Apparently these drop a "chunk of refined metal" now. Can anyone anyone confim this?

Yup - while camping the priest of Najena, several of these dropped - lore item magic item, tradeable.

I ONCE looted a ringmail tunic off this guy, even though i've killed like 25 of em.
Played about 8pm Pacific time. We were at the Back door Porch of Unrest, first GREATER Dark Bone Skel that poped inside the house by the bar droped the Skull. Dont know if this helps or not, was wondering what it was for. we let it rot =(

I have heard that only the darkbone in the basement drops the skull. I belive it is for a dark elf quest but am not sure on this.

I have done the Runescale Cloak quest and am now attemptnig the Accumen Mask. I have been in Unrest on and off for about three days trying for the Dark Bone Skull with no luck. Please anyone with more info on where in the manor the Dark Boned Skellie that drops this is located....Or any info that might me helpfull....please Email

i have been camping the darkbone skull with no luck. would someone please tell me if its the greater dark bones or the darkbone skeletons that drop the skull? Thanks

They drop small ring mail bracers most of the time. out of the 4 times i kill one, i get 2 bracers. i sometimes get a FS weapon here and there

I have no way to prove this, but these buggers also seem to have a very very high magic resistance. At level 20, I was hitting them with Flame shock for 30 to 50 damage most of the time. Force shock I gave up even trying.

These guys also drop Darkboned skulls, used in the quest for the grand (wizard only :-P) acumen mask.

I believe only the GREATER Dark Bone Skels drop the skull for the mask.
