Pagus Nonad [ New Tanaan Tax Authority ]

Pagus Nonad is a Loyalist vendor who also has a small quest (ask him about his "brother" to get the quest).

From the patch notes on February 9, 2011:

A New Face in the Neighborhood

An uneasy tension fills the morning air of Sunrise Hills. Garik, the recipient of five consecutive losses at Orcakar glares around the room irreverently before speaking, 'I don't much care for their kind waltzing into our home and bandying about their authority like they do...'

Darix, the cynical antagonist, smiles, 'You sound worried, little man. You should keep your focus on the game at hand. He's not a concern to us; let him wander about crafting his knickknacks and going on about his brother...'

Ragthar slams a small Orc figurine down on to the table and lets loose a roaring laugh, 'Me win again!' The surrounding trio sighs. Perhaps a new face in the neighborhood will introduce a bit of luck in their efforts to best the Ogre savant..."

You say, 'Hail, Pagus Nonad'

Pagus Nonad says, 'Greetings, traveler! My name is Pagus Nonad, master [craftsman], devout follower of Rodcet Nife, and chief collections officer of the [New Tanaan Tax Authority]. I've taken residence in Sunrise Hills under direct orders of the Tanaan Council, as it would appear that a fair number of debtors and defectors from Kartis have taken refuge here.'

Pagus Nonad pauses and pulls out a small roll of parchment, 'Player name is it? ... Well, it would appear that your dues are in order. Have you come to inspect the goods I have available? Feel free to ask me about my [shield] or my [weapon], both are available from the Tax Authority's [market].

You say, 'craftsman'

Pagus Nonad says, 'I don't generally like to brag, but I will say it is not easy being the primary distributor and manufacturer of all manner of ornamentation and knickknackery. I do take a great deal of pride in my work. I've crafted this [shield] and [weapon] with my own two hands, both of which I offer to customers of the Tax Authority's [market].'

You say, 'New Tanaan Tax Authority'

Pagus Nonad chuckles, 'Indeed, I am an officer of the great New Tanaan Tax Authority. My family has a bit of a reputation for collections, though I've proved to be the odd-one with my penchant for crafting. I seem to be the only one bothering to create goods like this [weapon] and [shield] for the Tax Authority's [Market].'

You say, 'shield'

Pagus Nonad says, 'The ornament that looks like this is current secondary ornament name.'

You say, 'weapon'

Pagus Nonad says, 'The ornament that looks like this is current primary ornament name.'

You say, 'market'

Pagus Nonad says, 'Aye the Authority has a market, taxing alone doesn't fulfill the investment requirements to keep new Tanaan in working order. What with militia costs, portal fees, armaments and the upkeep of our ever-growing library... So feel free to [browse] the wares I have available. Be on the watch for sales, the Authority has a vested interest in improving your holiday experience!'

Pagus Nonad says, 'Very good, these are the currently available items...'

At this point he opens up a Marketplace Window for you to purchase items.
