if you going to post a location make it easy on the one trying to use it. do not just copy the text from your /l make little sense to do it if you have trouble using that system to locate something.
edit your map folder by hitting the back space button and clicking the little icon on the bottom right of that pop up then select the add label. place the name of the item/npc in the label area and select add. save the file you done .
you can past this in the yxtta_3 file in the map folder.

It now seems as there is a timer that will only allow you to loot one Fern Sample per hour, per zone. The 10 min run which would be easy enough will no longer work as of this posting date.
#1) In Kod'taz just East of Ikkinz #2 Temple along the wall on top of a small rock at.
/LOC -2033.69, -1176.50, -400.33. Directly East of NPC Maroley Nazuey.
#2) Following the Green safe path on Mapfiend map .. from Natimbi/KT zone in follow path(green safe path) south. When it makes the first 90'(right hand turn) do not turn .. run straight ahead, behind the first set of pyramids and there is a small bush on the ground between the steps on your left side. Caution it is nicely surrounded on both side's.

Look for the red dotted circle (a silent monolith mobs red at 76) on your map. The Sample shrub is right in the middle of them. I invised and stood in the midst of them at the bush and dropped invis. Nothing attacked /emoted of otherwise. I clicked and got my sample then re-invised and ran north to the zone line and waited an hour then got another sample.
Zone into Yxtta from Kod'taz from the SE side of the fork, it puts you right at the ring of Golem mobs.
The /Loc is +640.23, -1092.41, -414.79 (Yxtta Pulpit of Exile) good luck all.

Confirmed today that you can get all three KT fern's w/out help from anyone else, full shrink, and invis + lev(i did not use lev but would help). i just went up the walls at every location and was able to snag all 3 in zone, plus the one from the east ent of Yxxt (the golems say "ready to attack" but are non KOS). got all four samples in under 10 mins.

Make sure you have done your hails prior. Tried to save time by doing the farming first (bloods, ores, ground spawns). Could not loot the ferns until after initial quest hails were done.
is there ne way to comeplete 1.5 if u dont have kt flag? or do u need to go an get completely kt flagged just to do it.

I think that SoE changed something with the groundspawn, because nothing I read prepared me for the ordeal I went through to click these bushes/pots. I will outline how to do it easiest from my trials and tribulations (not to mention the 5+ deaths it took).
I was able to make some contacts through friends and old guild members (special thanks to Fayborne, Koliana, Arslayn, Eldamor, Ullorian, Recondel, DC, OOP, and CA) to get my zerker gimped into KT. Figured this would be fairly easy run. You need to have on you a couple 10 dose lev and about 10 invis potions (thanks Arslayn). When you get into KT, forget about getting ANY of the ground spawns here. Have found that two mob types see invis, Ukun (which have been stated) and Kyv (which have not). I think SoE has strategically placed static Kyv in KT right next each spawn. The two Ukun on the KT map are roamers and if you carefully follow the safe route on the Mapfiend website, you can get to Yxtta. This is the target zone. Make sure you zone in on the east ZL.

This is the easy part. The golem ring is right near the ZL...can't miss it...big dias with three rings of nasty looking golems in it. Now when I invised, they conned scowling. Arslayn said that they normally just invised and ran by them without any aggro. Because of the issue with the Kyv, I was afraid that SoE nerfed this too. So, I invised, was ready to use invulnerabilty disc, and charged forward!!!
And nothing happened.
The golems will not engage. Now, I am not sure if this is the same if you are not invis. So, I clicked on the plant, got my sample, and backed up a bit.
Now we had a problem, a group member needed to log. Time to test something. He logged shortly after I picked up the first spawn. When he camped, I got a two min warning for autopunt. I camped too. Waited an hour, and came back and did the same procedure for getting the spawn. Rinse & repeate X3 and VOILA!!! 4 Fern samples. Was able to get all the samples with still about 30 sec to spare before autopunt to PoK. The two minute warning counter only counts down when that specific character is in zone, so you have more than enough time to run this process to get the drops, pending that nobody looted it and reset the timer.
I hope this helps everyone working on this, I know it has been a pain. It has been VERY nice though that I have purchased everything for my Epic 1.5 in the Bazaar, except the Sacred Water and these damn ground spawns. Good luck in everyone elses 1.5!!!

you can run invis from zone in to location Neg. 2032.90, neg 1179.72, neg. 398.24 and get the Fern sample.
It is East of the temple for Ikiniz Group #2 zone on topp of a rock. picking up the piece does not make you Visable. and you are a safe distance from the nearest see invis mobs.

Pretty straight-forward directions, but make sure you go to IKINIZ GROUP #2 (and not Ikiniz Raid #2.... which I initially did).
Currently parked beside the rock and relogging every hour.
