Good newbie quest armor! Easy to get.

Just did this quest the gloves r not no drop. just lore.
The ghulam boots are 5 ac 10 hp. 10 hp is decent level 6, Need one more mandible for my gloves. They seem to be super rare.

Well yes except curscale quests are doable by level 1/2s and have no stats other than AC. This actually has a HP bonus, which might not seem like much to twinks but for someone just starting out a whole set of this stuff is probubly helpful...

Actually Curscale has some bonuses to saves if I recall correctly. I like how they did the racial and class armor/weapon quests. Actually, the weapon/shackle/skullcap quests are the reason I made Iksar characters, adds to the role playing.
Quite right :). And even so I agree with you, just recently I actually went and started to play a halfling druid becuase of the new armor quests. I find I enjoy the character far more, there is an actual purpose behind him. Plus oddly enough (could just be because he's halfling) he leveled 3 times faster than my wood elf druid, who is twinked nicely. I was going to move that character over to Rivervale and do an item exchange, but I am finding I actually LIKE his newbie armor. Go Figure...no twinkage for Guwin :)
Seeing as you bring up newbie armor, why haven't Vah Shir been given the REAL newbie armor quest ? I believe Iksar are in the same boat also which I find quite disappointing . Funny thing is the Beserkers got the quest but none else did, that is FOUL !! The way things are going it will never be corrected because none feel reason to raise their voice, maybe do to all twinks. There has been ample time for it, hell I remember when Paineel Erudites finally got their quest but those fellows from Erudin where forced to wait in limbo for months.
I just recently started a vah shir and thought they had REAL newbie armor quest. Now I know why I couldn't find a NPC for it...
