The drain is minor, the 6 minute duration buff to your entire party however, is not useless.

This spell seems to drop commonly from the Shadel Bandits in Fungus Grove. Nec/wiz/mag/enc spells seem to be the only spells these bandits drop. I don't know where else it drops though.
