Sporali Gloves  

 

Some info for you people :
These gloves are the rare off the sporalli moldmaster in runnyeye. His commons are the sporalli defender blade and the sporalli shield. His spawn time seems to be around 2 and a 1/2 hours with no place holder it seems. The moldmaster is a lvl 40ish druid type and if not attacked immediately will buff himself with a damage shield and sow. The haste on these gloves is around 5-7%, we tested this using a fbss, sash of dragonborn and hangman noose, comparing the combat data for a 30, 43, and 54 warrior. For the 30 and 43 warrior the haste usually ended up around 5-6% haste, for the 54 warrior it was about 7%. All in all, it is a pretty decent item, haste is kinda low, but what do you expect from a mid-level dungeon. All our warriors, however, said they prefered cobalt or better ac gauntlets over these and stuck with their haste belts. Also, these do NOT stack with other item haste. the only way to get haste is from a item, buff, or bard song. I would expect the market value to be around 3-4k, the ac hit is kinda nasty and the haste isn't that great compared to even a swirlspine or fbss, however these are great if you don't have 10k to blow on a fbss (Bristlebane server price average).

Wait a second here... if these are in fact 10% haste, you can basically take your average level 20s rogue and ranger that cannot wear very high AC gloves anyways, and make that Serrated Bone Dirk an 8/24 instead of an 8/27. A tombcarver becomes a 5/15 or so, and a SS of Ykesha is now an 8/22. I cannot see why this is a pisspoor item for sub 30's at all. In fact, who would not pay some good plat to improve their damage per minute by 13% or so? What else is a rogue, monk, and ranger supposed to do other than deal out as much damage as possible.

I suppose the same logic could be placed on your argument by saying why bother with an FBSS since this item is just as good and it gives you some AC to boot! Not to mention dots at lower levels are no big scare anyways. Oh no! I might get Rabies more often from that mummy in Oasis...! Bah... camp this item while in your teens and rake in some nice gear, +20% exp bonus, and good dungeon pulling technique. Get a clue.

does this haste onlt effect H2H or is it any wepon weilded?

I've been told it's somewhere between 5 and 10 %. Not sure if that's accurate or not.

Drops off of the Sporali Mastermold, about a 2 to 2.5 hour spawn rate. Druid-type around lvl 40ish? (had no problem soloing at 51 except for annoying damage shield) Does not drop gloves everytime; killed him twice and once dropped a 17/39 1hs, pally sk only. Have no idea the haste percentage on the gloves, haven't experimented with them yet, but guessing it isn't too high based on lvl of zone/mob. Nonetheless, haste in hand slot is rather unique. Send me a tell on Tribunal if you're interested in these. Not sure i'm gonna keep em, but serious offers only (ie, no 200pp offers =P )
