Confirmed today. (didn't drop today) But recently acquired by my twink warrior. I keep farming for a BF, I think I've done the cycle 11-12 times so far. No BF... :( no breastplate either. Seems impossible and at this rate I am well over 70+ days of waiting (not including time I wasn't able to log in and kill and someone else got em.)
# Feb 07 2004 at 4:14 PM Rating: Decent
This has a 65% chance to proc over the default proc rate of weapons (according to unknown070 value).

This weapon is a top notch aggro weapon because - just like the Bloodfrenzy - it has a 40 % increased proc-chance compared to your average weapon.

Pair it with the Anger III augment and this makes every Blade of Carnage look old.
RE: Fast procs
# Mar 25 2004 at 4:43 PM Rating: Default
I have this blade with anger II aug and it pulls aggro of our MT with BoC and anger III aug, we both use the same offhand also.
RE: Fast procs

...well i wouldn't go as far as saying that...

Blade of Carnage
Weight: 0.0 Size: TINY
Damage: 15 Delay: 20

Str: +15 Dex: +15 Sta: +15 Fire Resist: +3 Disease Resist: +3 Cold Resist: +3 Magic Resist: +3 Poison Resist: +3 HP: +100

Weapon Skill: One Hand Slash
Classes: Ranger Paladin Shadowknight Bard Warrior
Races: All Races
Slot 1: Type 4
Effect: Enraging Blow (700 point aggro+)
Type: Combat (proc)

Snap aggro is better then dd / stun aggro...i mean duh its straight aggro. As for ratio ya a 13/17 is better then a 15/20...but compare the hp gain over BoC, saves, as wella s everyother stat, this weapon doesn't even compare.

On the other hand your are comparing a Snap aggro weapon to a DPS weapon. The stun i am sure draws very good aggro, back a while ago i used to use a 12/18 75dd + stun and a 13/20 160dd stun.

Although the copper hammer was resisted alot the bloodsworn usually enver got resisted.

Great aggro the stuns were. But it doesn't compare to snap aggro weapons. Usually snap aggro (any of them) proc ALOT, an often times back to back.

Added with a 600+ augment hate raise, nothing can compare.

Snap aggro weapons are the 1337 of 1337 for aggro, you can't point at a dd weapon an scream its better.

An if this is anything like a BF drop, then its pretty rare...more then likely it drops ever 1 an 10 kills.

Bloodfrenzies are just those weapons that every warrior has wanted....most will NEVER see one. Only the lucky few can sport them proudly...

Make sure you know what your talking about before you post please. The hate generated by the stun on this weapon, or CHOS, or SOTB, etc. has been parsed over and over again and it is ~450 hate. Whether or not the stun is resisted, target is immune, etc., has no bearing on the hate created. Not taking the DD on the proc into consideration or the weapon dmg/delay this still ends up being 742.5 hate proced by this per every 700 hate proc of a BoC once you factor in the increased proc rate. However, the real beauty of this is in that warriors have problems with agro at the beginning of the fight. My warrior never loses agro after the first 15 seconds of a fight unless someone is being a moron. However, during that time every now and then I will lose agro to the slower because my weapons simply havn't proced yet. Warriors don't have agro problems, they have EARLY fight agro problems, and this weapon goes a long way towards solving them. That is why is it much, much better than a BoC.
#REDACTED, Posted: Apr 01 2004 at 4:30 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) umm you may wanna rephrase that. Encounters are not that difficult, meaning any warrior can get this as long as they get their level 65 and join a raiding guild. Any beginning guild can take exiled, so long as they have a few members that know the encounter and the tactics needed. This is a beginners target, if your guild thinks this encounter is to tough then you prolly should ditch them. Guilds that don't have balls don't progress.
lovely weapon
# Nov 26 2003 at 12:50 PM Rating: Decent
Got it last night actually, already love it. Using it offhand with a Great Blade of Storms with AngerIII aug main. Even offhand it procs twice as much as GBoS lol.

and yeah, 17dly now.
Delay Change?
# Jun 25 2003 at 12:00 PM Rating: Default
I just got this a couple nights ago and I think the delay says 17. I will confirm and update this post.

As for agro... cover my in BBQ Sauce and try to keep Grummus off me! Thing holds agro very well. MA had a BoC (Enraging Blow) in their primary and a Cord Hilted Spike Driver (Taunting Blow) in the off-hand and every time I proc'd I got agro.

Granted, doesn't stun any of the big mobs but it does effect their mind (can't remember message).

this and SoD
# Feb 11 2003 at 6:10 PM Rating: Decent
If a warrior had this in primary and a Sceptre of Destruction in secondary, I'll bet nothing could take agro from him
RE: this and SoD
# Mar 04 2003 at 9:30 PM Rating: Decent
SoD is kinda getting old. It was awesome when velious came out, even nice when SoL was released, but after PoP I think it became a twink weapon.
# Nov 19 2002 at 9:53 AM Rating: Default
I currently wield this weapon in my mainhand and an acrylia handled broadsword in my offhand.

I have done tests using this weap vs using a blade of carnage and guess what...this completely owned the BoC as far as holding aggro.

It also gives me major DPS (for a warrior! :P).

The only downfall of it is the HP, but i am willing to sacrifice that because aggro is much more valuable then a few more HP.

BTW has anyone seen it drop lately? No one on our server has and i'm beginning to wonder...

I have just Achieved this weapon myself and I have it placed in Conjunction with the Katana of Pain. I would like to say that with the Damage/Delay and the spell interrupting effect of the proc, This makes this weapon EXTREMELY Useful for taking agro off of Monks/Shaman who are epiced who are trying to Slow and Beat the heck out of things... Yes it has lower hitpoints than something like say Jaelyn's katana. But I must say I have to agree that it's the Cleric/druid/shammy whatnot to keep you the tank alive you need to worry about keeping the agro on you and not on the cleric. *smiles*

However, all in all this is a GREAT weapon for Primary hand. Save for a few others I would suggest all make a bid to try for this weapon.

"You people saying this weapon isnt good, how many high lvl warriors wouldnt want this weapon"

Yes, to those people, play a warrior! This thing is huge taunt. It doesn't have raw hp on it, but who cares? Your job is to keep aggro, let the clerics worry about your HP.

Ya, it's been nerfed for an upgrade and now has an effect of Sanity Warp: 85-95DD with a 3-6 second stun, perfect for keeping agro. Time to go get me one soon. ;)

#REDACTED, Posted: Mar 23 2002 at 3:15 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Personally I think this isnt such a bad weapon, and the fact it doesnt have a proc on it makes it all the better. Why you ask?. For the simple reason it doesnt have much taunt on it, I could bag my SoD/Hategiver and use this for damage when my disc drops and we switch in another MT. The ratio is pretty good, tho personally I wish it would have some saves. The stats are negligible tho since most warriors who are in guilds capable of downing the exiled already have maxed sta and str.
This weapon is uber
# Mar 06 2002 at 7:54 AM Rating: Default
You people saying this weapon isnt good, how many high lvl warriors wouldnt want this weapon, i would take this over my epic, for one the str and stam is nice on it, i know being a wood elf how important stamina is, All other classes in here saying this sucks, not to many high lvl warriors are uber like to think they are, 13/18 20str 20stam is extremely nice.

i dont get it

13/18 very nice ratio 1hs.
ac 10
20 str 20 sta

and a warrior would have better at 55+

like what? maybe im missing something here but this sword seems to be one of the high end weapons.

I wouldnt know about high end weapons as my warrior is only lvl 21 but then again maybe my enchanter lvl 58 would have seen some phatty weilding something better than this

Good dam/delay is nice for xp groups.
For raids you NEED a good procing weapon, like SoD, Willsapper, etc. Fast and procs a high aggro spell is better than just damage/delay ratio.

Nice weapon..of course it doesnt have a proc for high aggro*sarcasm*Aggro is overated..I dont care what weapon you have a 55 warrior cannot out aggro me..that is why Rangers have Jolt.

Well, i submitted this for the hell of it. But when this dropped for us in Ssra temple, first we laughed, then we got pissed, then we tried desperately to find someone to willingly loot it. I ended up looting it for the sole purpose of having 1 more weapon to my collection =/ It serves as a decent non-proc, low damage, non-aggro gaining weapon. But its not something worth the fight it was from. NToV fights are alot easier than this one with Vyzh'dra the Exiled. It was also passed up in the Ssra temple reitemization. =/ Ohh well, one more blade added to the Swiss Army Knife =/
RE: Right...
# Jan 27 2002 at 9:17 PM Rating: Default
You must be very sarcastic! Low Agro the Delay is one faster tehn a lammy same as calws of thunder - haste, Low dam 13 is not low damage on a 1hs Epic for wars 14 claws of thunder 14 with haste this would rip stuff up. The 10 AC more then makes up for no procs witch I believe procs tend to be overated for teh most part nice but not to replace Dam/dly ratio. WEll if you want high damage go for teh Wurmy jusat got deal with the agro from that 45 delay

I am a lucky enough paladin to weild a Jeldorin. It really thrills me that now Warriors have a high-end option of their own now, that doesnt require visiting NToV or Sleepers. If only this were TRADABLE it would be perfect. Thats what makes the Jeldorin so great... sure it will sell for 60k+, but most guilds would never allow that to happen... the blade would get passed down to a needy guildmate once the owner got a better weapon. At any rate, I plan on taking my guild into Ssraeshza until some of our MTs get this. Maybe then they can finally keep taunt without me having to stop attacking every few rounds =)

Even if PAL was a usable class, and the loot dispersment actually let PALs roll on it...I would roll FOR the warrior to get it.

Congrats, warriors, on having a nice weapon like this in the database...and of course major /applaud to the warrior who wields it.

Angryhippo you obviously havent playes a warrior trying to hold aggro with a 13dam 25 dly weapon or worse. I have lost aggro to Ranger, paladins and, Shadowknights that have a weapon similar to mine but can cast spells that are much higher aggro than I can generate (hell I have a friend that plays a ranger who constantely keeps him self as high on the aggro list as he can so he can get aggro when I get to 2 bubles not realizing that my 2 bubles of health are still more Hp than him), Yes wariors have a huge selection of weapons to chose from but look at the stats and Dam Dly on them. This couples with a Lammy and a haste item will allow the MT to actually do what he needs to, HOLD AGGRO. Making it all 1hs useable really defeats the purpose of the Warrior class. This weapon is SWEET! and I hope someday to be able to get one.
