I love the BP. I use all time except when I am tanking for a large raid. I use my cultural Mith then. Its AC is much better. But for normal xp hate bp rocks.

The breastplate and greaves seem to be a fairly common drop off Grandmaster R'Tal, so I'd suggest going after him instead of killing hordes of the little mummies, trying to get the better indo pieces. And yes, i did get the breatplate and greaves off the grandmaster.

Just won the BP and boots today 9/21/02. I was suprised that I got them and only was 57secs left on timer heh. They awsome dont let anyone say anything different they upgrade from crafted.

Just got this breastplate a few weeks ago, very nice upgrade from my barbed ringmail. Yeah, cobalt is better but you get what you can get your grubby little hands on, cobalt is so rare and expensive, I'd rather wait till I can get my champions breastplate from thurg than try to get a cobalt bp. That's just my thought.

This armor rocks plain and simple. Reading throught the post who complain about this armor not being good dont know what they are talking about. Yes there is better armor out there, BUT this armor is FREE! you just have to either win a roll or be inline for it.
Now last time I looked FREE! was a pretty good deal. Cobalt is better AC granted but thats all it offers, and will cost you 70k+ unless you get very lucky and win alot of rolls. I got 4 armor drops on last trip to hate and will shoot for a set of this over Cobalt. In fact I am now selling what cobalt pieces I have to improve in other areas. The only piece of cobalt that now intrest me is now are the bracers for the shrink effect(i am a troll).
Also yes the pally armor is higher ac but, warriors get 1.5xac so i think it evens out.
Next time you can replace your Kmart armor with something like this and is free dont complain. Cause after this armor everything is going to cost you a arm and a leg.

Pally armor is better here cause we dont have any PoG armor for roleplaying purposes, so do Rangers and Druids. Im glad its this way cause I dont have to kill my fellow creatures of Tunare, even though the drops are rare as hell on 2nd floor where it drops. Oh yea, Pallys get the 1.5X AC bonus also, so do pretty much every other melee class I think...

WOOT - went on hate raid and within first 2 hours 2 warrior BP drops, 2 boot drops, 2 gauntlet drops, 2 iksar bp drops, cleric helm, enchy robe, sham gaunts, bard bp, pally epic items twice, ranger whip, cleric bp and a few others. never seen anything like it before.
anyway, i won bp on roll between 2 and boots and gauntles i didnt even have to roll for! bp is sweet, upgrade to my ring mail and now i dont have to look same as a noob anymore.

Hell I have a 51 warrior and I still want this stuff, even though you have to be 46 to get in it's not always easy finding a hate raid you can go on and then it might not even drop. Even at 51 and trying for 5 levels I haven't been able to get this stuff to drop for me and I've only been able to even find 2 hate raids, most are guild ran and then you don't get a loot chance most of the time depending on the server you are on. So don't knock this stuff, armor doesn't mean everything. I am still wearing Crusty (which AC is far far inferior to this) and am able to tnak fine. So keep trying and with the luclin graphics, this armor looks so much cooler, no more rusty bronze color. Keep it up, try for it. It may not be the best stuff in the game, but it's still damned good.

Planes armor is a good upgrade for those who cannot afford Kunark armor and have not gotten a chance to raid for higher end Velious armors. Most stats on warrior and rogue armor (I'm not familiar with the other class armors for planes) are basic stats for melee classes. Often, Planes armors will be someones first bit of resist gear. After 30 something raids, I'm missing all but the breastplate and legs (go figure). From personal experiance, the legs are a much rarer drop then the breastplate. Seen only 2 sets of indo legs and at least 6 breastplates. Keep in mind this stuff will very rarely drop off the jello cubes in Fear, so don't think being a warrior in Fear is useless if your not there for your epic. =p

There are 80 active players in the guild im in and i can tell ya more than half of the have their ToV BP (dragon faction armor) its not hard but u do have to get into a good guild to get outfitted like that...u also have to work ur *** off for it...this indo armor is very nice till u can or if u ever will be able to get a thurg/kael/skyshrine bp..my 2cp isnt worth much but hey wtf why not post it

IM at lvl 52 warrior and am very happy with my Indo armor...Have all but 2 pieces now and just received my BP about 2 months ago. The posts I read here are funny because its obvious that those who trash talk Indo armor will never see it. I am sure I will use this armor way into the high 50's so I cant complain. I like...I am proud of it...and if you dont like it its understandable...its called JEALOUSY!

so many people keeping talking bad about this armor, this armor has good stats, and for peopel that are like well if your 46 and high enough to get this you might as well go to POG and get berzerker, unless you are in a real uber guild and all the manin tanks have better then berzerker(which alot dont) you wont get it, its not like when a forest loop drops in FM and everyone roles on it, it goes in order of priority , all the main tanks see if they want it , and if they already have better armor , it usually goes to somone around lvl 50 or so, and if they dont want it, you and a couple other lvl 46 and 47 war will get to role on it, somany people go get indo, cause it is alot better then most armor you can buy , and lower lvls tend to get it more , cause most main tanks all have better armor then indo, so lv 46 wars get to role on it

Honestly, this is a decent tanking breastplate if you havent been to PoG (hehe gonna get there soon though). It's has replaced my Guardian Breastplate as of late, since I tested it out on a constant spawn, Ratraz in Neriak 3rd gate. I was taking less damage against him with the Indicolite BP than the Guardian one. Although, the Guardian BP does have a few resists on it, (4fire 4magic I believe), there are still enough cloaks, masks and many other items than can substitute for that loss, and since I am on a pvp server, I am trying my hardest to find something for my resists which are very important on higher lvls even on blue servers.
And yes it still exists since I got it last Saturday hehe August 25th, 2001. EHehhehEHhehe yep my heart wassa poundin, so when I came out of the hospital and got my meds for my heart attack I realize I have a new bp. The graphics on it remind me of that **** color bronze bp from way back in my teenie days so I dont like the look much, but the stats are lovely. Now I gotta get back to my respirator and hopefully get to have some more planar bp's for my collection.

Hi all ... just wanted to post some info. I only saw one indicolite BP drop in over 2 years hehe In one month I saw 3 berserkers and 3 incarnadine BP drop. Guys it's not as rare as you think. You just gotta kill the right mobs *hint hint*. Oh and for that kael quest BP you gotta hunt in Temple of Veeshan not Veeshan's peak... it's a whole different story =p

Ok, from all I have heard about berserker drops, basically, there is no berserker armor, thats how rare it is(at least for my guild), my guild is saying its a myth, i been on a couple PoG raids and like 1 berserker piece dropped, I have been on 2 hate raids and like, 5 pieces of Indo dropped in hours or starting, i would try and get this armor from hate, then try and get PoG, instead of sitting around waiting for VS or trak to get a chance at cobalt BP and legs, go up to hate a lot and get yourself full indo, then go after berserker without still having gay crafted on! just my 2 cents

Bah...Berserker's isn't that rare really. As a matter of fact I ended up looting the boots because they were gonna rot, other Warriors already had them or better. Had Thurg myself, so it's the exact same piece with a different name, but one step closer to full PoG I guess...We had four berserker's drops there in roughly 8-10 hours, PoG isn't the same with PoGs broken I am told :P

what level is poh, is it a zone only for raids or one you can just walk in and yell "48 warrrior lfg" i realy want this armor are these guys hard to take down?
PoH = Plane of Hate = raids only. You can't even get there without a wizzy and you definitely don't want to go there alone or you'll have to wait till the next raid makes it safe for you to go up again and get your corpse.

im sorry but i had to say something. I am sick of everyone dumping on PoH armor. This armor is real tough to get and is very good armor. Anyone who says different doesnt have it and wont get a chance to get it. Just because there is better armor for wars in the game doesnt mean you will get them.
OK, not really whining here, but why does the Ranger PoH BP have higher AC than the Warrior one? Does that make any sense? Don't get me wrong, I'll take this BP anyday, but I would thing that the Warrior BP would have higher AC than any other Equivalent level BP.

You also have to take into account that the Indicolite BP drops on the first floor and is much harder to get than ranger or paladin POH armor. Ranger and Paladin armor drops on the second floor of hate and are very much harder to get.
Oh yea, Pallys BP also has higher BP (by quite a bit, in fact). Granted they are actually a Tank class, but still...

The 59ac Warlord BP, is not the result of a few hours of questing. It is the result of many trips to VP in hopes of Recieving one of the 4 quest items you need. Your guild will need to be mostly near 60s with the minimum safe lvl being 55, or so ive heard from some of the uber guilds on my server. Warlord can take years to attain, Kind of the Magnum Opus of warrior Equipment. Dont be discouragewd by people though, theyll say this is impossible to get, or youll never get it. We havce post of the stats and pictures of it and ive seen one on a Dwarf myself. Every race ive seen warlord on, dwarves barbarians and humans, It looks gold, I assume the other races follow suit. Another thing PoH armor is still good even with BPs like this out, Know why? I can get indo BP at 46, this is lvl 60 armor, PoG stuff Roxxors but its pretty much lvl 53+ armor with the occasional Exception. There are very few items that just oiutright suck, Its all in who thier useful and available to. If your guild gets you Indo or Berzerker or Cobalt be greatful, These are great armors and will help you fight when you guild is equiped for VP and you can start getting warlord. Oh yeah and High lvls quit knocking on newbies you were new once too and you didnt even know what a Plane Raid was so when somone new ask a question either give em a helpful answer or shut up, no one cares what your cocky little remark is. hehe just little extra for the guy who said this was a joke. Why dont u go look at the pic for the champions breatplate? thats the one that is quested for in Thurgadin. Notice the swords that war is holding? yeah that is the warrior epic. So a warrior with a epic was so happy about getting the Thurgadin armor he posed for it. now try this on for size. The war epic is pretty hard to do and that guy just got his Thurg bp? huh guess the Thurgadin quest armor is pretty darn hard. why dont you ask him if he just quested for a few hours and got it. OH YEAH, i forgor Thurgadin armor is not as hard to get as the Kael one. dont u look stupid
ok first this is dropped in plane of hate. you have to be lvl 46 to enter. i am telling u this because u dont know. If u knew u would not have posted that. Second the 59 ac breastplate you are talking about is quested from Kael. Now i know you are not over lvl 20 but i am assuming you have seen no drop items. After crafted you will find that most of the nice armor, especially sets of armor, are mostly no drop. the exception of course is (for warriors) cobalt. Now i dont know if u have seen cobalt but to get that u have to be on a trak killing AND be first in line to get it IF a cobalt bp drops. Now the kael quest armor is EXTREMELY hard to get. you have to camp in skyshrine and get a rare drop from 55+ mobs. now i know u dont know any of this but i am going to be very simplistic with u. IN ORDER TO KILL 55+ mobs u have to be around 55. so from crafted till cobalt there is no real good sets. HENCE THIS FREAKING AWESOME ARMOR U MORON! hmmm u dont see lvl 20 twinks running around in cobalt do u? oh, well why dont u go to Karnors castle and see how many are wearing cobalt, MUCH less a cobalt bp. oh wow still barely any? and karnors is where it drops. Now go ask the best guild on your server how many warriors in their guild have kael bp? I would be willing to bet the number they would tell u would be less that the number of fingers on one hand. SO now after this lesson i hope u realize that u should be shooting for leather armor buddy and then when u get to lvl 60 and u STILL dont have a Kael bp u can come back here and apologize to us for being so dumb.
Well, why waste your time on this BP when you can get PoG Bezerker BP? Better AC plus regen, both are planes armor, so level 46 is min. Seems like a no brainer to me.
Most warriors wont see cobalt BP, but who cares, Berzerker has better ac than colbalt and can hold you over until you're able to get the velious quested bp.

Uh,Maybe becuase Berzerker BP is so freaking rare that you will never see that either?
Hmmm... the mob that drops the Berserker BP is at least level 52, that hits for about 175 a shot, where as the Indicolite is from a mob that's (roughly) level 47, and hits for "only" about 125 a shot... I'll take the chance on the Indi until I'm high enough level to take a run at the Berserker, myself. :)

aye for some guilds taking that awesome faction hit for POG jsut is not going to happen. Yet this armor is good armor, oru guild in Hate now with a great guild known as "The Masks" and we getting some of this stuff to drop all over the place. a BP so far greaves, and other pieces.
Also as stated ya dont have to be an uber guild to get a chance at it. and drops more often then cobalt ;p ugh but that is a peeve of mine, why place the most useful item of cobalt (bracer) in an area ya need a uber guild to get ;p

Call me naive, but with the beserkers armor dropping in PoG...doesn't this seem kinda...trash? I dunno, maybe it drops more than Beserkers, but if anyone has a clue, post your info, thanks
there is a very good reason to still have this. U will get this looong before u get berserkers. getting to PoG is rough and getting the bp requires lots and lots of time or a guild raid. Getting this requires no where near the time to get PoG bp and u dont need uber guild to get this. that is why it is still around and a very nice prize to get.

Of course there's a reason. These breastplates are still extremely nice.
They beat barbed ringmail by a lot and are a good breastplate to own while waiting on something better.
