Ged will make you some gloves for a price. He makes ratskin, wolfskin, bearhide, or lionskin gloves. All require some money and a specific pelt. You need to beamiable with him to buy lionskin gloves. The Ratskin Gloves cost 6 gold and a giant rat pelt (ac 3 , negative 5 charisma), the Bearskin Gloves cost 25 gold and a high quality bear skin (ac 5), the wolfskin gloves cost 13 gold and a high quality wolf pelt and the lionskin gloves cost 96 gold and a high quality lion skin. It is told that a tiger spawns some times in the south west corner of Kith forest near the orc spawn and gives a high quality skin, and that they are also dropped by highland Lions in NK.
The gloves are good for druids who can't wear metal.

wolfskin quest worked today
I tried to use this guy's quests to bump my faction with Kithicor Residents. He took my giant rat pelt but would not accept the 6 gold, no matter how I tried to offer it. (All at once, 1 gold at a time, 1 plat, 100 gold, 60 silver....) He wouldn't talk to me about his other quests yet, so I went off to Highpass and went AFK and let my merc kill 1000+ orcs overnight, then came back. He still wouldn't take my 6 gold, but he took 25 gold (actually 2 plat 5 gold) and a HQ bear skin for the bear gloves, and 1 plat 3 gold and HQ wolf skin for wolf gloves, both of which gave +2 Kithicor Residents, +1 Jaggedpine Treefolk and Protectors of Pine, and -1 Unkempt Druids, just as the ratskin quest supposedly would give if it still worked.
I had roughly the same experience on Agnarr today -- he took a giant rat pelt but then wouldn't take the money. But then the other quests do work.
I found him standing still at loc 400, 2340.
He accepted my pelt at barely dubious (he's on Kithicor Residents faction). I don't know exactly what the other quests need, but they all work at amiable.

If you kill him, you sometimes get 3 plat. Kill him enough times and you can buy yourself banded gloves.

Anyone got the location for Ged? I've trucked up and about Kithicor and haven't seen a peep of him and I'd like a pair of these gloves to sustain me until I can buy Banded. So, anyone tell me where I can find him at?

What a waste of time... If you can kill Lions in EK, You can prolly group to kill Gnolls in SK for Split Paw Gloves. Much better than this Lion skin garbage. Check the stats on Allakhazams

You must have decent (??) faction with KithResidents to get him to make the Lion Skin gloves. As a Woodelf Ranger, he was indifferent, but when I asked about the lion skin gloves, he told me to take a hike and come back when I'd proven myself. I did buy the bear skin gloves though.
