can be solo'ed as a warrior, if you have something like willsapper and a nice life leech wpn its not hard at all, just go thru all your buff gear and bag items, then use a slow wpn, i like willsapper because it lasts long, then i switched over to my sparkaling short sword with a lifetap aug and honorable longsword with dd aug, brought out fabled exe axe for fell strike disc when i went zerk, droped him no problem.
(better be level 65 tho) had him slowed at what ever will sapper is think 35%, then also had a 32 point ds, kizrak armor buffs and lots of aura of battle, used a regen potion as well, probly had regen around 20.
i'm a lvl 56 necro with 225 intel & about 1600 hp, self buff'd, it's simple only a few steps... 1) from mons Zone Line go invis and head left to the undying iksar camp. 2) before casting, bounce around on all the rocks to trigger the traps while ur invis. 3) once the coast is clear, root the iksar laying down closest to mons ZL, 2 others will pull, run over the hill to the zone wall u came from & wait fer them to come, and root 1 4) now that there is only one left chasing u, kite him all the way to monz ZL & use screaming terror & then conj undead (poof killer pet) 5) Spirit armor/ augmentaion of death (others mobs will walk back to their camps by now) 6) now from mons ZL, head north to the temple(dodging mobs) but no biggie ur new pet will take down a timeless golem in about 5 seconds) 7) sick pet on any of the golems first, & just run around in circles while ur pet lets loose his can of woop ***** then kill the lizard guyz, 8) after ur done makin out with ur new best friend of a pet, u'll notice a sorta slight ditch out in front of the temple, tell ur pet to sit there while u wait fer next spawns, and u target ur pet and just hang tight on other side of courtyard area thingy, 9) if u charm happens to break while ur waiting, (since u had him tageted) SCreaming terror, recharm, and tell him to sit back in his place,
cake, also u can cream the lvl 55 undead sun rev's at pond in zone fer almost 1/2 blue aa per kill the same way, and don't be a ninny, just DMF< and stand in the middle of the water, to avoid the traps from rocks,
ohh and BTW, if u snag a some nice weapons, haste mask & armor from a mage b4 u do this & make ur pet mini, he'll be there day after day just waiting for u at the same camp u got him from, just FD when ur done with him.
after reading all of these forums, i play on tallon zek, if u kill my mini pet then u suck !, happy hunting
Soloed him today as a 65 Necro, fight was about a minute and a half long, easy as pie. He has the hp's of about a regular tier 1 planar mob, didnt resist at all except for Blood of Thule, which he resisted every time i tried to cast on him.... he doesnt summon, i used the root and rot method. Just be careful of adds when attempting to take him... didnt get a chance to see how much he hit for, cause he never got a hit off =P. Thats just about all i got to say, Good Luck Hunting =)

Stop being a bitter ***, there are a LOT of level 55 undercons and such that kill level 65s easily. He was providing information for others, theres no need to flame him for it.
Snarable- yes Rootable- I'd bet. I'm a bard can't root.
They have a LOAD of hp. The two named revenants have about the same amount of hp but this guy has higher resists. And I know cuz I just killed them one after the other.
They don't summon or cast. Easy kill, just a long fight. I had a shimmering rock fiend as a pet running behind and bashing the guy while I kited him with dots. Took 8-10 minutes.
Got the gauntlets off of this guy and got my second pair of boots off the other one right before.
Well, they don't have a ton of HP really. I play a 65 wiz and keeled him in 3 shots. something like 13khp. 3 Strikes of Solusek with ID4 and one crit. So two 3ks and one 6k. Roughly 12-13k, I rounded down.
Got this guy today, he went down pretty easy, just used rest the dead on his two little freinds, then charmed one, and send pet right after him. After that, just used shackle of spirit on him and sit back and watch hehe =) Did get a bit too close once and he took a few shots at me, hits for about 161 and fast. Dropped the shissar gaunts. All in all this is my favorite camp atm

hmm level 55 vs level 65......it isn't a PoP mob....and i dont believe he casts....you could prolly stand toe-to-toe with him and end with about 20 life.....hell, even if he does cast at 65 you better be having some resist gear in inventory...in wich case, his spells wont land anyways......or arrow kite him if you have EQ/bracer.......or dot him to death......your a ranger man......level 55 mob Pwnage......
Alright my friend does this place solo all the time with a 54 Dru, non epic. He just pulls around sides of temple and rots the golems...nameds are the same way, Snake OR Golems. Theyre just time consuming sometims...Id say with Winged, Clicky Arms and Breath of Ro on for the entirety of the fight it last 7 minutes if that. If you cant solo here as a Druid by 53, yer not worth the leaves yer blowin.

I do this guy all the time with my 61 wiz. He has 13k hp and drops easily with lightning based spells. Draught will do it, but elnerick's is much easier. A great level to solo there as a wiz is about 58, cause only the named ones are dark blue at 61. Things give good exp when you quad there, zone nearby if you mess up and have to run for it, and not unusual to get several named mobs in a few hours. Nice camp spot for wiz or druid.
He popped last night when we were clearing the snake camp at the front of the temple. My partner, a 51 druid and my 52 wizard took about 20 t0 30 minutes to kill. He dropped a shisser scale cloak, and a fang. won the cloak with a roll of 18 lol. Any idea what makes him pop?
Mikest {Sons of Tao} Wizard of the 51st Rune Erollisi Marr
I was able to solo him on my 58 wizard. Pulled by casting snare, which got a resist from him and another snake added. If it didn't resist, I'd have fettered the other, and absconded. I just snared the rev and absconded and went back to the camp...
He mosied on back over to the camp later and I hit him with a snare and voltaic draught(magic based dmg is best here). To kill him I used good old fashioned med-kiting with a harvest thrown in for good measure by dragging him around the back area of the temple. ~700pts is about 5% of his hp, weighing this guy in at about 14,000hps.
He gave shishy stuff, and I hope to see him again-at any of the snake rev spawns...
We saw this guy last night in the grey, attempted to kill him with a 49 Ran 48 Mon 53 Pal 52 Dru 51 Ench. Big mistake, him and 6 of his snake buddies came charging out and our Pally ate it fast. Oh well.
Im a lvl 55 ranger and have killed him many a time... i group with my lvl 60 shammy friend here and make great exp, it takes both of us about 20min to clear out the surrounding temple golems and all snakes then we simply go to re pops. When slowed he is a baby i can tank him with no heal needed
Probably. Me (56 shaman), pet, and 51 warrior (non-twinked) took him down easily. Granted, the mob was slowed and warrior and pet were buffed/hasted, but I still used only 2 bbls mana for heals. He resists poison and disease dots consistently, but fire and cold work well.
Keep your pets healed, have the wizzy nuke while watching his aggro level and you should be fine.
Took 8 57 focusd earth pets, and 3 shock of steels. i also had aego, so i was able to eat alot of damage that otherwise would have been my death. i could have done w/out taking damage, but i was fighting it on south side, with skellies and other rev's RIGHT beside me, heheheh, fun times, drop the gauntlets for me, and a piece for Seru Bane weapons. woot! i also think the first 2 pets had cof on , but i stopped that asap, had 40m at end of fight btw. maybe 38 mana, shrug.
Well equipped 60mage w/ epic could solo this guy with ease. Epic pets have like what... 5k-5.5k hp? Bash for up to 140, quad for around 80, with 80% haste from pet buff.. i smell one dead rev.
uhhhhhh I watched a Non Epic 59 mage solo this pile of scales lastnight dood, and he didn't appear to have much of a problem with him once he settled in. soooooooooo shhhhhhhhh :D
i can solo this guy like cake work i'm a 58 full SS gear necro .all ya have to do is slow him an root then go charm a rev an let ti got to wor kit die's get antoher not that hard once you slow an throug ha dot in there with a charmed pet :p
He doesn't have a spawn time. He, along with the other named Revenant, can spawn anywhere along the edge of the Temple in place of normal Revenants. (Probably in other Revenant camps as well, but I haven't hunted there.)
Basically, kill enough of the Revenants and he will pop. I'd say we got 5 named spawns in 2 hours of hunting, killing all the temple revenants and some golems whenever we ran out. This was with a party of three level 57's - monk, druid, enchanter.
We found that the safest way to hunt these was to have the monk pull them to the enterance of the Temple. You don't get Xacra worm adds IN the hallways of the Temple. Anywhere outside, you will.
No special tactics needed. Neither one is a spell caster, no AE, no poison. It's just a normal stand-up fight, against a level 55 mob.
