This dude is weak. I'm a 35 monk, (i know he's still a low blue) but he still cant even take 1/2 of 1 bub of health from me. as of spawn time, sometimes he spawns 3 times in 30min, other times, 1ce in like 3 hours... fun if your bored, want $, and have some spare time
Spent two hours one day, and he never showed up, clearing every thing as it popped... the next day a friend of mine and I camped him for five hours.. first half hour he popped, didnt pop again for four and a half hours. Relatively easy fight for a 32 warrior and 27 monk.
His spawn time is random and he is about a solid 32-33.
Went to "his" ruins with two friends (I think we were two 32 or 33 rangers, with a 41 druid) who were going to help me get the bracer. We killed everything and anything that spawned in or wandering through the ruins - goblins, iskars, brutes, you name it. (it is very possible to be "greened to death" in an area like this with a high traffic rate). One of our three went LD after about 45 minutes, so we medded to wait, and not five minutes later, pop, there was the Bandit Lord. Blue to me.
We took a look at each other, took a deep breath, and waded in. Imagine our surprise when hitting the mob for the first time it popped into two! It was a close fight, and my friend had to run for zone, but I managed to finish off both, and the bracer was on both bodies, so we each got a bracer. /woot
I used this bracer to replace my Ivy Etched: more than twice the DEX and I think lighter too.

I have camped this guy sthree times. From lvl 28 to lvl 32. At 32 he has conned both yellow and blue. At 28 he was always red so I would say he is anywhere from 30-35. The first time I camped him there was another warrior there that had been camping him for about 2 1/2 hours abotu 30 min later he spawned 4 times in a row. The next tiem I camped him he poped after about 30min. Yesterday when I camped him again we waited 1 hour for him to spawn once then about 1 1/2 hours for the next spawn and he spawned 2 times. We were going to help another guy that came along as we were camping him but after 2 more hours we left cuz he had not spanwed again. He droped the bracers everytime and he seemed to coned fairly accurately. Hope my info helped a little

While passing through, on my way to The Overthere, I was approaching this small, ruined structure and as I neared it, I targeted the visible forsaken Iksar -- it was the Iksar Bandit Lord. As a 30th Shaman, his consider message was yellow, reinforcing that the above-mentioned Level 32 is accurate, as a "yellow mob" is either 1 or 2 levels above the considerer. I used Malise, then ran (SoWed, of course) and rooted the other mobs that followed (I believe there were 2, but there may have been 3). After those were rooted (this required a bit of traveling), I used Root + Envenomed Breath / repeat as necessary. Very easy mob for a decent low-level melee bracer.
Spent two and a half hours camping this guy tonight, but couldn't get him to spawn. So don't expect this guy to necessarily be as quick a camp as some of the other people have experienced.
It's true, one day I was killing this guy for fun as I walked by, took out a couple of the guards, and next thing I knew TWO lords jumped me! I was about 37ish or so and I easily beat them both down and did a shout out to find someone to take the extra bracer.. A lucky monk responded and got the free loot.. Must be rare occasion for two to spawn but I thought I'd just share that with ya! =)
This guy is not that bad. I took him with my lvl 26 monk, I did have to use my mend, but there were adds. He did not hit hard at all. All in all, easy camp, easy kill.
I logged on this evening in WW and hit tracking. Bandit Lord was up, but computer froze up. While I was re-booting I figured Bandit Lord was probably dead. When I got back on I saw that he was still on tracking. I ran to ruins, and again no one was camping him. Killed him rather easily (only one of his pals came along this time). Unfortunately, no one was around who wanted bracer, so a perfectly good Bracer of Scavenging went POOF!
Was soloing giants in the fort last night and this 25 lvl dwarf pally kept shouting for help to take on some bandit lord. After a few minutes, I offered my assistance, just to shut him up. When I got there, the Lord conned red to me, a 29 lvl untwinked monk. We got too close and he, along with 2 of his exile friends jumped us. We were able to kill him and his friends but the pally did have to use his lay on hands, to keep me alive. The pally looted the bracer then left but he did give me some info about the lord and the bracer. When he told me that stats on the barcer (9ac, +5 dex, +5 sta, I think), I thought this would be a major ungrage for me.
So, I went back to the giant fort and returned to the lord spawn about an hour later. He wasn't there but the exiles were and they were blue so I fought them. About one minute later he spawned and was yellow to me. Therefore is level does flucuant because I was still 29. Was able to solo him and got the bracer. When I tried to put it on, I found out that monks can't wear it but I was happy becuase the pally said it was a easy sell for 500pp in ec.
Don't know about spawn rate because after I beat him, I went back to clear the rest of the exiles for more xp and he spawned within 5 minutes of the previous lord. Didn't bother trying him again since he had help and the bracers are lore.
A friend told me about liz. There is a fort to the left ,right when you come in zone, and there is a fort around the mg fort up a couple of water walls. Which one does he spawn at? And any adition info is aprecciated.
I was having a generally frustrating day. You know losing levels and long corpse recoveries far from your bind point. As I popped in to WW from OT, I immediately clicked track, and there he was. I hustled over to the spot and figured a group was camping him. To my amazement, no one was camping him. Pulled him with snare and two of his buddies followed so I had to root them and lead the Bandit Lord away. Once he was far from his friends, I hit him with stinging swarm and ignite while peppering him with arrows. He went down pretty easily and his friends did NOT follow. He was blue to me at level 32. Mymaku Misawa- Level 33 ranger (for now)
I took him down solo, 35 Troll Warr, didn't lose a bubble of hp either. And yes, the exiles are a little tougher but i was able to keep the camp clear by myself. BTW, I am not twinked. The worst part of keeping the camp clear is when they run and you pick up a wandering giant or a casting goblin.
The Bandit Lord will spawn every thirty minutes on the dot if you keep the Iksars in the fort. You cannot let them wander out of the fort or it may reset the spawn time. Snare, Darkness, Root.....whatever you do, keep them inside the fort when they drop.
Sorry but you are wrong, I have camped this guy from the first days of Kunark. Its not every 30min, I have had him spawn three times in a row before and other times its not for 3 hours. Its random, like everything else in EQ.
Absolutely correct. 6/12/2001 my party of 3 camped him. The first spawn took maybe 30 minutes, the next was in less than 5 minutes, the third in maybe another 20 minutes. It's just a chance he will pop at each placeholder. Just keep them clear and you'll soon have your bracer.

Too easy, my brother and I (I being a 22 rogue at the time and he being a 17 sk) stumbled across this guy in WW.. was red to me so we considered leving him alone, then out of nowhere this Iksar monk got too close and pulled him, along with all the other iksar bandits there. So we figured.. what the heck.. proceeded to easily take him down in a matter of a couple minutes (no assistance from the monk) after he was dead and looted the monk asked what he dropped, we told him the bracer and asked us our lvl's, he said he was surprised to see us win that fight because the Lord conned blue to him at 34.... anyway that is my 2cp
I hate random spawns like this one. My lv 30 war camped this blasted lizard with 2 of my friends, a lv 27 bard and 30 pally. We killed the infernal 3 lizards for about 2 hours straight and still no Lord. Worse was we were given the camp by a very kind lv 39 monk who himself had been camping for about an hour and a half. Camped this fool for 3 nights straight for 2-3 hours each and he still didnt show. It seems Verant idea of adventuring is sitting on your **** waiting for a mob to spawn if it spawns at all. I hate that I just wasted time when I could have been having fun and slaughtering giants. Instead I was waiting for a MOB to spawn that never did. What kind of Lord lets his subjects be slaughtered and isnt even the least bit curious to see what happened? These types of spawns need to fixed as not everyone can spend 6+ hours waiting for a MOB to spawn.
THis guy agg'd on my 31 monk. He was blue and very easy.. as in by the time he was dead I had taken about 40-50 points of damage total. He fought like he was around 21-24 or so. Perhaps he spawns in a wider level range then noted here. He drop the bracer of scavenging though. =)
Myself (30 monk) and a 30 warrior wasted this guy twice the other night, one time he con'd red, the other yellow. Each time we took him, he only hit for a max of about 48 that I saw, and it was no different than fighting an exile, maybe even less. Maybe Verant somehow made his lvl high, but attack rating low to lower the number of people camping it?
Just a thought.
Regardless, if you are 27 or above, get a few friends together and go after him and his buddies. You'll like the exp, the coin, and love the BoS ;-)
Camped this today alone as a level 39 SK... killing the 3 PH's as well as some wondering greens were a major annoyance, but I wasn't particularly careful in assaulting the fort so I aggroed all three at once. 2 spawn near each other, and 1 spawns on the opposite side of the ruins, not at all near each other, and there should be no trouble fighting the one and the pair seperately, but I didn't have much of a game plan going in. They didn't pose too much of a threat, even fighting simultaneously, but I would still suggest a better devised plan of attack. One thing of note is that more green wanderers -seemed- to roam on the side of the single spawning iksar, while I was never interrupted while resting nearer to the double spawn point. It is, however, nice to take that single out of the way to make sure he doesn't aggro and cause complications. When the Lord spawned, he didn't pose that much more of a challenge than his minions. At any rate, I walked away after 30 min with a very nice addition to my armor collection.
