Got size 4 and 6 sprockets or something from him. Annoying fight since the room is so narrow that he kept getting pushed on the ledges and shelves making it hard to hit him or see him for spells. =<

65 shammy + 63 war. Ogres triumph once again!
Didnt make much of a lunch. We cooked and cooked, but he tasted bad no matter what.

Respawns in like 6minutes. After clearing the room of guards and such, we took down Royal Clerk or whatever his name was. He conned blue to 65, so his level must be incorrect. ><

The king is at loc 812, -192, -68.

Enter the keep building. From the room with 4 doors and a dip (786,-139, -36), turn left, go through door opposite in next room, turn right, down the ramp, round the corner and through a door, immediate right, 2 spiders ahead, go between them, turn left, right and down ramp, turn right and he is ahead of you.

He cons DB to me at 65...

He was an easy but long fight for a 46 cleric and 64 warrior and did't drop anything. King Akanon is lvl 60, hits for little damage for his level, nukes pretty hard and summons. I forgot what faction hits you got when you killed him but one was -King Akanon(suprised?).

King drops nothing.. me (60 druid) and my cousin (60 necro) killed him with no deaths. He nukes pretty hard and very often, so make sure your resists are good.. after he was dead we were sad to find nothing on his corpse, but we killed the king, nothing to cry about =P

Where is this guy at? I tracked him with my druid, but the tracking had me running around in circles.

I assume he is somewhere in the building in the water?

Of course I wasn't looking for a robot, I may have ran past him.

I even swam around the building at the bottom of the water.

Dammit, this Clockwork thing has gone to far, does he have to change his oil when he goes to bed? lol

First off, you could kill him by having one group just clear all of the watchman and clockworks and such (wouldn't take a group just 1 lvl 50, but just to be safe) and you can get a 60 shammy/60 chanter, clerics, few tanks, few monks, rogues, sk, few necros and a few wizzies with there AA points on the skill that uses all their remaining mana for the ratio of the spell; then you let a couple peeps tank it till shammy can debuff then let necros chain fear, and if they can keep the chain fear up, and the other group can keep clearing the fear path for them by killing clockworks then he wouldn't be able to get a translocate off and it would be easier on the mana for clerics.

2. Take the left
3. go into the 3 door room
4. turn right
5. go in and turn right again
6. go in, take another right

My great guild Death's Disciples ( an all evil guild ) just recently invaded Ak Anon and we battled the King . He was blue to me at 53rd. I do not believe stories of his demise by only a few people, as we assembled a fairly powerful force of 13 total people. After a pitched battle, the King yet lived. The problem was this. He translocates people to the zone there by seperating your group. ie splitting the healers and tanks. He then will phase back and forth from his throne room, to the zone indiscriminantly thumping on your now devided groups. Death's Disciples will be returning very soon to claim his crown. I will post with what he drops as soon as we have taken his head.

I say everyone gets together and kills him, newbs too, then you can just use that %R thing that identifies race/mob thing but you cant do it when hes alive becAuse hes in form, so i have my priorities set out for me.

SO your the one who took my name so I couldn't log on as Ilvatarer... How could you! I have been Ilvatarer since beta, always a gnome magician... a twin brother? THis is truly odd! Sorry if this is off the subject, but I thought I was the only one with that name! Dang, a brother "sniff sniff" always wanted one.

Someone cast Taper Enchantment on him or Nullify Magic on him, we'll see if hes actually human
