Got him to spawn by killing random wandering mobs, muddites and minotaurs. Unable to say what the PH was but he spawned in the north part of the maze. Took a little over 3 hours to pop for me.
This guy still spawns as of today! I was killing muddites and goblins for my slayer achievements when I ran into him. I love bumping into rare spawns in Everquest, especially in old school zones with lots of nostalgia. I got the Horn, which has a not too shabby Wind modifier of 11.

I was like "Ah look at the tiny minotaur" then "Ah look at the tiny minotaur sleeping, isn't that cute". He spawned down the path on the right possibly towards where Diggs is. Got me a nice full screenshot of him untargeted. Was hardly able to believe my eyes when I saw him on track. Hopefully him and the king will be spawning more on the Combine server. Good luck to anyone like me that just wants to see this rare spawn....and kill it.
I just killed him about an hour ago, and he dropped the horn. I am doing my tour in Hell trying to camp the King and stumbled upon him. I had know idea he was so rare, I would of grabbed a screenshot.

Was camping EE's to get some PBBs for a druid friend. My bags got filled up with gems and rings but I didn't want to lose the camp. So I called my druid friend and had him hold it while I sold. I get back and he leaves. A few seconds later he sends me a tell that something called Brahhm is attacking him. I told him to train it to me, Lvl 30 war. Killed Brahhm and got the amulet. My friend was killed by a swarm of muddite elders. Sob.

Me and a couple of my friends beat the crap out of him when we were hunting minos and such, got the necklace. So as of feb 10 2002 hes still around... the bad news is this is the first time i've seen after hunting in the gorge for a couple of weeks so he is really rare I believe. If you really want it kill everything you see in there and maybe he will spawn. When we saw him he was running in front of the path to ek.

was hunting goblins for monk quest in gorge and had to log for emergency patch. logged in right after the server came up and since my goblin was not spawned i went to kill the evil eyes. the evil eye lord soptyr was spawned with two others. he was light blue to 46 so I decided to try him and the two normal evil eyes at same time. just after fight started brahhm joined in on me was green and very easy to kill. he dropped the horn. he must have spawned in the evil eye area cause he was there right after the server came back up along with the lord soptyr spawn.

Where does this guy hang out? Does he appear around the throne/alter as the picture above kind of indicates, or does he wander the whole zone? Does he have a set spawn point and then wander, or is he a random spawn on any mino killed?

I was the first person in the zone after the Tue, Mar 27, 2001 Patch and ran all over the place with sow and he was not in the gorge , I thought maybe I missed him so I ask the 4th person in zone a high level druid(30+) if he was on track and he was not , I also ask the other 2 people who where hunting the King and they had not seen him either. So he either has a placeholder or he's not in game anymore.

just killed this mino today on a Corpse run to runnyeye. conned green so i punched him out. hehehe what a way to cheer up a guy on a corpse run. got the talisman but no horn

I think this may be true. I have spent the last two days hanging around the gorge trying to track him with a ranger friend and have come up with nothing. He has not spawned in zone. I've killed everything except throne room which was handled by higher level campers. No Brahhm in zone.
If anyone can truly confirm this, it'd would be good to correct the on site info so no one wastes time looking for a non-entity.

I am on Prexus and have spent hours in here killing everything, and I can not make this guy spawn. I've also asked several people if they have even seen him or tracked him...nothing. Can someone please tell me if this guy was taken out of the game. I would hate to waste anymore time.

Yes, as of April 5, 2001, this guy is still in the game. I was camping the eyes in the throne room when I saw a new npc come up on track. Took off after him, tracked him down, and since he conned green, killed him to see what he dropped. Looted a Brahhms Horn off his corpse. Appeared to be a random spawn, since I was the only person in the zone at the time and camping only the eyes. He apparently spawned in one of the paths near the back of the zone.
Now for my question, does anyone know the stats for the horn: better, worse than other horns? I'm planning on giving the horn to my bard, but he has a few lvls to go before he can use it.

More than just adding 15 percent to the song. Note it can also be wielded in either hand, making it one of the very few instruments that can be dual wielded.

15 percent to bard song (wind) and also can be equipped in both hands, which is quite rare for the insturments available to us bards =). enjoy!

I was hunting minos with my wife and we spotted (and killed) Brahhm. He was patrolling the length of the gorge with the rune stone at the end. To get to this gorge, follow the left wall straight out from Runnyeye, and it's the second gorge on the right. There is a lone static goblin that spawns at this intersection.

I ran into him in the right hand gorge as you leave Runny. He was right where the first spilit leaves off to the right ( 5 or 10 secs of running w/o SoW). He was standing still when I saw him, but can't confirm it as spawn point. Says level 17, but he went down much easier than the gorge mino's. Dropped the Brahhms horn. He's really little, barely as tall as a human! I've been camping for the Gob Alchemist, about 20 hours off and on for a monk quest item, first time I've seen this mino. I'm assuming this a Bard instrument of some kind? Does it have any value? Green to lvl 23.

If my memory serves me, the Concert Hall reports that both minotaur horns and the Brahhm's horn (both wind instruments) give a small bonus to songs playable with wind instruments. I don't recall what the bonus is, and do not know if they are the same bonus.
I do know, however, that despite this, the horns are not worth all that much. Minotaur horns are exceptionally common and easy to obtain on my, older server. Similarly, the only song I can think of off-hand that might take advantage of the bonus is Charm, and at this point a bard should be able to obtain a mino horn on his or her own.
In any case, all bards everywhere should be using a mino horn or brahhm's horn as their wind instrument, if their other option is a plain wooden flute.

Got him last night. Green to a 20th Ranger, exp. gained, so probably 17-19, maybe. Also, he carried a Bard Instrument, Brahm's Horn. This mino looks smaller than the gorge minos.

This guy was blue to me at level 19. I ran into him completely by accident and killed him. He had a Labyrinth Talisman which is a very nice trinket. AC5, +3 wis and +3 sta. Neck slot.
