I don't know. I had thought maybe it was Greenmist the first time I saw it, since it has the same hilt as a fer'esh or low level khukri, but now I see a barbarian warrior wielding it.
A closer look at this weapon graphic at:

He got nerfed guys, he used to hit for no less than double 280s. So now if he hits for 220 its safe to say you could single group him. i don't know what his resists are, but if you get a malo and tash of on him i'm sure you could slow him very easy just like myconid spore king.
How do I know he hit for 280s? Well, for one I got hit by him for double 280s sitting when adds raped our party.
I'm sure if you had a high lvl chanter and a lvl 60 sham you could single group this guy easy.
As with any lvl 56+ mobs, turn off autoattack or hit the mob from behind or almost every swing will be riposted back to you for insane damage. When I first fought this guy, his enrage lasted like 45 seconds, not the usual 20 or whatever.
I'll prolly fight this guy again, but who cares... only the axe is good, royal frosted velium is better for legs than the greaves here. Not worth scheduling an event for, but if yer passin thru on yer way to kill royals, it couldn't hurt to dust this guy.
He was actually hitting me for 300 if I do recall, although I dunno I spent most of the fight blind...Anyway, I had to tank this guy, our Warrior went down in like 5 seconds, so a 48 Ranger had to tank a 62 for like all of his life, it was no fun. Anyway, he is very not worth it.
Beg to differ with you Mandicus, have killed him with 1 group of 55+ on Luclin, no 60s either. Once slowed, hes a punk, and when he enrages, just turn of auto attack until he stops. It only takes 10-15 seconds or so. That will save your clerics mana. I've also seen 4 groups get owned. Its all about tactics.
We took this guy down the other night. First time went pretty badly, buffs started blinking out at just the wrong time and well we got butchered (had about 10 ppl, average level high 40s, low 50s). So we recovered our corpses and got ready for round 2. Things went much better (things like damage shields are great since you really cant cast on this guy cause he is level 62). Second time we only lost 2 tanks and beat him pretty handily. Probably the most helpful thing I can tell you is this: When he becomes enraged (like 10-20% hps) he will use a discipline like effect and automatically riposte every attack you make. Since he can hit for 280, this generally means death (esp for the poor monks). Best advice is to turn attack OFF for about ten seconds then finish him off
I hear ya, I was dueling a warrior the other day and turns out his discipline had recycled...
Save to say I died very quickly (damn ******* had cloak of flames and epic weapons, one blue and the other red, he even put them together to finish me off.)
Korocust is a lycanthrope (Drolvarg) sent by Venril Sathir, he assassinated the representant of the Ring of Scale and tries now to turn the Sarnaks against the Ring of Scale, the Sarnaks seem to have some sort of pact with (remember the sarnaks are dragon-iksar hybrids). Just my 2 cp.
Lenron Ashenfist posts the best threads on this site-ahh but if the world could be more like him. /target Lenron /kneel we now return you to your regularly scheduled posts:)
The Ancient Orden on Vallon Zek took him down with 2 Full groups easily. He carried Spells and the Axe the 3 times we took him. I dont know the Spawn time exactly. Was around 30 min.
As a person who has been on a korokust hunt i'd like to inject some info here.
1) korokust hit for 280 the time we went after him. 2) If you pull korokust away from his room, you WILL die from respawn unless you kill him VERY fast. 3) Becomes enraged at 10% hps or so and has some sort of haste effect when that happens. 4) take some lvl 58-60 support casters to slow this guy down or mana battery a couple clerics while your tanks are goin to town.
We had no less than 4 groups all in the 50ish range, but a few lvl 55+ and a few lvl 45 or lower.
It is damn near impossible to kill this guy when you can't get any spells off on him. Take some high lvl support casters like sham, enchanter, etc. to slow, cripple, malo, etc. this guy so you can actually do some damage on him.
I would reccommend getting in melee range before trying to cast on him, I don't know if he's the type that resists everything if yer out. Fire giants, etc. come to mind.
I know I mentioned this, but KEEP HIM IN HIS ROOM. you can pull his friends with a lvl 55+ without pulling him. Get tanks on all sides and have support casters come up semi early in the fight to try to debuff him. When he becomes enraged, put him down quick. Get in melee range and nuke your *** off or you can just kiss your cleric's mana goodbye.
Remember, KEEP HIM IN HIS ROOM. No sense thinking you can rely on an enchanter to handle adds, it wont happen.
Tip for pulling this room is, get a lvl 55+ war to shoot a bow at the mob underneath the bridge right beside korokust's room. Then run back into tunnel and fight them off there and hope the bridge agro don't get ya.
Bring coffins with you because if your warrior gets summoned to korokust's room before you clear all the spawns, you can kiss his butt goodbye. You'll need to either repull and try to drag his corpse out or just summon it to res. (second choice saving a lot more time on a raid where it is important)
Even if you never use the coffin or two you bring, you'll have piece of mind =P
BTW to add to the reply here. if 2 groups killed korokust i'd say they were in the 55 - 60 range and got support spells like slows and nukes off on this guy.
