To find the Warrens from Paineel just head to your newbie zone then from the guards follow the right wall until you come to some stairs leading down to a pool with 2 doorways. From the stairs choose the doorway to the left to the Warrens zone, or continue heading straight to find the zone to the Hole.

Ok. I am in Paniel, how do I get to Warrens? Do you need a Velius Expansion to get to Warrens?

Seem odd to mention that? Not really. The erudite pally/cleric quest armor is similar to this (looks nice too!) for stats and ac. My little pally is loving it! There is better stuff out there yes--better ac and better stats. BUT: I read about midnight sea mail and HAD to make erudite pally just to walk around in it. I have never seen anyone else wearing it, and I constantly get inspected and asked what and where did i get it. Questing it was fun, yes i had help, but it was worth it (specially seeing muggy get killed a bunch of times, stupid tadpole!) Thing is, this is everQUEST (note the emphasis on quest). If i had read about this armor first, I might have made and erudite sk, just to have something no one else has. This sk armor appears to be just as good as the midnight sea mail (too bad paineelish clerics can't use it tho) and typically, banded mail will carry you to 20+. Add stats, and my 15 erudite pally will be wearing this for quite a while. At least till she can get some Steelsilk that is. HEHE

Not everything is going to be a great item for servers that are up to 2 years old. But think about the fun you may have getting one on a brand new server. Quests are fun to do. Look at AO. Really fun quest system there because its easy to get quests, not to hard to complete them AND you get rewards that are useful.

my wimpy erudite SK has 134 STA and at level 49 has more HP and str than most every troll i have run into. my AC is comparable and i dust them in mana by about twofold. pls take caution in underestimating "wimpy erudite SKs" as u may fall victim to their next bloodletting.

I think as most games. Its the reward for sticking it out. like, they are wimpy at first, but I keep seeing more and more gear thats way nice. Euradite only. And the drops in the warrens, including a SK only 'reclaim energy' helm, nice armor with decent stats... I think its sort of an off beat reward for picking a less then popular class/race combo. Like they are doing now with noob armor... the less common class/race combo have nicer gear stats. ^_^
im actually seriously concidering making one. that and there are a TON of old world quests.

For those wimpy Erudite SKs, this might be a decent alternative to bronze, considering the weight.
Also, this is the RIVER SOURCE quest! YAY!

For the level(if the posted 25 is correct) this isn't that bad. granted it's not velious quest but not a bad step in the right direction.

for all the effort involved in getting this is it really worth it??? Same stats as banded for ac and looks like the bloodstained tunic when worn... Well i wish i hadn't spent all the time and effort doing this. Also its no-drop so you can't even sell it! Oh well what can you say
