Zoned in, ran to the dining area, he was spawned under the tent to the left, killed him, dropped shroud. This must be a pretty frequent drop. Start to finish (zone in, get shroud, zone out) 15 Minutes :)
Shroud of Nature now drops in Mines of Nurga, A zone that is much safer and the camp is more easy to acess then in Droga. Warder in Nurga randomly spawns anywhere in the zone, common is the opal rare is the Shroud. Just a little bit of information since no one else mentioned it.

Most of the guild druids have thurg/ss or elysian, you can get the bp in Umbral so flipping easy, its a druid heaven. My friend got a full set except the legs in two hours, all the other druids had a full set already. This is a *good* item, but max value is 1k, probably 500 is more realistic, imo.
Well Im a 55th Druid on Xegony...managed to make my way to the Dining room with only one Imp camo emergency recast...(god I wish I had Sup Imp Camo hehe) I was pretty much cleaning out the actual dining area at 55 you can single pull however they will stick attack on sight if you wander too close...there are about 5 spawns actually around the table and spit area and 2 spawns on a balcony in the little hut thing these were the mobs i was taking out...I found the safest spot I could sit and rest was on the back wall as you are looking at that fan halfway in between the tunnel to your left and the spit to your right...Sup camo and hide then Med....Started off with dots but there are a good few Shamy casters about who will not attack but will heal the mob u on...so in end I went with Scoria 2 blasts and they down (apart from Traitor 4 blasts for him and he hits HARD if he beating on a druid hehe) I spent about 2 hours there solo with no spawn clearing the area I cleared so still not sure how to make him pop or where Sigh....
The warder is a fairly random spawn in the area near the Traitor, and Overseer. I've seen him spawn in several spots along the tunnel to the zone exit. Drops Opals frequently. Shroud is uncommon - 1 Shroud from 4 kills. Worth killing if only for the cash.
Thanks to everyone that posted the info on camping this. Me (54 SK) and a friend (54 druid) came in and got shroud on the 1st spawn. We were very happy, and have this bord to thank, thanks again
Got it today. The warde spawn all the 30 - 40 min and there is 2 or 3 spawns of of S(something) Gobelin on his place between his apparition Got it 3 times and he dropped 2 opale and finaly the shrould The problem is the add mobs. Camp it with your camo and you dont get the aggro of the wanderer gobs, kill the gobs who spawn on his place and it will be easy. Take are of the Gob Traiter who spawn close on the left he is not on the list of this site but he cons blue to me (i m lvl 51) all the other are green.
If you are an High lvl who solo, bind yourself outside and have the gate spell in memory. Alone they are easy but if you get a train you can die. I saw a lvl 52 cleric died
I went to the Temple today. I would say that you need a sturdy group of 40's to actually survive the place. The dining hall is a tough camp, that we broke with soothe and Feign Death. This guy only poped once will in the room. He died fast as does most of the other casters. Although there was no shroud so it was a bust.
a group of low 40s should be able to camp warder, the only danger is that things spawn close together in droga and there can be alot of healers which can get very annoying
I was able to solo the dining room without too much difficulty. Invis will be your friend on the path to and from your camp, and if you have Hide it won't hurt to use it while you med just for a little extra security.
Druids are pretty vulnerable when they must face groups of high green cons indoors, but for the most part regen and damage shield will permit the post-50 druids who posted to take the greenies with minimal mana usage.
The warder himself was light blue to me, but he's nothing that a few nukes didn't eradicate. If I possessed the scroll Nature Walkers Behest, I would've given our miniscule ursine protector a shot in this situation. *ponderous sigh* A fully buffed bear pet would fare fairly well against mobs of this caliber. Probably would use a bit more mana than if you just melee yourself, though, assuming you have 700 AC or more.

at 44 i could easily solo this (and have many times)...now at 49, its even easier... the trick is to stay in the cave beyond the arch... he spawns in that arch alot... youll have to deal with 5 mobs... but all 1 at a time, normally i start at safe room and work my way into cave

We went with a 49 cleric, 38 wizzie, 35 cleric, 35 chanter, 38 mage, and 39 drooid. We got the warder to pop twice in about an hour and got 2 shrouds. WOOT

Posted:Oct 28 2001 at 8:50 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) If you are asking if this thing is soloable the answer is HELL NO...ok heres the deal the warder spawns in a tent off to the side of the dinning room or what ever it is called...there are qutie a few spawn in that area...some are static and are no problem...some roam freely...really there is no safe place to med unless you invis, and well if you are a guy with a pet then you are screwd...if you go to the cavern nearest to him to spawn that is your best bet ...if you pull him ther will be one or 2 that comes with -pluse you got 2 differant guys who will roam that cavern you are in, since most of these mobs are SKs and love there harm touch it doesnt take long untill a caster is dead...WARNING...if you are running or a dumb DROOD whos trying to kite, stay away from the house not to far past the then. there are several (5 or 6) gobs in and around the house...
Let's be frank: you, as a 39 druid, won't bring a whole lot to the table when your task is killing numerous mobs in the 30's range in succession (sorry, but it's the truth). The 49 necro is basically solo, but then, he should have been able to solo the spawn. I can only speculate as to what the specific flaw(s) were in your strategy.
Perhaps the necro's play style is too reliant on the Fear that he cannot use in a dungeon? Root/dot would have served him well, in any event. Perhaps you couldn't seem to manage to get the goblins to single pull? There are side passages leading from the dining hall which provide a suitable FD-pulling area. Ultimately, your friend should have been able to isolate a lone goblin and to destroy it with all his potent necro spells. He could have repeated the procedure as necessary, particularly with you to heal him while he used Lich for mana.
Why a level 39 would say you cant do something is beyond me ....
You can prob solo 4 or 5 of the spawn points at level 49 or more if you are a druid. You just have to be careful when medding and fighting due to wanderers.
The trick is to camp at the overhang where you first enter the room and solo pull the nearest mobs - recommend you kill wanderers first - they can spawn Warder also
If you pull from around the table you will get multiple pulls and prob die quick unless you're uber. But the 3/4 mobs at the rear of the hut ( the side you enter the room from) do spawn the warder.
For info we spent about 4 hours keeping this room cleared and had about 10-12 warders spawn and only got opals. Am planning to return and solo the sole spawns - will take longer but I dont need to waste group time for no XP and wont have to roll for it.

Ummm...im a 49 ( almost 50 ) enchanter and I was wondering if I can solo this. I hate havin to take extra peeps along to kill things, cuz then they always want lootz, and im a greedy bastage. is their any chance of me soloin this?
there is a new tunic that has nice ac i think 10wis and high mana dont remeber the stats right now but if you want to see it it drops in velks lab so you can just goto that zone and look for it.
Well this guy is truely RANDOM. We cleaned out every mob in the general area of the dining room & he seemed to spawn in various locations, but normally within 50 feet from the center of the dining room. We camped this guy for aprox 5 hours & got one shroud drop on 9 spawns. Got lots of opals black pearls & 263 leather whips!...actually we droped all the whips=P.....
For your information we had a lvl 58 necro come down & visit us while we were there & these guys WILL ARRGO EVERY LVL character....at least up to 58..even if they are alone. Mosstroopers & Stalagnights have a 300hp ht so if you get too many they could kill anyone in the game with the ht alone. As long as you pull carefully this is an easy camp for any group with an enchanter. Just be sure your puller can take a few 300 hp ht's & you will be fine. Once the harm touch is over all the mobs here hit like Bixies!
I recomend pulling to the area just south of the dining room. Wide open cave area..oppisite the arches with the path on top. You get very few unwanted adds.
My guild has been camping in there for the past few days, and this guy seems to be truly random spawn, but incredibly rare. Once we met him in one of the tunnels on the way to the dining room, maybe he just wandered out. But, one time we were actually fighting two at the same time, so it is possible.
By the way, we've killed about 6 or so Warders so far and have only found opals.
