Picked one up for 75pp, nice upgrade to giant scalemail cloak
On my server (Torvonnilous). These range about 300-500pp in the bazaar... I looked them up and they were the only 2 in the bazaar... one was 300 the other 500... Dont know why so cheap.. I would pay probably 1k at the most for this... Its nice! Its a good upgrade from my old cape anyways =P Icetooth pelt...

Im thinking this might be nice for my ranger. The HP and STR are very welcome to any ranger. As for monks, my main is a monk, and he has spider fur. I think they two are too close to trade them for one another. Spider fur has 2 more AC which is no joke, and 3 STM. My monk would take 3 STM before 4 DEX anyday. STR both match. Comes down to 10 SVC + 2AC vs. 50HPS. Obviously the 50 HPS own both by far, but is it really worth that much more money? if you can get spider fur for a lot cheaper, then thats what i suggest thats what you do. Nowadays you can see spider fur cloaks around 200pp, and Shimmering will run you between 500-1k. BTW 0.0 weight = awesome for any class.

50HP > 2AC any day of the week, regardless of class. Shimmering Terror Hide Cloak is better than a Spider Fur Cloak by a decent margin.
However, you did mention price, and the price difference is something to keep in mind if you are strapped for cash. Shimmering Terror Hide tends to go for about double what a Spider Fur Cloak does. If you are lacking cash, Spider Fur Cloak is excellent, but if you can afford the price difference, Shimmering Terror Hide Cloak is much better.

I don't know what you guys are smoking but this goes for around 500pp on RZ, spider fur goes for 250pp on RZ so just makes sence

omg, I bought one of these for 180pp(not a typo) on EMarr in the Bazaar, either the person selling it didn't know how much is was worth, or he was just feeling generous. I didn't even know where it came from, til I'll looked on here and discovered it was from Icepaw. I thought it was from somewhere on Luclin, since that's where I bought it.

It's very reasonable... if you're a monk.
Strength, Dex, Hit Points... and WEIGHTLESS. Very few totally weighless items in the game.

This cloak is nice for everyone. I use one and I'm a SK. There just simply aren't that many cloaks that are better than the lizardscale cloak and worse than a cof that don't require 200+ tailoring skill. HBC is an example of one such rare cloak, but it seems to go for around 5k on my server, and the stats are about the same as this.

What an awesome cloak. I bought one today for 3.5k on prexus. I think i got the upper hand out of this deal. Anyone know what this goes for? Allakhazam's is kinda wrong I think and avg price on eqprices was 16k...hmm hehe Its better than hooded black cloak and that goes for like up to 10k on prexus so i dunno.

one of the various possible named kobalds in the upper kobald camp. I think it was silly when a normal mob dropped an ac 10 cloak right after this one :p

You know, the information states which zone the item is in. Why not get in a group, go there and explore instead of whinning because someone didn't say exactly which creature it dropped from and the exact spawn location with a guide on how to kill it? Sheesh
