was trying different dialogues with qeynos npc's, asked about kane bayle and got this :

[Wed May 18 16:24:42 2022] Crow says, 'Yeah, I need someone to run over to Kane's for me. I need to find out how many cases of [Crow's special brew] he needs for next week.'
I asked Kane Bayle (the north qeynos spawn version) about crow or delivery or the special brew, no responses. I tried asking him about everything I could think of.

I tried giving Kane Bayle a stack of Crow's Special Brew(vendor) and the other variation from the quest in SQ and he wouldn't accept either, I hit a dead end pretty quick on this, it's probably just something that never got implemented. The only other thing I can think of, is maybe trying to talk to Commander Kane in qcat or trying to give him Crow's Special Brews.

I needed to buy something that only Crow sold.
He wouldn't talk to any of my characters.
I was faced with lots of faction grinding in directions that weren't attractive.
Solution: Create Half-elf Rogue of Bertox. Hand over cash to rogue, rogue buys from Crow who likes her, rogue hands over goods.

This was hard to figure out. I had assumed Crow could not be on Circle of Unseen hands because I have chars that con dubious to him, but are KoS to Unseen Hands.
I now believe that this is because merchants cannot con lower than dubious and that if allowed to would con KOS in this case.
This was proven true when I got Circle of Unseen Hands up to kindly and both crow and Flynn went to kindly. Then I did a quest that only drops circle, no other neg hits and Crow dropped from kindly to amiable.
Crow and Sabnie are both on Circle - despite rumours that that are in a coalition faction. They appear different because they are merchants, but they are not.

I am currently Warmly to Corrupt Guards, Threatening to Kane Bayle and Ready to Attack for Circle of Unseen Hands and Bloodsabers: yet Crow cons Dubious to me.
EDIT: Never mind, I took my Circle of the UNseen Hands faction up to max and now I am warmly with Crow, so I guess he is Circle of the Unseen Hands after all.

I say kill him and see which faction hits you take, then raise them.

hes definately not on antonius bayle or kane bayle, i doubt he is on merchants of qeynos since i con different to them. it would be bloodsabers coalition or corrupt guards. i did the evil crate quest and he went from dubious to indifferent, same as the corrupt guards who also went dubious to indifferent. what do you have to be to buy from him, i talk to him but he doesnt seem to like mages too much. is there a certain faction standing i can get to talk to him or does he just refuse mages period regardless of faction.

If anyone is attempting to complete the Experience in PoK aka shopping quest and you need the Keg of Beer (I couldn't get it from him) Go next door and speak with Tanlyn Galliway -- she sells it too.
This was after hours upon hours upon days of killing bandits and raiders to adjust faction with Circle of Unseen Hands. It didn't do a damn thing for Crow adjustment but did for others in Qeynos.

Circle of Unseen hands is rogue guildies ...you need to do faction quest for the baddie merchants ...ie just hand in four orc picks to the guy in Harolds Resale in EFP is the easiest ..

You don't buy honey mead for trumpy or anything like that, I did and my faction did not go up one bit. All you have to do is go to blackburrow and kill gnolls until your heart desires, then your factions with merchants go up and u can buy all the beer u want. I just did it, and it works

Does anyone know what faction he is part of ?
I thought he was Circle of Unseen Hands also, but I brought my faction with them from Scowling to Dubious, yet he remained Dubious the entire time. A lot of bandits died for this information.
He is definately not on Circle of Unseen Hands faction. I was able to raise the faction he is on, though i don't know which faction it is. I have done some quests and got following factions up:
Guards of Qeynos, Corrupt Guards of Qeynos, Antonious Bayle, Kane Bayle, Merchants of Qeynos, Coalition of Tradefolk, Circle of Unseen Hands, Karana Residents, Priests of Life, Knights of Thunder and Bloodsabers.
Well, most of them can be excluded. I am not sure what my current faction with Merchants of Qeynos is - some Merchants are amiably, some apprehensively. I suppose that the Merchants who con amiably are on Coaltion of Tradefolk. Reason for this is that my faction is amiably with them in Freeport.
The only that is left for me is the Merchants of Qeynos faction... (I can even exclude Karana Residents). Anyone can confirm this?

He is definetly on the Circle of Unseen Hands faction. Why do you think their base is in HIS basement? Why do you think he talks about Tubal Weaver and the Circle? He must be on the Circle of Unseen Hands faction because of those reasons.

Just a wild guess, as he's dubious to me still, but maybe he's on Coalition of trade folk Illegal? I mean, some merchants use the coalition of trade folk (legal version) instead of the Mechant of (whatever city). And he does house the rogue guild in his basement and has some not so nice dealings. I know I've killed the begger in EFP, and it's lowered the coalition of tradefolk Illegal. Maybe that's why I'm dubious?

He's in Crow's Tavern.. all the time.. day and night, rain and shine. He's a merchant/ quest npc.. so.. he'll be there whether you like it or not.

I have seen a crow in north... DO you have to do get som quest or something to get this one to spawn? They can AOS either.. Consider north is a newbie area.
