Does anyone know if this is always dropped when killing Zlandicar? I am after this piece as part of the Aid Phara Dar quest in VP, and while I'll do whatever I need to do for this quest, life would be a lot easier if Zlandicar dropped it every time. Been a long time snce my guild killed Zlandicar and I will have to bribe people with lots of backrubs to go to DN.

Posted: May 31 2003 at 7:01 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) i would just like to say....HAHA to all those people out there that buy CoF or cloak of crystalline waters. i turned tis talisman into Harla Dar today after my guild owned this guy with 14 people. she gave me a nice 36% haste cloak with some nice stats. ohh btw, im a cleric.

Actually it is dropped by Zlandicar in DN. Might also drop off of Kordekakar in ToV, but I havent heard of it dropping there yet. Makes sense for Zland to drop it because Zland is a cannible and ate Frak

it's not dropped by Frakadar but it's being dropped by Zlandicar (i just got one and turned it succesfully to Harla Dar for the Shroud .. kickass piece of haste if you ask me hehe)

heh only a ranger would use this item as a neckpiece and NOT consider turning the damn thing in to get a Shroud with twenty some-odd % of haste. Makes ya wonder

That's all Rangers need at that level is to outdamage the warriors. I do this now at 51 with 29% haste. Run even up with a monk level 52 and 1 taunt will pull it off a monk. Rangers aren't tanks we dont have the hps. But, I would turn it in for those times when I solo and need that extra dmg/dly. We all know a Ranger's heal is like having a level 14 cleric healing you :-/. Nice piece and is on my haste list.

You realise taunt = top agro + 1?
As long as taunt works, a warrior who procc'd EB 10000 times could lose agro to one taunt.

Hehe, I was thinking the same thing. I was wondering when they were going to bring back something like the Necklace of Superiority. This is about as close to it as your going to get without actually having one. :)

There seem to be a lot of these talismans dropping on Velious with relatively the same stats, so lots of ways to have a NoS or even better with some of these talismans -) They're all no drop too.
Well, I imagine that a lot of these are turned in for the Shroud of the Dar Brood, if the person that loots it has good dragon faction.(AC14/STA8/WIS9/INT9/HP20/MANA50/FIRERES10/COLDRES10/MAGRES10/Effect: Haste/1.0#)
