Manna Regen

I was told today that a few gulps of Brandy would aid in manna regen. Also had Clarity so I am not sure which was doing the regenning. Any one know the truth.

It might look like dinking helps mana regen, but here is the truth:

Drinking intoxicating beverages lowers your WIS/INT, effectively shrinking your mana pool. If you have some form of Clarity you are regen'ing mana, but since the pool is so much smaller each tick replenishes the same # of points at what only Looks like a larger % of the whole.

Melee can use drinking, in moderation, to boost their strength at the same cost - intoxication and temporary loss of Wis/Int.

I agree. I was all worried about where to get the components to brew it to make Frost Temper, when someone pointed out that most bars carry it. And Halas has SEVERAL bars!
