Dropped off Mossback for me earlier today 7/6/07. The named snake in Blightfire Moors. I think this may be the first Sleeve Pattern to drop off Mossback, just a heads up.
Confirmed 7/21. Mossback, Plaguebringer, Dragoneater, and Cliffstalker each dropped sleeve patterns, whereas in the past none of them had in my experience. Unless the RNG gods were smiling on me, I'd say that the distribution for all patterns has been fixed.

I have been hunting in Blightfire for about 12 lvls now doing all the quests, etc... I have found every single pattern at least once and most of them 3 or 4 times. However, I have yet to loot a single sleeve pattern. Seems strange to me that this particular pattern would be so rare. I have looted the chest pattern off of Plaguebringer the easy rat so why this one is rare is a mystery.

Maybe i am missing something but why would a 42 level mob drop quest items for gear that is around the 20-30 range? seems kinda stupid. Once your 42 you can move on to better stuff. Just my opinion.
This is to encourage groups...remember, this is primarily a "grouping" game and not everyone solo's...there are some mobs that cannot be solo'd at all.
Not sure why Thunderwood drops these patterns, if he does, but I can tell you that I have had the leggings pattern drop from mossback, which is a level 24. It appears to me, that the patterns drop off a veriety of mobs, some easier than others.

If Thunderwood drops these it must be his "super rare" drop, because I've killed him 10x about and have only gotten legs and chest patterns.
Does anyone know if any other mobs drop this pattern?
I've got more legs, chest, gloves, helms and bracer patterns than I know what to do with, but no sleve patterns. :(

Have you tried Duskfall? He seems to drop a petern everytime but not sure of his regular stuff

The pattern dropped off of Thunderwood's corpse for me. Takes 3 silks along with the pattern. I am assuming that all the casters have similar if not the same stats but all i got was the necro version.
For necro's the stats are:
magic item Lore item no trsde
Slot: Arms
AC: 4
Dex +3 Sta +3 Int +3 HP +15 mana+20
SV Dsease +3 Cold +2
Regeneration +2
Required lvl 20
Slot 1, Type 7

I have yet to find where these drop. I've found countless helm patterns, quite a few boot patterns, and I've got a few robe patterns, but cannot find the sleeves anywhere. Any suggestions?
They are just ridicoulously rare.
BP pattern and legs should be harder to come across than the sleeves. The game designers obviously made a mistake on rarity of the sleeves, and will probably get around to fixing it either: A)Two or more expansions from now, or B) Never.
If you really want the arms, be prepared to spend weeks trying to get them. Or just get something better, which is not hard to do.
