentation, and ultra rare is Rod of Mourning.

Of the 7 times I've killed him he dropped vambraces 6 times and gaysword other time. he dropped a spell along with those drops 6 out of the 7 times and they were all lvl 58-60 spells, so he is definately worth killing if you are in a 4rooms group with high enough people.

Groups we killed him easiest with consisted of:
51 rogue (for picking)
54 warrior (melee taunting)
56 sham (me for slows after tash and bracer for extra damage)
58 ench (tash and mez emp pet)
56 necro (extra damage)
59 cleric (nice healing =)

Killed him with other groups a couple of times but was a lot harder without a high lvl enchanter and cleric so we stuck to crypt and maybe blood if we had extra time.

add: Guy hits around 220ish so not too bad for a level 60 mob, esp when slowed. Just gotta remember your cleric has finite mana so you gotta do as much damage as you can without getting summoned too much. I recommend doing about 150 damage or so every couple rounds or have your tank use a journeymans taunting stick since you cannot taunt a lvl 60 mob without a lvl 60 taunter.

Chottal is not hard at all. We killed him in a group of three (58sk, 60rogue, 58shaman). We had rogue pull him into blood room and if you keep him near door he won't gate. Ghetto mez pet and healed when necessary. I malosini'd first b/c I was worried about resists, but I think I could have gone to slow right away. In any case both stuck first time even though he was yellow to me. The SK with his life taps needed only two or three superior heals to stay healthy. Dropped nathans sword only (lame). All in all it was alot easier than I expected. Cpypt camp in general is not hard at all to do with two or three, just need a rogue to open the door and invis to get around gaurdians (wouldn't even think of trying these).

I think evacers are a requirement in every Seb group but crypt actually. Most groups I know prefer the extra damage output of a mage or a necro (As well as COTH with the former and twitching with the latter as extra bonuses) in crypt just because that's more efficient than having an evacer with longer fights. Presuming you don't all go instantly brain dead at once, a well broken crypt is easier than just about any other spot in Seb except perhaps bugs, and you basically have to TRY to wipeout in crypt. A cleric camping out is always a safe method as well considering the total lack of wanderers in this area.

One full group of a 57 wiz, 54'ish warrior, rogue, mage and cleric, and a 52 chanter took out this bad boy fairly easily. Wizzie pulled with Annull Magic, we mezzed his pet, then mana sieve before it died. It never got a chance to Gate back.

It dropped the Level 60 Magicians water pet spell, and the Natshar.

He's got a good point, the door is locked and without a rogue, you can't even get to him. But I do agree that he is the easiest level 60 mob I've ever killed. He dies fast and with slow on him, cleric hardly has to do any thing, and his pet even gives exp up to 59 and sometimes 60, lol

That guy is tuff now... my group are 49 bard, 51 rogue, 57 mage, 55 necro, 56 cleric, 54 enchanter took him down. But pure casters died when Chotal had about 1/10 hp left and rogue backstabbed him to death. =P He drop only Nathsar Greatsword and no spell yet. /sigh

This guy weak. Yes he hits in the 200 range but still. As long as you have at least one pet class, a good tank, well...any tank, a cleric and either a shamy or chanter or slow him, hes cake. For example: we killed him with 4, thats right, FOUR people. Myself(55 chanter), a 56 necro, a 55 ranger, and a 58 cleric. While we didnt mean to attack him with only 4, our SK and wizzy went LD right as we pulled him. All in good fun though, he went down with ease. just be sure your cleric fm in case of any mishaps and you MUST dispell his *** or that damage shield will kill the pets/weaken the tanks. Total ***** ;)

Rogue could have had to go and went and got another, opening the door for him and then leaving. Though it would have to be pretty clear to get to his room.

he is 60 and he drops spells now and then and as comman he drops the Nathsar greatsword and as Rare he drops the Deepwater Arms and as very rare he drops the Rod of Mourning (nerfed!!) it is now 25dmg 36dly and some stats. but he is not easy as u think anymore they have made him a little harder but still..u can kill him with one group

yes you heard me level 60. Drops the Nathsar greatsword 17/30 +10 str 2hs as common and almost always some level 59-60 spells up to 2 even. Trust me i almost cried when i didnt win Sunstrike. Level 50 wizards CAN affect him but very resisted.
